    So you’re telling me that we can send a man to the moon, but we can’t figure out an economical method of filtering water? I’m not buying it.

  4. And ignored in the article is the reality of the marketplace should such a dilemma actually come to pass. Scarce water = increased cost of production = fewer animals on the hoof = higher prices = reduced consumption of beef.
    Like, pretty everything else in the damned world that gets eaten, eh? You’d think they would have factored little things like that in.
