Son of Pierre

The Liberals say “Yes!” to human smuggling:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s call for opposition politicians to back his plan to crack down on human smuggling is being met with a flat ‘no’.

“No amount of photo ops by the PM will make me – or any other Liberal MP – vote for a bill that is ineffective, unconstitutional, and just plain wrong,” Liberal immigration critic Justin Trudeau told QMI Agency.

NDP MP Olivia Chow chimed in with this fragment of logic:

“I thought the PM Harper was concerned about the economic well being of Canadians, and (bill) C-49 will not add a single penny to seniors’ pension.”

(CORRECTION: The first version of this post incorrectly stated that Justin Trudeau, and not Olivia Chow, made the latter statement. My apologies. The attribution is now correct.)

  1. Very good, Justin. The bill also does nothing about legalizing unicorn ranching or naming Coffee Crisp the national chocolate bar.
    Idiot.

  2. Sneior’s pensions, and Bill c-49, both mutually exclusive issues. Apparently, on young Justin’s planet, it is impossible to chew bubble gum and walk at the same time.
    I echo Yukon Gold’s comment –
    IDIOT.

  3. When one has an open mind…your brains ten d to spi ll out and this make s it ver y diff i cult to co nnect th e dot s.

  4. The issue that repeatedly crosses my mind and creases my brow is the fact that there are people in this country who would actually listen to little Justin and the Libs and give them their vote. What the hell is wrong with them?

  5. I think this qualifies as one of those WTF moments, according to the current vernacular.
Remember this is the mighty intellect that opened his father’s eulogy with a quote from the Bard, “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears.” It’s only too bad he didn’t also use the subsequent line which read, “I come to bury Caesar, not praise him.”
I’m sure all of the legal training he received during his B.A. and B.Ed. years qualifies him to make the determination the bill in question is unconstitutional./sarc
I simply cannot suffer this fool’s idiocy. This country has seen enough of the Trudeau family, thank you very much. Go away, Justin.

  6. Wow. I mean…wow.
Well, at least we know Maggie was his mother. Pierre’s cunning gene must be recessive.
Although on further consideration, it’s really self-preservational…gotta protect the Liberal voting base, I guess.

  7. Make no mistake, the libs are just waiting in the weeds to put this lightweight forward as the saviour of both the libs AND the country… you know, bright, young and able to pull the ‘country together’ so we can all have warm feelings about Quebec and their hijacking our tax dollars again.
What’s that I feel? Rain? No, that’s Quebec pissing on our collective shoe again. With Justin aiming the nozel.( so to speak! 🙂 )

  8. I read somewhere he was arrested for riding a motorcycle. Apparently the wind blowing between his ears sounds like a siren. Good thing he’s got Daddy’s name ’cause Mommy’s brains aint standing him in good stead.

  9. Those people that advocate for the entry into Canada of those that are on the Terrorist List, those that hate Canada or even those that think they can just show up at the border and say Refugeeeee – I want medical, dental, a place to live and food to eat, are in fact the enemies of Canada. Seems to me that if you press them even a little, they even admit it.

  10. This childish knee-jerk reaction suggests one or two things: that the Liberals will take an assumed naive voter base, or that they really don’t care about people. Had they put the bill forward, it would be the most moral bill to support.

  11. Trudeau’s utterly useless son (like father, like son), reminds me of a bad dream. You wake up thinking “Thank God that’s over”, only to discover that reality is hardly any different than your bad dream.
Fortunately, the son will only ever be a bit player, and Canada is the better for it. The little prick does have some use – he serves to constantly reminds us of what a son of a bitch his father was, which is helpful in ensuring Canada moves forwards and not backwards.
Trudeau was and is despised by many, for good reason, and I often wonder why the son never seems to be able to pick up on this fact. Usually the next generation is a little more aware of how the previous generation in a family was perceived – after all they have history as their guide.
My own view is that I don’t think the son is particularly bright, hence he parrots his father word for word, view for view, belief for belief. He is a jester that has crawled out of the history books to both amuse and taunt us.

  12. That’s a helluva good idea. Coffee Crisps are highly underrated and a national chocolate bar would go a long way to strengthening the fabric of Canadian identity.

  13. Why would the Liberals -not- support boats full of brand new Liberal voters washing up on Canadian shores?
All we need to know about Justin Trudeau is conveyed by his choice of facial hair styles. He looks like the terrorist’s mask in V for Vendetta, and not in a good way.

  14. *
not nearly as amusing as ctv (accidentally?) running that clip of
ex-lib pm paul martin shaking gaddafi’s hand the other
    night.

  15. Was it Trudeau or Chow that made the statement about senior’s pensions? Potato/potawto I suppose. Either way, I disagree. Every undeserving “refugee” we turf back to “wherever” is thousands of dollars saved that could be given to our seniors, our military or other Canadians that need it.
The only money I’d like to see spent on the next boatload is the price of one shell across the bow to send them packing.

  16. Not that I have any love for Justin Trudeau, but if one were to read the article, the statement about the bill not doing anything for seniors was made by noted double dipper Olivia Chow.
I don’t know who I care for less, Trudeau or Chow, but the attribution should be correct.

