  12. One of the things the Republicans must do is require that only registered Republicans can vote in Republican primaries. The current situation allows anyone to vote in Republican primaries….letting the democrats select the Republican candidates…
    Then there is the MSM butting in….that’s how McCain got the nod….Palin caught them blindsided hence the PDS by the media…
    Generally the Democrats, much like Canada’s LIBRANOs, are the most adroit but most corrupt politicians. Their reaction to Republican candidates is easily read in reverse.
    The Democrats do not fear Romney, but Perry, Palin and Bachman have them wetting their linen.
    This campaign will feature the “hidden agenda” smear (much like getting accused of rape)….they know how well it worked for the LIBRANOs in Canada….Americans pay more attention to Canadian politics than y’all think. They likely believe it will work because it is novel in American politics…..while it is now a tired joke in Canadian politics.

  17. Perry is a RINO. He’s the ultimate chameleon man – he’ll be whatever is selling at the time. He’s silent on the politically correct legislating that made ex post facto law the law of the land. If he were concerned about the number of legitimate gun owners effected by retroactive criminalization he could have issued a gubernatorial pardon for the gun ban that involves ex post facto law. Also, his position on illegal immigration is totally unacceptable.

    A big cultural shift seems to be taking place in the Western world. Maybe it’s the demographic shift, maybe it’s the Obama collapse, maybe the debate is just coming full circle, but there is a change in the air….fresh air, fresh change.

  21. This will all cease when donors stop giving money to the DemocRat Party. We had the CEO of Starbucks come out with that memo this week, which was awesome. I doubt he’s a smaller-government Republican, but his boycott of political donations is the necessary other half of the Tea Party.
    The carrot needs a stick behind it, because politicians are j@ck@sses. While they will move toward things they want, they’ll move a lot quicker away from things they don’t want. Like personal poverty.
    Also, it wouldn’t suck if Hannity banned that beeatch from his show with considerable fanfare. While it is instructive to watch her bleat, it would be more instructive to watch her be unemployed after it. Actions must have -swift- consequences. Otherwise its just London rioters on TV, say whatever lie you want and nothing bad happens to you.
    I wanna see Something Bad happen to these media liars, and I mean Right The F- Now. A planetoid would be nice, I’ll settle for Chapter 11 or a perp walk.

    To that end, Mr. G, can you please provide a citation that Perry supports an open border policy? You really ought to cite sources for such claims.
    Also, if a 23-year old political connection is the only ‘skeleton,’ I’d suggest it doesn’t amount to much. People are entitled to change political philosophy over a period spanning nearly a quarter century.

    Case in point, Drudge headline right now, the Congressional Black Caucus is getting tired of Barry. Maxine Waters went to Detroit and asked a crowd of black people -permission- to go after Barry.
    Lemme say that agin’. Barry has lost Maxine freakin’ Waters. Barry has lost the Congressional BLACK Caucus.
    Come 2012, the Republicans could run the Ghost of Christmas Past and beat this guy like a bass drum. Its entirely possible he’s not going to get the Democratic Party nomination.
    BTW even nutjob Ron Paul couldn’t frig things up worse than what Barry’s doing. Lest I repeat myself, Barry’s lost the confidence of extreme DemocRat race hustler-ette Maxine Waters.

    Maybe. But Paul wouldn’t be the guy. His extreme foreign policy views, or views on practically anything not involving the economy would have independents, RINOS and likely some moderate conservative repubs either run for the hills, or abstain from voting, all of which would help obama.
    Paul is unelectable.
