The Othering of Canadians

Madeline Weld has written a very interesting op-ed about how Justin Trudeau has explicitly de-Canadian’ed any citizen who chooses not to go along with His Narrative™:

Fast forward to 2021, and those rights are no more. When it comes to getting vaccinated for Covid, it’s get the jab or get lost. Far from standing up for individual rights, Justin Trudeau’s government is snatching them away and redefining them as privileges that the government will deign to give back once a person has obeyed its edict and gotten jabbed. In August of that year, he announced that his government, if re-elected, would spend a billion dollars to help provinces create their own vaccine passports for domestic use. Trudeau also said he wouldn’t force anyone to get a Covid shot but would restrict the “privileges” of those who refuse to get one without a medical reason (which is so narrowly defined as to make it almost impossible to get an exemption). So, per Trudeau, people were free to “choose” to get the jab or lose their “privileges” of holding a job and earning a living, going to “non-essential” venues like restaurants, gyms, and theatres, and traveling on planes, trains or cruise ships. No “force” to see here, folks, move along.

  1. Whatever His Royal Rectalness says or does, that is the law.

And he will be re-elected….. again….. and again….. and again…..

  2. Canadians went along with Castreau because they wanted peach, order and security even at the cost of personal freedom.

  3. Twenty more years of Dear Leader, and then his son Great Leader can take over.

    1. Son? Likely his “progeny” will be a trans-species activist in twenty years. A “do-sexual”; do anything with a hole or a stick.

  4. What a despicable creature Trudeau is!
Why would anyone consider voting for this idiot? Perhaps because half the population is below average?
    Depressing.

    1. Bribery and largesse. Buying the media’s commentary and voice, ensures re-election with the daily drone of Climate Change, Magic vaccines, Fear porn, diverthity, etc, etc.

The population by and large is malleable and gullible. Legal pot, and soon to be legalized heroin, meth, coke, mushrooms and other toxic substances will ensure complicity of the simpletons.

Bring on the government bankruptcy! FASTER! HARDER!

    2. Why would anyone consider voting for this idiot?

Discontented women and certain alphabettys see him as the boyfriend they’d love to canoodle with. He’s a himbo, political beefcake, a grand national sex doll. Nice hair and a salami down the front of his pants (worn tightly, of course) is considered a sufficient electoral platform in this country.

If he wasn’t in politics, he’d make a comfortable living posing for cover pictures of Harlequin romance novels.

  5. Canadians by and large are ignorant socialist lazy people who suffer from a debilitating case of National Identity Psychosis.

    1. The only consistent Canadian identity I’ve encountered is a smug pride in not being Americans.

      1. Smug pride is such a convenient cover for an inferiority complex. Canadians know they are not tough enough or brave enough to be Americans, so they resort to tearing down that which they can’t hope to aspire to.

Have ever a group of people deserved their fate more?

        1. Peter, “Smug pride is such a convenient cover for an inferiority complex.”
Mirrored by the turd with his laurentian superiority complex! FIFY.

  6. The guy at the bank today did say there were a lot of angry people there a few weeks ago but didn’t seem to know why.

I still believe there is a bank run going on and disinvestment from Canada but it is now harder to get at funds which may be good for people realizing Trudeau destroyed the Canadian financial system and still working to get out funds.

Since Western countries are seizing assets of Russians, are there really any safe financial systems left?

    1. So, BMO will only let me withdraw $3K per day cash, plus $3K from ATM. If you want more, or all of it, it can be ordered and received a couple days later. Convenient huh?

Problem is, withdraw your cash and inflation eats it away at 10% a year. True, sitting in the bank at 0.5% is no different, so, where to place it? Does one want all their cash converted to Au/Ag? Not really, so it has to go somewhere else, preferably into assets that can easily be converted to cash without getting strafed in commissions, exchange or fees. The Stock Market? No Effin Way, at this time……

Or is it a case of having 90% of what you had vs 100% confiscation?………

      1. I’m struggling with this issue also. At this point, anything you can hold, store, eat, use to defend yourself or has some use seems better than anything in the banking system. And really, I don’t think there are years ahead of us now until everything breaks.

I was getting pieces of paper or logging into websites that told me this number was what I had. But really, that was just pieces of paper or electronic ones and zeroes. It had no value. Trudeau really helped me to understand that… I want things I can hold now, only keeping some ‘money’ in the system until it collapses.

