  1. Lordy Lordy, look who’s Lord-y.
Here’s Nobel Prize nominee Julian Assange:
“1,300 people were eventually killed, and 350,000 were displaced. That was a result of our leak. On the other hand, the Kenyan people had a right to that information and 40,000 children a year die of malaria in Kenya…”

  2. Did anyone else catch the three US senators Larry Curly and Moe on Greta tonight? Its no wonder the US is in the trouble it is in. According to them the cause of revolution in the Arab world is Facebook and Twitter. I guess the Persians are different cause they had their revolution before Facebook and Twitter.

  3. You might want to take a look at Climate Audit where the lead author of the O’Donnell et al paper reponds to Eric Steigs rebuttal over on RC.

to boil it down Ryan O after disemboweling Dr. Steig with a rusty spork, left his bleeding corpse on the Blogosphere floor. It turns out that Dr. Steig was that Dr. Steig admitted to Ryan O that he was Reviewer A, the one that caused the 88 page review. What frosted Ryan was that all of Dr. Steig’s “criticisms” of the published paper were answered in the review process, including where Dr. Steig wanted Ryan to use a different method then the original one they used. So they did and re wrote their paper. Now Steig criticizes them for using the method that he wanted and says the method they originally used would have been a better method.

  4. Seems Micheal Moore has had a change of mind:

dont feel too badly grey, numerous posting I make here at right wing headquarters vanish *after* being posted. apparently hypocrisy is a touchy subject around conservatists.

  8. “Anywhere in the world that social psychologists see women or minorities underrepresented by a factor of two or three, our minds jump to discrimination as the explanation,” said Dr. Haidt, who called himself a longtime liberal turned centrist. “But when we find out that conservatives are underrepresented among us by a factor of more than 100, suddenly everyone finds it quite easy to generate alternate explanations.”

BC Liberal’s don’t even have a leader yet and their are up to their same old dirty gams.
Cat signed up, to be able to vote in leadership race.
Now, the BC Liberals said they will not release the cats information, to protect the cats identity! What is going on in this country? They think that we should trust them again? I don’t think so…………….

  10. MaryM, so by how much did the BC Liberal party’s IQ go up with this latest membership addition?

Sit beagle sit! My post was not of the vanishing sort, I was notified it needed confirmation. Vive la difference. Also I do not find this flaw of hypocrisy to be specific to Conservatives. You should try posting a dissenting opinion at rabble…..sheesh those folks have their behinds so tight around their heads they can view and document the slow growth of their very own haemorrhoids.

  12. I never thought I’d ever see a headline like this at the CBC website –
    http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2011/02/04/f-vp-kinsman.html
“Who said democracy can’t work in the Arab world?”
As I recall it was every Democrat/Liberal and every anti-George Bush elitist in the world that were saying exactly that when the US/UK led the invasion of Iraq to get rid of Saddam and let those poor souls have a chance at a living in democratic country.
There is still a ways to go to have lasting democracies in the ME but seeing the historical headline ‘George Bush Father of ME Democracy’ would be hilarious and satisfying to no end.
Oh man, the irony of it all.
