  1. This is 100% on time-line. Couple more weeks of protests, some petty vandalism, maybe a minor assault or three, and that will be all she wrote. Game over, unions go bye bye.
Because thugs -always- back down when their target refuses to be intimidated. Its one of the things that makes them thugs.

  2. Pathetic, spoiled sissies. So far removed from what a private sector worker has to do for a living.

  3. It’s about time they cleared these “patriots” out of the House.
Was starting to wonder if the Yanks were going to have their own little Caledonia.

  4. The big unions have lost more than just Minnesota , as Dick Morris explained last night on Fox.
His point was the unions targeted Minnesota with everything they had , and while this was going on Ohio brought in even more sweeping legislation , and the unions don’t have enough manpower to cover all the states where similar legislation is pending.

  5. Spoiled is exactly the problem. You see this time ant time again. Like children, those who are spoiled and indulged are the first to resort to temper tantrums when they hear the word “No” or “Share” – Wisconsin teachers, British university student rioters, Quebec extortionists, Islamists.

    Reminds me of the joke:
How many OPP officers does it take to clear a native protest?
    No one knows…

  7. Time to bring in the National Guard for a little pest control. Speaking of pests – the ‘Badger 14’? We don’t need no stinking badgers.

  8. Wy did they not deploy the guys with the helmets, shields, and batons?
A little tear gas and cranial percussion practice would have mopped up those cowards in no time.
Curious that this was not used.

  9. But this can not be…President Obama has asked the nation to respect others: a new civility moment! Instead, we must just be having a WTF (win the future) moment! I’m confused and don’t know what to think: where in the world is Alex when you need him?

  10. So I presume it’s now OK if the TEA party were to storm the WH and occupy it. I’m assuming that mass firings of WI police are taking place now as they are guilty of some rather severe dereliction of duty.

  11. A little tear gas and cranial percussion practice would have mopped up those cowards in no time.
You know they wouldn’t have to get that radical. Just pipe in something intolerable through the sound system – right-wing talk radio, gospel music/sermons, GW Bush or Palin speeches, etc. We all know that the last thing a progressive wants to hear is an alternative opinion. There would be a stampede of unionistas streaming out of all available exits.
Related to this is the “mosquito” machine that, supposedly, disperses rowdy young people. Something to keep in mind before planning the next anarchist get-together.

  12. So it was about busting the union and not about balancing the budget afterall. Good you’ve owned up. Oh wait . . . .

  13. Balancing the budget and “busting” the stranglehold on taxpayers by the public employee unions are tied together.

  14. Gun meet foot. These daily displays of rudeness and thuggery from these pampered bullies is doing nothing for their cause. I remember the PS strike in Ottawa in the nineties. You couldn’t go for a coffee without crossing a snarling picket line. My admiration for the not so civil service ended then. We need someone up here who has the same type of stones as Gov. Walker.

  15. “So it was about busting the union”
Watch the video. The union is busting itself.
It is necessary to limit the union’s collective bargaining power to balance the budget, not just now, but in the future. You can call it “union busting” and punch the air if it gives you a buzz and distances the rather bleak, mundane reality of the situation.

Indeed that makes a lot of sense!
Like at the end of the movie ‘Mars attacks!’ when the secret to rid the planet of pesky aliens turns out to be the massively amplified mellifluous tonal ministrations of Engelbert Humperdinck.
    Marvelous idea!

  17. Well it is nice to see that, at least in Wisconsin, the police are doing what they are sworn to do. Have seen them out here in B.C. (and of course Ont.) let their union politics, or just political correctness, prevent them from doing what needs to be done.

  18. massively amplified mellifluous tonal ministrations of Engelbert Humperdinck.
I’m pretty sure it was Slim Whitman, the song was “Indian Love Call”.

  19. Jess – are you suggesting that George Soros deployed police to pick on the civil servants of Wisconsin? Do you suppose we could get him to do the same for the Civil service out here in British Columbia? Because that may be the only way to dislodge them from their blood-sucking perch atop the salaried workers of the province.

  20. You cowards and wimps stand sucking your thumbs as billionaires deploy the police to crack down on working people.
-1) the issue was settled and it was time to turn the stink out of the Wisconsin State capitol building
-2) if those freaks had been working people they would have been at their jobs instead of stinking up the premises
-3) I’m no traitor when I approve of cops rousting out commie unionist pigs throwing a tantrum over getting cut off from the collective tax trough
-4) the thumb sucking is pure projection on your part, kiddo. When will you grow out of it?

  21. There was no point in using gas or truncheons. Why give them sympathy? It would give the beautiful tour of Illinois goers a reason for exiting the State.
This way the migrants and the haters get dragged in different directions. No critical mass..no victory, no blood..no glory.
Though I would like to see them cooled off with a fire hose…outside the building.

  22. Please ignore Jess whose comments are becoming more inane as time goes on. It is obviously a ploy to yank your chain … nothing more, nothing less.
The “running dogs of imperialism” type of comments are tedious at best.