For me, I believe the shot was a depopulation shot. I don’t see things ever ‘getting back to normal.’ And too much money has been printed. Huge cracks are showing up in our supply chains. And I think our leaders know on some level they are on borrowed time. I’ll take 90%.

        1. Stateless, I was gonna reply to take the 90%, until I read your last paragraph. I fully agree that the system is in a slow colapse. I’ve been expecting it for the last couple of years, and preparing for it as well. Unfortunately you can never stop preparing. It will happen, and cannot now be averted, only bandaided and secreted away, until it can’t be bandaided and secreted away.
I follow the four G’s, = Gold, Guns, Grub, and Ground!

It’s been that way for several years, though I thought the limit was $5000.

I found out about that a few years ago. One day, at the house I inherited, I found some of my late mother’s “Mattratzengeld” (mattress money). Unfortunately, it all was in old bills. A while later, I needed to pay a contractor for work that he did on the house. I took some of that money and tried to exchange it into newer currency. That’s when I found out about that limit.

I’ve only been a Bank of Montreal client for about 60 years and I only own a small block of shares, so who was I, eh? I might have been Osama bin Ladin or Tony Soprano as far as the branch was concerned.

  7. How about we keep it simple. FUCK TRUDEAU. His father was a French/Quebec communist, his people are evil, the liberals hate individual freedom and Canadians are for the most part stupid and embrace tyranny and totalitarian bullshit. Prove me wrong. Show me just how the truckers with their well intentioned actions changed a god damned thing.

  8. Thailand is now paying the jabbed injured.
More and more stories are breaking everyday.

I do believe Moderna and Pfizer will go under. When the jabbed are forced to realize they have been poisoned, I think our leaders are gone. You can’t walk back democide.

  9. Though it’s nice to blame stupid Canadians, the electorate is also not provided (allowed?) real alternatives (like none of the major parties challenged mandates in the last election, resulting in the convoy). Turnout for the last election was 62%. How much of the 38% that didn’t vote is due to no options? Then consider on top of that 20% voting Conservative, I presume, as a hold your nose to try and beat Trudeau vote. Trudeau support is not large – only large enough to get a minority government under very specific circumstances. Problem is, the opposition is at best weak, and at worst, no different.

    1. The liberals have managed to insinuate themselves as the party of choice in strategic ridings throughout this country. Look at the so called golden triangle which surrounds the entire western end of Lake Ontario and also most of the 905 area code which is East and North of Tarawna. Then of course they seem to have a lock on Quebec and Maritime provinces seats. If they win in these areas then all they need to get a minority government is to pick up a few more seats in the rest of the country. In the last two elections the Conservatives won the most votes in Ontario but the liberals still won most of the seats. That has to change if the CPC is ever going to govern this country.

    1. Uh, no. They’d be considered “real” Canadians and, therefore, exempt. Its we citizens who will always be suspect.

  10. Thank you that’s one fine article, and it’s bang on. What sickens me is the media’s behavior, they’ve championed the removal of our rights and giggle with glee as they bury freedom and liberty below their ivory towers of ignorance. I will never forgive the media’s silence these past two years as every level of government crushed us with tyranny using a mere virus as justification. Now the media are focused on turning innocent Russians into the new Corona virus, how many innocent Russians globally will have their lives destroyed by the same hateful vile media lackies?

  11. Why are people wearing masks in the House of Commons? Aren’t masks now options in the R O C?

  12. As we move ever closer to a cashless society have the banks, aiding the politicians in this endeavor, really thought this through. If we go the ‘social credit’ route do the banks not realize they will be redundant? Without cash the government will become all powerfull. If the government issues a ‘social credit’ system based on the credit score that the government will formulize, and advance credits to the cards or chips that all the good little sheep and lemmings line up for, what need of banks will there be. Has anyone really thought this through? At the moment banks already are moving to a no cash system. If I get a check every week as wages or if the amount is directly deposited and the bank issues me with a debit/credit card so that I don’t have to carry cash, how difficult will it be for the government to take over the bank’s job. Just think of all the money, sorry credit scores , that will be saved by not having to pay out bonuses to the five major bank CEOs and the respective boards of governors. If the banks think that they will be in the drivers seat in a cashless society they are far dumber than I give them credit for, robbers and thieves they may have been in the past but if they allow the government leeway to a cashless society they’ll be gone like the Dodo and Passenger Pidgeon. Just a thought and open for discussion.
