Aly Hindy

Revisiting this post from earlier this morning – Arabian Dissent has more on “Toronto Imam” Aly Hindy, quoted in the Globe&Mail as warning Anne McClellan that “”If you try to cross the line I can’t guarantee what is going to happen”;

As the Globe Article points out, Aly Hindy is the head of Scarborough’s Salaheddin Islamic Centre. What it did’nt point out is that the founding director of the mosque was none other than Hassan Farhat.
As the Red Star explains to us, CSIS believes Mr. Farahat is directly linked to Al-Qaida.
[…]
Oh but that’s not all…Mr. Hindy is also a close associate with our very good freinds, The Khadrs…

And, as AD puts it – “it gets better!”

Muayyed Nureddin lay on his stomach in a brightly lit room, as his interrogators beat his wet feet with cables. The Syrian authorities asked the questions they had asked for days.
The last one was always the same.
What is your relationship with Canada’s Salaheddin Islamic Centre?
Nureddin was released after a month behind bars. This week, back in Toronto, he spoke publicly for the first time about the interrogations and one session of torture he says he endured in a country where he had never been before.
The day before Nureddin spoke to reporters, news broke that another Canadian citizen was being released, this time from an Egyptian prison where he was held and questioned for 20 days.
Intelligence agents there also wanted to know about Salaheddin.
And in Toronto, segregated from other prisoners, one of Salaheddin’s forme…

  2. I read the story today and I’m outraged! How long are we going to let these high-handed Muslim thugs bully us. Of course, McLellan probably didn’t do any research on Islam and had her assistant fill her in on basics. But I bet she didn’t know about Taqqiya and Kidman. Taqqiya is the permission Islam gives to one of it’s practitioners to lie if it benefits Islam, even to the police. Although the threat wasn’t even veiled…it was a naked statement: Stop threatening us or we can’t guarantee what will happen. Well, maybe a few hockey hooligans or angry little old ladies like me can make an impression on them if necessary when the time comes. I’m up for a fight. How about you? How about we kick these people out and the best way to start is by kicking out the current Government.
    Vote Harper next election!

  3. Read the comments at LGF. The Liberal governments of the past 30 years have brought this opprobrium on all of our heads here in Canada. Canada is a haven for Islamist murderers; out with the imams of hate. Where are you AdScam Martin? Your first job is the security of Canada. Where do you stand PM Martin?

Imam Warns Canada: Back Off Muslims
Aly Hindy, the head of Torontos Salaheddin Islamic Centre, is threatening the Canadian government: Back off Muslims, imam warns Ottawa. (Hat tip: Earl.)
A controversial Toronto imam warned Public Safety Minister Anne McLellan at a closed-door meeting to stop terrorizing Canadian Muslims.
If you try to cross the line I cant guarantee what is going to happen. Our young people, we cant control, Aly Hindy, the head of Scarboroughs Salaheddin Islamic Centre, recalls telling the minister at the May meeting she held in Toronto with dozens of Muslim leaders.
The meeting was part of an effort by Ms. McLellan to reach out to Canadian Muslims amid complaints that the RCMP and Canadian Security Intelligence Service are engaging in racial profiling. …

  4. Can’t ya just . . ..
Feel the multicultural love fest a-happenin’ here,
The anger within, nuthin’ to fear,
We hate your guts, just let more of us in,
    We’ll takeover soon, we won’t let you sin . . .
If I were a left leaning, Liberal type, urban gay supporter, I’d be afraid, very, very afraid.
Because the Jihadis hate everything about you & what you stand for. The more you apologize for the butchery & terrorism, the more they despise you.
Or is they just don’t like Americans being in Iraq and Israelis in Isreal. Ya right.

  5. Hmmmmm… definitely some parallels here to Gerry Adams, huh? He’s warmly greeted by both IRA terrorists AND American politicians of Irish background. Must mean the American politicians have “terrorist” connections.
We really ought to bring back “guilt by association.” It would make things so much easier. Let’s say, six degrees of separation – you’re guilty!

