My hopes of returning home to find daffodils poking their heads up in my garden have been cruelly dashed.
Taken on the last leg of the trip home yesterday, at various locations between “Saskatchewan’s Blizzard Capital” Kenaston and Delisle.

It’s great to see pictures of the homeland! I did a double-take on the first one because that set of trees could have been parents’ farm.
Out here in Toronto they’ve got all these darn buildings in the way so its hard to remember what the sky looks like.
I remember in a book “Between Friends” about life along the US/Canadian border of a statement by a retired Saskatchewan farmer living in BC. This has stayed with me all these years:
“…mountains are nice, but they sure do block the view…”
