Any religion that can brainwash it’s followers into killing outsiders does not belong in this country, ( and all of the flakes in Ottawa who say otherwise, or do nothing about it, will be held responsible for their lack of action.)

Ah, yes. It’s so human to be searching for “meaning”. The meaning of life. “What’s the meaning of this?!” Etc. etc.
Youth in particular want to get answers. And often they are unable to tell the difference between the truth and lies of all sorts which come with varying intents. They, being human, do have a tendency towards belonging, be it to family, to friends, to gangs, to religion, etc. And it is from these social entities to which they may belong that they receive some “answers”. Unfortunately, while some answers are based on truth and good intentions, some are malicious lies designed to, perhaps, exploit the youth somehow. This is what is happening when we hear of evil Imams preaching false Islamic doctrines to youth, teaching them to hate and kill those who the Imams want to harm for illegitimate, evil reasons.
This is the root cause of terrorism. Yes, it is, this dishonest, malicious, evil indoctrination of youth with a view to transforming them, someday, into human cruise missiles. This is what must be halted in order to halt terrorism. I submit that the way to do this with the fewest lives lost is for the good Muslims of the world to take responsibility for their own religion and own people and cleanse it of those evildoers who have hijacked Islam to use as the vehicle to do the Devil’s horrible work.

Maz2, I saw that on Bourque, too. Too bad the links were only in French, which means it’d have taken me quite a while to read them. Yes, I understand French, but nowhere near as well as English, unfortunately, so it is a little inconvenient. Even a lady I worked with in the fed gov’t, a Francophone bilingual of Acadian heritage, once complained about having to do the emails in both languages. She said the French took too damn long! Funny! But I digress.
Hmm. The stuff said by the new GG and her hubby, if uttered by a Conservative MP, would lead to a firestorm and the disciplining of the MP. I bet there’ll be no MSM outrage whatsoever with these people. For me, their words make me begin to believe that, yes, the GG and hubby are separatists, and that’s unacceptable. It could turn out that PMPM’s appointment of Mme Jean will be the biggest screw-up of his political career. Imagine if a Tory PM had done what he did. No doubt the MSM would make a big deal of his stupid error. But I’m not holding my breath: looks like people are already starting to forget Adscam, unless the poll was falsified to make Paulie look good? It’s possible in such an atmosphere of corruption, crime and cronyism and involving so many millions, dare I say billions, of dollars.

Too many damn polls can only mean the Librano$ are looking to call an early election while we’re all on automatic pilot. CTV is reporting Harper’s chief of staff split. Can anybody remember his name? This is apropos of absolutely nothing here, but I can’t remember who this person is, and I admit, the rise in polling is a tad disconcerting. Of note is that the personal donations to the Tories is way up, meaning the same old bunch of corporate and special interest parasites have been shovelling money the Librano$ way.

Here in the UK, we’re getting a timely lesson in the essential philosophical differences between Islam and Christianity.
“The Da Vinci Code,” is being made into a movie starring Tom Hanks. They’re currently filming at Lincoln Cathedral. The cathedral is standing in for Westminster Abbey because the Dean there told them to go pound salt (Good for him).
The Dean at Lincoln was evidently made an offer he couldn’t refuse, something like $100,000 for the use of the cathedral, so he said come on in and film away (Good for him – the upkeep on a historic cathedral is considerable these days).
Anyway, not everyone is happy about the “Da Vinci Code.” Certainly not the Roman Catholic Church.