  6. The more I read about Anne McClelland, the more I wonder what relationship she has with Robert. Lots of similiarities there. 😉

  7. And all protected under the Charter of Rights, which are sacrosanct, no matter what your affiliation or intentions.

  9. “Back off Muslims imam warns Ottawa”. They can’t control their young people – yuck yuck yuck…
They take refuge in our country and they hate our guts. WE ARE THE INFIDELS
Why the hell is Screeching Annie reaching out to the Canadian Muslims. Why does the muslim community not think they should be watched by CISIS AND THE RCMP. WE ARE AT WAR WITH – YES – TERRORISTS. She should be reaching out to the normal Canadian who will eventually take matters into their own hands and it won’t be just dirty looks (which they don’t like). Human nature is to protect our young and protect we will. Just because the white race is placid, when angered they are the most violent of the races. Just look at history…..
It’s time for the first wave of deportation to start. Enough names have been put forward. That Khadr family for one – which made me realise at the time, that I really was prejudiced even though I had gone years without ever thinking the word. Oh-yes – watch the Canadians take matters into their own hands since we have yellow-bellies for government. Maybe when they see we are serious they will loosen their lips and turn in those who wish to kill the rest of this population.
The more I read the angrier I get. foreign devil I’m with you. A few more old ladies like us just might be able to clean this country up.

  10. Anyone care to guess the number of muslim crewmen aboard PMPM’s ships? Do you think that could affect his policies?

  11. Capt Joe,
I may be wrong, but I think Anne and Robert spell their last names differently.
I also believe there is no MR. Scheecher. If there is, I’d like to meet the man who can drink that much whiskey……………

  12. Larry:
That is the lamest conspiracy connection I have ever read. And in a country full of them, no less.

  13. I must admit I’m with Peter this time. See, the pigs are flying! Larry, got any evidence we can examine, or do you wish we simply speculate?

  14. Stephen,
Ah Newfie Rum! The libation of my wasted youth.Ain’t it criminal though, that the thought of Screech and the Deputy PM should ride on the same brainwave?

  15. Aly Hindy must have missed the Memo

I started writing this post this moring then realized that there was more research then my time today allowed. Now that I am coming back to this piece I find that some of my fellow bloggers here here here and here have also commented on this story.

  16. Just think of what the next six months have to offer! Gomery’s going to deliver his report, Gurmant Grewal is going to send the RCMP tapes of him singing “Boris the Spider” in the shower, the Toronto Star is going to publish a series of articles by Gwynn Dyer explaining how America is finished and recommending that we all swear allegiance to our new insect overlords, Stephen Harper is going to kill, barbecue and eat whoever told him to wear that vest, Belinda is going to come out of the inevitable fall Cabinet shuffle as Minister for Dream Cars, Prime Ministerial wannabes Michael “The Great White Hype” Ignatieff and Bob “The Pink Indebtifier” Rae will have a Mazola slap-fight at the Sky-Dome to decide the leadership of the Gliberals, and Paul Martin will unzip his doughy exterior and reveal that he is, in fact, one of the Crab People.
And sooner or later the House is going to return, and Martin is going to have to face the music in the wake of what has been one of the most abysmal legislative sessions in Canadian history.
And then there will be an election, with all of the hoopla, madness and opportunities for overblown rhetoric that such things bring. Prepare to gorge at the bottomless cornucopia of weirdness that is the Demented Dominion.
It’s been a great six months, friends and neighbours, and it’s only going to get better.
    I can’t wait.

  17. Mabe you can placate the screaming Iman, with the bad kids, if you wish, by pointing South and looking very angry.
Better yet, deport him across the border, what’s one more. He can room with Sen. Kerry till he finds a mosque.
Why is this guy still living?