  23. “In my personal opinion Liberals may be more educated, fair and balanced than conservatives.”
“the educated so-called elite in this country is too small a percentage of the population”
    “I mean it’s scary”

  24. Jess,
Even if our cousins down south followed the sage Mr. Moore’s advice and took all the money from the very rich, by most estimates that would amount to about 1.3 trillion. This is a little short of the US deficit which is 1.6 trillion.
So, here is how it goes. We rob honest people of their money and stave off bankruptcy for perhaps a year?
What annoys me about this debate is that everyone is told to ‘share the wealth’ but when they actually have to do so, they react as the folks in the video.
Screw ’em. I am sick and tired of hearing what a wonderful job our PS is doing. If we all were not doing such a great job and paying our taxes you wouldn’t have a job. So button it and share the pain with the rest of us.

  25. “Please ignore Jess whose comments are becoming more inane as time goes on.”
More like repetitive. It made the same comment verbatim a couple of threads ago. Only a few arrows in that quiver.

  26. I’m so glad these people shoot themselves in the foot. Nothing anyone here says can really illustrate the leftist mindset of total idiocy and anarchy (coupled with a complete lack of decorum and sense of consequence) than they do.
Bravo, idiots. Thank you for being yourselves. Thank you for being so stupid that I can relax at night knowing everything I believe is right merely on the virtue of your being total morons.

  27. Where are the stun guns???
We pay for them out of public money yet they never use them when needed.

  28. Osumashi: “I can relax at night knowing everything I believe is right merely on the virtue of your being total morons.”
Thank-you. Will use this statement in my next class on ideology, as an example of an enunciation of pure ideology. In my view, what separates ideology from belief is the fantasy of self-evidence. My view is so incontrovertible, so natural, so obvious that it needn’t and substantiation, for it substantiates itself to any “reasonable” person, and by reasonable here we mean anyone who shares my ideology.
But you do put it so beautifully and pithily. Firstly, everything you believe is RIGHT. Man, once again, I wish I had the temerity and self-righteousness to move through the world with such assurance. I really do envy you conservatives, and fundamentalists of other stripes (including leftist ones) that ability to overcompensate for the holes in Truth with such assurances as “everything I believe is right”. Now do you mean, provisionally right at this very moment or everything you believe has been and always will be right and the Left makes it so??? And right on the basis that people I don’t like seem to hold differing views. since I don’t like them, they must be wrong and by extension I must be right, and right on everything.
No need to submit your any of your beliefs to any evidence, they’ve been either magically or self-evidently proven right by “idiocy” of the Left. Beautiful exposure of the conservative mind.

  29. Osumashi >
I’m jealous, you seem to be getting more trolls frothing and foaming lately.

  30. Remarkable restraint has been shown by Bill Stewart – only one word in CAPS!!!!
Any comment about your comrades Bill?

  31. Knight, I try not to fly in the face of public opinion but if Bill Stewart wishes to use my words to deflect the idiocy of HIS sophomoric posts, go ahead. One doesn’t even have to try to parse through the outrageously stupid things in leftist arguments. They just exist in a whirlpool of self-contradiction and childishness.

  32. Jess–
The people in control are in control because they won the election, something the unions failed to do. If they want it different, they have to do better. Most people seem to have figured out that a union monopoly of the public sector is not good.

  33. As a member of the True Communist Party, I wish to disavow all connection to the Wisconsin Education Unions. As a true communist, I wish to take everything you have and give you back some of it. The Wisconson Education Unions want to take everything you have and then keep it all for themselves.A true communist simply cannot support such a position.
    Sarcasm off

  34. What a foul mouthed mob of thugs! I would not dream of sending any child of mine to a classroom to learn from ‘teachers’ exposing themselves as such selfish, emotionally unstable children in adult garb.
Adult citizens might have to show up to back the governor. These are dire times and all thoughtful freedom loving people must show up to back up people who have common sense and individual freedom on the front plate of priorities. If we, the people, do not fight for freedom we will lose it to thugs like those in the WI state legislature.
Canada has the Troika of Traitors lurking in the wings, threatening to make Canada a temp plate of this WI legislature – the Dipper/Liberano/blochead Troika will lay English Canada to waste to please the controlling force (evil Duceppe and his blocheads). Quebec elite are licking their chops, as I write.

  35. Just be glad there’s no accompanying Smell-o-vision, apparently after days of lefty occupation that place was getting pretty ripe….

“I would not dream of sending any child of mine to a classroom to learn from ‘teachers’…..”
It’s too bad parents don’t really have a choice anymore.
Well at least the “teachers” are enjoying a little of Obamba’s “Hope & Change”. Now they get to relive the 60’s all over again. “Down with the man, man”, “get your hands off me, hey, hey stoooop”.
Only – this time it’s their money that’s under attack – “bummer”.
