Misha is a male name, a short form for the russian male name Mikhail (Michael).

My guess, she has probably picked up a stage name after her favorite video game character. Nothing wrong with that of course. Either that, or her parents really wanted a son.
She also has an uncolored, pure American accent. That’s not likely, even if she were raised here, if her parents were Russian speakers. It was her great grandfather who came over in ’75.