  18. Well said, Maz.
It’s like Christmas every day for us political junkies. Yes, the best is yet to come…

  19. Madam speaker, I rise on a point of order.
Maz didn’t say that, Trodwell did. Of course that would have been obvious is Maz’s quoting technique wasn’t so solecistic.

  20. Madam Speaker, I also rise on a Point of Order. I have no idea whereof the Honorable Member for Tony speaketh.
Perhaps a translation? Where’s my ear thingy?!

  21. The pigs ARE flying!! What the hell can be done about the Librano$$, really we have little or no recourse. Living in Alberta, the Librano$$ rule over us…HELP!!!

  22. No, Stephen, I’m not getting sucked into that game again. I got in trouble for it yesterday. In the future try http://www.answers.com
Meanwhile, returning to the motion on the floor, it does seem to me that eventually, one way or another, out-of-control youths and those who make excuses for them will in fact be controlled. The wisdom and cunning of the years always eventually trump the strength and cleverness of youth.
It’s human nature, but sometimes it takes a long time and a few hundred million dead.

  23. Failed shoe bomber Reid: Reid is a terrorist.
    http://www.rapp.org/url/?J3SEIP5
    >>>>>>>>>>
Judge Young then delivered the statement quoted below:
January 30, 2003, United States vs. Reid. Judge Young:
“Mr. Richard C. Reid, hearken now to the sentence the Court imposes upon you.
On counts 1, 5 and 6 the Court sentences you to life in prison in the custody of the United States Attorney General. On counts 2, 3, 4 and 7, the Court sentences you to 20 years in prison on each count, the sentence on each count to run consecutive with the other.
That’s 80 years. On count 8 the Court sentences you to the mandatory 30 years consecutive to the 80 years just imposed. The Court imposes upon you each of the eight counts a fine of $250,000 for the aggregate fine of $2 million. The Court accepts the government’s recommendation with respect to restitution and orders restitution in the amount of $298.17 to Andre Bousquet and $5,784 to American Airlines. The Court imposes upon you the $800 special assessment.
The Court imposes upon you five years supervised release simply because the law requires it. But the life sentences are real life sentences so I need go no further. This is the sentence that is provided for by our statutes. It is a fair and just sentence. It is a righteous sentence.
Let me explain this to you. We are not afraid of you or any of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans. We have been through the fire before. There is all too much war talk here and I say that to everyone with the utmost respect. Here in this court, we deal with individuals as individuals and care for individuals as individuals. As human beings, we reach out for justice.
You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that reference, to call you a soldier, gives you far too much stature. Whether it is the officers of government who do it or your attorney who does it, or if you think you are a soldier. You are not—– you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate with terrorists. We do not meet with terrorists. We do not sign documents with terrorists We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice.
So war talk is way out of line in this court. You are a big fellow. But you are not that big. You’re no warrior. I’ve known warriors. You are a terrorist. A species of criminal that is guilty of multiple attempted murders. In a very real sense, State Trooper Santiago had it right when you first were taken off that plane and into custody and you wondered where the press and where the TV crews were, and he said: “You’re no big deal.”
You are no big deal. …
… It seems to me you hate the one thing that to us is most precious. You hate our freedom. Our individual freedom. Our individual freedom to live as we choose, to come and go as we choose, to believe or not believe as we individually choose. Here, in this society, the very wind carries freedom. It carries it everywhere from sea to shining sea. It is because we prize individual freedom so much that you are here in this beautiful courtroom. So that everyone can see, truly see, that justice is administered fairly, individually, and discretely. It is for freedom’s sake that your lawyers are striving so vigorously on your behalf and have filed appeals, will go on in their representation of you before other judges.
We Americans are all about freedom. Because we all know that the way we treat you, Mr. Reid, is the measure of our own liberties. Make no mistake though. It is yet true that we will bare any burden; pay any price, to preserve our freedoms. Look around this courtroom. Mark it well. The world is not going to long remember what you or I say here. Day after tomorrow, it will be forgotten, but this, however, will long endure. Here in this courtroom and courtrooms all across America, the American people will gather to see that justice, individual justice, justice, not war, individual justice is in fact being done. The very President of the United States through his officers will have to come into courtrooms and lay out evidence on which specific matters can be judged and juries of citizens will gather to sit and judge that evidence democratically, to mold and shape and refine our sense of justice.
See that flag, Mr. Reid? That’s the flag of the United States of America. That flag will fly there long after this is all forgotten. That flag stands for freedom. And it always will.
    >>>>>>> Long live America.
    Long live freedom and democracy.