  17. Boris, I want to speak up on behalf of the “Mars” bar! Distinctly Canadian, unless it isn’t,and one endorsed by B.C.’s own Nancy Greene!
The Liberals would NEVER turn away a boatload of potential voters,no matter if every one was proven to be a Tamil Tiger.

  18. KevinB, upon re-reading, you are correct. Olivia Chow is the non-sequitor queen du jour. Trudeau is merely a dork with a really bad beard/mustache combo.
dmorris, I think Tamil Tigers count double at election time. That’s a rule, isn’t it?

  19. The New Liberal Democratic Green Bloc party founding convention planning had better get down to business in a hurry once the debris from the upcoming election debacle gets swept aside. Let’s see, Justin for the presidential candidate slot, Bob Rae for the PM slot, Iggy rewarded with the foreign office, Dizzy Lizzy and Duceppe co-chairs of the Ministry of Silly Walks (Quebec expulsion if necessary, but not necessarily separation).

  20. No way dmorris – Coffee Crisps all the way, what you say is heresy!
Not only are Coffee Crisps Canadian, but they are not explicitly intolerant of peanuts (like the bigoted Mars hegemony) instead preferring an ambiguous passive potentiality of inclusiveness instead – a core Canadian value.
And find me another chocolate bar that makes a nice light snack, bitch.

  21. No wonder these folks have groupies or “home boys”. They couldn’t survive five minutes by themselves in the real World. Justine has been cocooned from birth , carefully shielded from the varieties of the Truth of our existence on this Earth.
It echo’s well this weakness, every time they open their yaps.
    JMO

  22. Any discussion of the sublime Coffee Crisp is to be held in hushed and reverential tones…why to do otherwise would be…..uncivilized!
COFFEE CRISP FOR …ER..well you know what I mean.

  23. Well I guess I have to amend my previous comment also:
Go for a nice skiing holiday already…with Olivia Chow!

  24. Strippers and whores are essential to a corrupt Liberal economy, if they can’t take pay-offs to get them in the front door like they did when they were in power, then crooked Liberals must find another way to exploit them.

  25. Even the proposed bill does not go far enough. It calls for the people who arrive in this manner to be held for up to a year while their eligibility is checked. But they should be considered automatically “ineligible” and deported.
Some would say that the ships should not be allowed to dock in Canada — the problem there is that we have no convenient nearby locations as does Australia with remote Christmas Island, so it’s either sink or land for us. I guess even the conservative base would balk at sinking, so the best idea for shipload number one is a speedy deportation (any cash on hand should be taken away for expenses). After that, perhaps the practice would come to a natural end.

  26. what would the progeny be if m. turdeau were to boink ms chow?
    anti-Christ lite?
ah c’mon guys, am I still a ‘lefty’ now?
oh, eb: I will be watching to see if this post disappears down the rabbit hole like others of mine in the reader tips solicited by you.
heh heh heh. you should see the commentary on certain blogs about the connection betwixt ‘Christchurch’, ‘church’, ‘Christ’, and such related to events in NZ.

  27. Can’t seem to access the newspaper link for some reason. HTF did the moron Turdeau spawn get elected to parliament? He only seems to have a fraction of his mothers brains and the best thing for him to do would be to go on an extended back-country skiing holiday in the rockies.
At least he’s making very clear the lieberal strategy of importing lieberal voters by any means possible. Any further boatload of “refugees” should either have a single warning shot across their bow followed by a torpedo if they don’t turn around or be shipped to the northern tip of Ellesmere Island which has the advantage of not requiring fences to keep people confined. There the “refugees” can be put to work and maybe in 10 years or so they might be able to afford a one way ticket to their country of origin. We’ve been underutilizing our arctic resources and this would be an excellent initial project.

