  2. I noticed he didn’t attempt (or maybe he did) to have other countries sign this letter. I wonder how much pressure the rest of the world will apply towards sending Ghebreyesus packing. Because that’s the primary purpose of this letter (in addition to making a concise public record of their failings and bias).

He’s attracting an audience not just from across the US but also Australia, Europe, S. and C. America. I see there are a few people in AB who sign into Chat. He’s a real southern boy and I would never have believed that he’d be the source of news. Love it when he gets a.n.g.r.y at the Washington crowd. He’s a preacher and can get a bit too close to cursing and/or a stroke!
    Make a cup of coffee and drop into one of his shows – he has several (also on You Tube and Facebook etc.).
    Wouldn’t be surprised if Trump hasn’t discovered him.

    1. I believe the U.N. should move to Ottawa if Trump defunds it. Largely because I am so attached to the thought of them enjoying the winters in the “world’s coldest national capital” – and their massive exudations of hot air might finally bring the rest of us some global warming.

  34. That is a point of view Ranger but not mine. And I have done some research. Plus have served myself.
    A google search of amalgamation and you will find many examples that it has not brought better services for the ratepayers but in fact has brought about the worst of big heavy handed government.
    The role of councillors that do it as a service for minimal indemnity is by far the majority.
    Smaller government closer to the people is far more accountable and nimble.
    The “co$t” of a rural council is a small portion of the ratepayers burden compared to all the rest of its costs.