Mr. Hindy, who has long complained that CSIS is spying on him, his family and his mosque, told Ms. McLellan that a young Muslim woman complained to him she was roughed up by Canadian spies while her husband was away at prayers. This allegation could spur reprisals because our women are the most valuable thing to us and for a Muslim, honour is more important than his life, Mr. Hindy said in a recent interview.

  25. rWho says Muslims are a threat? Why, Aly Hindy does.

A nice little story, tucked away on page A10, of the Globe and Mail, today. Apparently, Aly Hindy, a Toronto imam, didn’t feel intimidated enough, by us Canadians terrorizing muslims, to prevent him from issuing an unmistakable threat, to Public

  26. Re: Judge Young
But only if we one, just one judge, in Canada with the balls that Judge Young has in both his sentence and his comments to Reid perhaps there would be hope for this failed experiment called Canada. But… we don’t.
    Great post maz!
Kind of gives ya goose bumps reading it. Too bad there isn’t the pride in Canada that there is in the States and unrelenting worship they have for individual freedoms and rights.

  27. Don’t expect Libscams to send fudamental disturbers like Aly Hindy back to Fundimentalstan.
It’s white knuckle time for Martinites and Fundalmentalists are a big Libscum voting block.
Bleeding heart Liberals never deport votes. 73s TG

  28. “Bleeding heart Liberals never deport votes”.
Tony: They will when we are attacked and lose the citizens these imbeciles are paid to protect.
I saw Canadians angry before and I believe that response is still deep in their gut. Every man and woman worked to win WW11. I watched heavy war machinery passing through the tunnel between the States and Canada. Saw Spitfires and many other types dip their wings as they flew over our neighbourhoods on their way overseas. Lost a brother-in-law in a Lancaster (tail gunner). Many family and friends died during that one. Cousins in England had bombs dropping in their gardens – it’s deep in our souls. Canadians are more angry about the London bombings than they were about the Twin Towers. It’s in our blood. You better believe there will be mass deportation. PC or not those internment camps will reopen in this country. We will be in survival mode, and no government in power will be able to stop this. The Canadians will be seeing red, and that is very dangerous for anyone that may be affiliated with these TERRORIST. We as a nation of people appear placid, but it would not be wise to test the waters.

  29. A Spitfire in Canada during WWII? Was he lost or something? To my knowledge the Spitfires were all manufactured in Britain and remained there until hostilities ceased. Lancs were certainly built in Canada as well as GB but I dunno about them there Spitfires.

  30. Maybe it wasn’t a Spitfire, the planes in Mich. were flying over as well. Anyways there was a hell of a lot of action up there and as a kid I remember it well

  31. Besides BCer you missed the point. What I’m saying is we are not all from the Dr. Spock generation and did not raise our own offspring to be whimps. There is plenty out there that will bring down that government if we are attacked, and our gov. decides to use PC. We haven’t forgot how to fight, we understand doing without for the cause. WE are not nice when we’re mad.

  32. Well Al hyndy says they cant control their children….who could.
Now we can only hope that their kids have been infected by canadian disease….a big shrug if the shoulders and “whatever” while they plug in their iPods.
The only thing being detonated is eardrums.
The inertia of canadians may actually work in our favour in this case.
Al Hindy is a nutcase and should be treated with the derision and social shunning that he deserves. The Kahdr’s did all of their “evil” overseas. Keep an eye on them for sure, CSIS should keep doing what it is doing but I think these guys are blowhards.
If they take one step out of line, thump em with deportation, tax audits, you know all of the things the government did to Gurmant Grewal, it clearly isnt hard to organize.

