10. The way to win the war with islam, and that it what it is, is to not let them live here. I don’t give a crap what they do to each other and as long as we don’t let them live here they are no threat to us. Unfortunatly ther is some segment of our leadership that appears to want to get as many as they can to immirate here. As the enablers of our enemies, they are our real enemies.

    – this is a more modern day version of APPEASEMENT at Taxpayer expense until NATO can vacate that barren awful place.

He forecast that Obama, as an anti-imperialist, would try to find a way to get a tie (because the US winning would be too imperial, you see). Obama doesn’t want the Taliban to win and he can’t afford the political fallout of a major loss there, so has to walk the fine line of keeping troops as levels below those that would make victory possible, and keeping the leadership of the military from being able to be really effective (ie here’s more troops, now you have one year and we’re out so that the locals won’t come to support you the way the populace of Iraq eventually did).

20. The Liberal menatality of ‘befriend all and they will love you’ reads like ‘once upon a time’.
    There is no peace with those determined with your demise. A brutal sweep should have followed that bombing and a policy of no peace talks, until the Taliban unconditionally surrender. A pacifist opposition to those uneducationed / savage bullies, will just make you the next victim that doesn’t fight back.
    How are we to show the people to stand up for freedoms and the perks of our system, when we allow victimizing ourselves. By thinking the enemy has a code of conduct?
