  1. I think that in addition to reporting a handful of daily weather extremes from around the planet, they should also add this …
Meanwhile the other 99.9% of the planet is experiencing normal weather patterns and temperatures..
You know … the other side of the story.

  2. Chris Mathews ain’t he the loon whose leg tingles….??? I suspect a dog mistook him for a fire plug…..

  3. AGW or climate change has nothing to do with what the warmists are flogging. It is all about politics and the left thinks or thought that they had found a perfect way to bamboozle the gullible governments and their citizens, get more collectivist control and make a lot of money for a select few.

  4. There was a joke list of ways to annoy people. One of them was to make up weird computer lingo and see if people follow along so as to avoid looking foolish. I think the same thing could be done with the unscientific liberals who swear by Al Gore’s nonsense. Just to see what they do.
“I tell you, if the government doesn’t subvector the nectotrons in the Earth’s atmosphere, the climate will fall like a house of cards!”
    Give it a try.
Off topic but both sad and slightly sweet:

  5. Tree’s breath Co2 . Might as well blame AGW on oxygen. I’m sure thats in the next ban by these
recycled ex Hippies. You would thik the Jurno scandal & Manchester dump would have penetrated even their brains.
These are hampsters not people. Who’sonly goal is to run on the same treadmill, day by day.

Oh, hey, the TLA game! We used to do that a trade shows. You’d interrupt some sleazy booth salesman’s pitch by asking him if his product was (some random combination of three letters you just made up)-compliant. Keep tossing in random three-letter acronyms and see how long it takes him to admit he doesn’t know what you’re talking about.

  7. Daniel Ream; @ 7:39 were you the young fellow who followed the “wise old” purchasing type at the Trade Shows.
You know the only time both of you were ever able to come out of your cubicles to the real world of business.
Remember he was the old feller who sat in the second row of desks from the front of the room. Another twenty years and he would achieve the level of front row.
I think I can remember you. You were about half a foot behind him, trying to keep up, as he wisely proclaimed “let’s see if we can find a turkey for lunch”.
    Sometimes we sleazy types would buy youse types lunch so we could hear who the real decision makers were. You know the ones who moved quickly through the P.O. purchasing paperwork general office. Cheers;

  8. Late at night when the comments at SDA, Hot Air, and Ace are dead I always end up at Delinpole’s.
I’ve never commented there but the reading always fills the void.

  9. “I hate that even-handed, so-called objective journalism. You know, you can’t say something isn’t true if it’s true …”
As I recall, Canadian liberals were aghast when the powers that be (the CRTC) decided that it wasn’t necessary for media outlets to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth the whole time. The libs thought conservative-leaning outlets like Sun News would be sure to fail to do it. Looks like it was one of their own they should have been worrying about.

  10. There’s no doubt that the republican party is anti science. When all of the serious republican presidential contenders admit that they think evolution is a load of bunk, it’s pretty clear that in the republican ranks ideology trumps science. Even worse, 70% of republicans agree with them! How can they expect to be taken seriously on climate change when they can’t even come to grips with evolution?

  11. “No really they’re stupid because they’re not interested in facts. They just want to construct their pretty little narrative about the world, regardless of whether or not it has any bearing on reality. And then they want to dump it on us. And ruin our lives. So not just stupid but evil too.”
I go with the latter conclusion – they’re evil. Case in point; Mathews insisting climate denial is run by big corporate interests, when he himself is a corporate flunky schilling a corporate agenda. Gotta be some kind of hell spawn to live with all that hypocritical toxicity.

  12. Although I agree with the premise, I don’t think it is fail to paint all leftists as idiots based on Chris Matthews’ verbal spewage. That guy is in a category all his own (with exception of Keith Olbermann).
