  8. Kind of puts that insanely huge ~$700 million of campaign spending into context and also reveals the need for the 1/2 hour infomercial.

    As to the mega spending on his own campaign, which has dwarfed combined spending on previous presidential campaigns, Barrack Hussein Obama reveals an undercurrent of desperation, when we are supposedly in a financial crisis. Unfortunately BHO simply has no sense of proportion, nor proper context, of the times in which he is speaking. This reveals a fundamental disconnect with the audience, other than the bread and circus aspect, which he does remarkably well.
    A little bit of meditation on Mark 8:36 would have prevented this unseemly display of spending in tough economic times.

    So much for the Rev. Wright “God Damn America” nonsense. Ain’t gonna happen, to Hell with that idea.
    I think the standard for some time has been “God BLESS America.”
    I gather that is why the US imprints the following on their currency:
    “IN GOD WE TRUST”
    But BHO pays in cash.
    Sometimes a dash of humility, goes a long long way.

    Because the war room of the McCain campaign is filled with quavering cowards who are afraid of Obama and O’s campaign which has zero compunction about calling every attack on The Mighty O an act of “racism” (express or implied).
    That’s why.  If it had been me in the War Room, I would’ve pounded that particular interview out the door about one minute after the campaign started, and f**k ’em if they can’t take a joke.  Retail politics is not for the faint of heart nor the PC crowd.

    A whole lot of Biblical scripture that I have heard and read over the years have come to mind in the past few weeks. I may not remember the exact quote(s), but some do come to mind, somewhat paraphrased.
    “The Devil can appear as an angel of light.” is one of them.
    Some passages describing the Anti-Christ and how the populace accepts him, but I don’t think Barack is him, but the descriptions do come to mind.
    But the lyric from Johnny Cash’s song “The Man comes around”,
    “multitudes marching to the big kettle drum” is somewhat appropriate.
    As with most elections it is always the case of voting for the lesser of the two evils. But in this case it appears that the soul of America might be at stake.

  15. Just got rid of a BHO Trojan. Took 3 hours to clean it out. I wonder how long America will take to heal after this guy makes mines an even deeper democratic the wound in the Republic Of the USA? After all where all still suffering the pangs of Jimmy “Rabbit kill” Carters 4 years from hell.
    Comparing our own virus of Trudeauopia with the carnage to democracy, of that personality cult. Its taken 40 years to even begin to scrub the Nation of the taint. This Uber Socialist will try to enslaves them threw government programs. That they will only see a miniscule amount of tax monies go to while the bureaucracy feasts on the rest, with the cream going to the top. That’s if he wins. Personally I think it will be a McCain landslide in revolt of the media. Its my prayer anyway.

  17. I do think that Biblical prophecy can help us understand these times — but to be accurate, the popular notion of “antichrist” is a misreading of different passages. We should be on the lookout for the spirit of antichrist, an eruption of demons from the abyss of the bottomless pit, and the general ascendancy of satanic influences that include deception of the unwary.
    If Obama is not a prince of this movement, then he is deceiving me in a different way than I perceive that he is deceiving America’s progressive and liberal voters.
    However, he is but one of many, we have them on our side of the border too, and they have been in general more successful here than in America up until this year.
    A very dark time will follow if he succeeds in being elected, on nothing more than illusion and vague reference to “oppression” that is actually better described as “personal irresponsibility” and which is what got America into the mess that he proposes to save it from. This is very much like calling the arsonist to put out the fire.

    Maybe that explains that look on Michelle’s face of “I can’t believe this is happening,” while trying to put on a good show for the cameras.