  33. Move along people….nothing to see here…..just a terrorist linch pin in TO threatening minister screech to the point she soils her depens….it’s all in hand we live in the greatest nation on earth and every one loves us….nothing going on here..nope.

  34. MASS DEPORTATION IS THE ANSWER….sooner or later.
How many innocent people must be murdered before we stop it ‘dead’.

  35. Stephen, I beg to differ. These guys are far more than just ‘blowhards’ as you put it. They are dangerous psycopaths who deserve either prison, or at the very least deportation. They do not deserve the fawning political correctness attitiude the Liberals give them, or the indifference/ignorance by the vast majority of Canadians of the threat they pose to our society.
One has only to read about the dangers posed by the extremist organizations and their so-called ‘religious schools’ around the world, to realize that they are setting up the same machinery of hatred and terrorist breeding grounds under our very noses here in North America.
It is time that we started dealing with this trash in a decisive and aggressive manner.

  36. Joe,
The point of my post was somewhat tongue in cheek, that if their youth are as our youth are there will be a major yawn when the call recruits is stated.
That being said, I agree with you that the law must be enforced. If mr al hindy is being watched by CSIS and CSIS has the proper judicial approvals to do so then too f’ing bad for Mr Al Hindy and “his women”
We have lots of existing laws, we dont need more. Enforce whats there, blindly, without prejudice. That includes lying on immigration applications. Quite frankly, if you are engaging in criminal activity or conspiriatorial activity here counter to “the crown” and you are not a citizen then back you go. If that happens to be a place of torture, then thats not my problem, you would still be there if you hadnt lied.
Apply the law and do it a manner that is without prejudice and we will be just fine.
Once again, the government seems to be able to whip up a case and an investigation against a troublesome opposition MP pretty quickly. I am sure they could get Mr Al Hindy’s investigation going pretty quickly as well.
As Paul Simon said “you can call me Al….”

  37. Will somebody enlighten me on deportation of terrorists.Does the receiving country have to agree to take the terrorist and, if so, why would anyone want to accept a known terrorist?

  38. Why should we be putting up with threats from these bastards in our own living room? Oh, I forgot, the great multicultural experiment. Muslims should never have been allowed to immigrate and spread their foul beliefs. Rather than protecting it’s citizens, this government (with our money) has underwritten the immigration of increasing numbers of them. At the very least a moratorium should be put on immigration and mosque building. And those mosques where Saudi Wahabiism is taught should be leveled and the imams deported. Of course none of this would even be considered unless there was a terrorist attack with a lot of innocent deaths.
Meanwhile Muslims will probably be getting their own sharia law in Ontario.
Which all just goes to prove the biggest threat to the west isn’t terrorism. It’s liberalism.

  39. Please excuse me. I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m compensating for subendowment of the reproductive organ.
By the way, the Libranos own my soul.

  40. Don,
Lots of speculation about who you are and, since we don’t know if you are male or female, we don’t know what type of reproductive organ you have.
As to who you are, my guess is you’re a female!

  41. Make that downtown “Metro-sexual” (ie. Toronto red liberal/ndp/socialist nutbar)

  42. To be frank, I’m a pre-op she-male. I can’t wait to have my little dinky sliced off. You may have seen me in one of the pride parades.

  43. It may not be left up to you what happens to your dinky, don old shoe. The matter may be taken out of your hands.
And no, that’s not a threat. I have absolutely no intention of climbing out of my wheelchair here in the terminal ward and going after don, whoever he might be and wherever he might live. That won’t stop don from putting on a great show of terror, of course, but Kate might bear it in mind.