  28. PET Cemetery Report.
We agree with Taliban Jack’s Chow and say Liberal Ad$Cam MartinJr “was concerned about the economic well being of Canadians,”.
Da proof is da proof as Ad$Cam Chretien says.
Iggy’s Liberal Party embraced “mad dog*” Mohammedan Gaddafi.
“The Liberal government knew Gaddafi was unhinged when it started playing footsy with him.”
Visit our Liberal Ad$Cam MartinJr Grotto.
The Grotto >>> is where our official portrait of Liberal Ad$Cam MartinJr will hang.
    …-
    “Embracing Gaddafi was Canada’s shame”
“The Liberal government knew Gaddafi was unhinged when it started playing footsy with him. In 1999, economic sanctions were lifted after Libya made two suspects of the Lockerbie bombing available for trial and agreed to pay compensation to the victims’ families. By 2004, prime minister Paul Martin was in Libya breaking bread with the old pariah in his tent in the desert, while two camels mated noisily outside.
Mr. Martin tried to rationalize his visit to Tripoli, claiming it was about rewarding Gaddafi for a “fundamental shift in position” away from terror and toward the league of nations.
In reality, it was a trade mission to make the case for Canadian companies, just as Libya was getting ready to fling open its doors to foreign investment in its oil industry. The scramble for North African oil saw more than 40 companies flood into Libya, including BP, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell and Canada’s Petro-Can. As the oil industry flooded Libya with petro-dollars, the Gaddafi regime bought jet aircraft, machinery and wheat from Canada. SNC Lavalin, the Canadian engineering giant, has since been awarded a $450-million contract to develop part of a water system that will transport potable water from the southern Libyan desert to the Mediterranean coast. In trade terms, Mr. Martin’s gambit was a complete success — bilateral trade has risen from zero in 2006 to nearly $300-million.
Canada and other Western countries, including (unforgivably) Britain, ignored the fact that the man whose government was reaping the benefits of all this commerce once ordered that a bomb be put on a PanAm airliner that blew up over Lockerbie — still the worst act of mass murder in British history.
Mr. Martin claimed he understood what had happened in the past but I don’t think he did. If he had, he wouldn’t have sat grinning in Gaddafi’s tent without wanting to send him to meet his maker.
Anyone who was in south-west Scotland the night Flight 103 came down, as I was, could tell him what really happened. Two hundred and seventy people were murdered, including two Canadians and 11 on the ground in Lockerbie. My late father, the director of the local water utility, drove through the still-smouldering town the next morning and watched young soldiers pick body parts off the street. I went home in 1998 for the 10th anniversary of the disaster and found many people still fighting demons. Bill Parr, a man who had worked with my father but who was afflicted by nightmares for years afterward, told me how he’d found three seats in which two young girls and a man were wrapped around one another. The girls had their eyes wide open and their fingers were tightly crossed. What did we expect from someone capable of that kind of atrocity?”

    *H/T Ronald Reagan.

  29. Trudeau is a perfect symbol for the new Liberal Party. Famous name but empty inside
We do not need another Trudeau
We have not finished paying for the last one

  30. Coffee Crisp the national chocolate bar?? I didn’t get that memo. I always thought it was Smarties or maybe Caramilk.

  31. Link isn’t working for me.
Princess Justine would have to support Liberal voters being brought to Canada that way until they can get power back and openly bring more Liberal voters in.
I’m thinking that perhaps the human smuggler route is needed so that even after the Libs steal power again, those voters won’t wander off when they see the true face of the LPC and want to change their vote.

  32. I was once on a panel with Olivia Chow.
In the intellect and knowledge department, she’s definitely one chopstick short of a pair.

  33. Can some lefty troll please come on and declare that Ms. Chow was misquoted or that her comments were taken out of context? This statement was so mind-numbingly stupid that it appears to have been taken from a Monty Python script. The fact that Ms. Chow holds a seat in parliament is indeed a testament to the sad state of affairs in Ottawa and speaks volumes on the intelligence of those that elected her.
Her silly comment brings to mind the age-old question of “Do you walk to work or take your lunch?”

  34. Cue, the famous rabbit chumping on a carrot:
“Of course ya know, THIS means war!”
Okey Doeky, Stephen…Time to add the poison pill(s) in the upcoming budget.
Time for an election. Canadians are ready for a majority Conservative Gov and they want a break from ready/hearing about the troika coalition of pompous lefty fouls who are still stuck in a 60’s-70’s time warp…Socks & sandles and all.

  35. NO! Not the Mars bar, stay away from Mars!
Else, we’ll have more aggrieved First Martians to deal with. And don’t forget about the Space Mexicans and Plutostinians who seem to think they’ve a claim to Mars as well.

  36. The civil war in Sri Lanka has been over for two years, in fact even before it was over Canadian Tamil refugees were going back to Sri Lanka on vacation!
Do the Libs and Dippers never keep up with the news? I guess not — they must have special subscription arrangements with the newspapers to receive home delivery of issues dated 10 years or earlier. In other words, the Libs and Dippers won’t find out that the civil war in Sri Lanka has been terminated until 2019!
Meanwhile, the people coming in boats are NOT war refugees anymore. And the formerly “persecuted” Tamil suicide bombers (and assassins of Indira Ghandi) now enjoying Canadian citizenship continue to safely vacation in Sri Lanka — or even live there most of the time using Canadian citizenship as a “passport of convenience” — without fear of reprisal from the government.
And the Dippers and Libs don’t see a contradiction between that reality and the current human smuggling operations which are purely a criminal commercial enterprise?

  37. Publicly the leftards keep stepping in dog shite, they are so out of touch with the people it’s gob smacking. The public want a law and order agenda, they want illegals sent back to whence they came and that includes the boat people, they want immigrants that integrate not the current hyphenated group they we’ve been accepting for two decades. Keep up the good work Liberals everytime you insult Harper for trying to deal with illigal immigrants you insult the majority in this nation.

  38. Justin is a fool. I listened to him a while back saying that the conservatives are trying to create a “two-tier” immigration system. I gasped, not the dreaded “two-tier” system, then realized that Maggie’s boy was against the separation of legal and illegal immigrants.

I’m all for giving a help to those who are disadvantaged, but we shouldn’t be giving them a voice in parliament.
