Those ‘Classified’ Docs FBI Sought in Trump Raid Were Already Declassified

On Monday, the FBI executed a search warrant of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home that was approved by a magistrate judge who is not only linked to Jeffrey Epstein but was also an Obama donor. According to CNN, the raid was “part of an investigation into the handling of presidential documents, including classified documents, that may have been brought there.”

If that is the case, this further proves that the raid was an abuse of power, because we’ve known for months now that the documents in question were already declassified by then-President Trump.

“Trump declassified whole sets of materials in anticipation of leaving government that he thought the American public should have the right to read themselves,” Kash Patel, a former top Trump administration official, told Breitbart News in a phone interview in May. According to Patel, the classification markings just had not been updated.

“The White House counsel failed to generate the paperwork to change the classification markings, but that doesn’t mean the information wasn’t declassified,” Patel added. “I was there with President Trump when he said ‘We are declassifying this information.’”

Patel served as the Pentagon chief of staff as well as principal deputy to the acting director of national intelligence. He is also a former National Security Council aide, former top House Intelligence Committee staffer, and former federal prosecutor and public defender.

More: It seems the Justice Department should have put an issue of this magnitude before a full federal judge, rather than a magistrate, and that maybe it should have found someone without an Epstein connection.

    Could they refuse to seat Trump, if he got 81 million write in votes?

    Because if they stated exactly what they were looking for, they’d have to find it.

        1. Undocumented to my knowledge, but I have heard people in high levels of first responders saying that there were 25 assassination attempts on Trump before his inauguration alone. I doubt they have abated much since then. The hate from Clinton Co. is very effective, but not perfect. There are many who love President Trump and willing to take a bullet. Especially since this whole Plandemic® has played out.

  12. An American lawyer who I know commented that the raid is highly unusual and unwarranted in this case. They could have simply subpoenaed the documents. The only justification for the raid would be a belief that the suspect might destroy the documents. As Trump was in New York at the time of the raid, this was highly unlikely to happen.

  15. I’ve seen a lot of conjecture as to what the raid was all about. Well, it’s intimidation plain and simple. Trump is currently building his campaign team. The raid (and the J6 Committee) is about limiting the available selections for positions in that team. Pulling Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon to testify before the committee even though they had absolutely nothing to do with any of it was the tell. Bannon was gone for a number of years when Jan. 6th occurred.

    If they can limit the available selections for positions on the team, then they can slip their own “moles” in to sabotage the effort. Trump is horrendously bad at choosing advisors and confidantes (Kelly, Haley, Pompeo, Barr, even Chris Christie was listened to by Trump).

    The whole spectacle of a raid like that was to get the potentially good and trustworthy advisors to Trump’s campaign to think to themselves “This isn’t worth it. I’m not subjecting myself to that abuse and harrassment.” All the Deep State needs is one of two wildcards in the deck and they can pull their FISA abuse again as well as use inserted “informants” to create poor optical scenarios. In a way, the raid is proof that the Deep State is resigned to Trump running and potentially winning the next Presidential election. All forms of dirty tricks are on the table including even more egregious efforts as a fail safe.
