Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

That brought back good memories, from a time when men were men, and camels were worried!
From the take off on Beau Geste, foreign legionnaires with speech impediments, spies, suicide squaddies with Brooklyn accents, and car/camel rental agencies, was there anyone who didn’t get stereotyped? Made me think of Sam von Schmam(sp?) the “Hessian without no aggression”.
In short, I think Looney Tunes were equal opportunity satirists.
Fond memories — loved it.
I see them making fun of overweight Americans with speech impediments.
and Im watching it in Canada. call the HRC, they are being opressed.
It’s interesting to see how a country with real constitutional guarantees views content that is much more “hateful” than any of Stein’s writings.

Just superb. The folks who made it didn’t miss any opportunity for a joke – General DeLivery, cranking the camel up to start it, etc.
