Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Good one, Cjunk. Thanks.
Quite a man and a remarkable story.
I was just given that book by a friend last Wed,,,
She said you won’t be able to put it down, as she finished it in four days.
She wouldn’t tell me anything about it except to say,,,,,,you just won’t believe it.
Then you, (Cjunk) posted this, and the clips.
I’ve changed some plans for the weekend to make the time to read it.
I just can’t believe the timing of this post!
Thanks Cjunk
G: I posted this because my wife is reading the book and won’t stop with the running commentary … I won’t even have to read it.
LOL…SDA delivers Coles notes.
WOW!
Can’t wait to read this.
Thanks Cjunk.
Thanks Cjunk. Inspiring.
Wow, good and inspiring story. One wonders how many more of these stories are out there and the bigger question, why don’t we know about them?
Sad to think a generation of these fine folk are going to be passed in the name of political correctness.
Glad to see that forgiveness is attainable.
Unbroken is a wonderful book. It is a great and horrible story at the same time.
Finished the book last month. An absolutely gripping and gut wrenching life story. Zamperini defines tenacity.
