CONTRARY TO what several leading commentators have argued since the onset of the Syrian popular rebellion against Assad, Hamas has not been seriously damaged by the events. True, its leaders are looking for a new place to station their headquarters. But there is no law that requires terrorist organizations to have one central office. The families of Hamas’s leadership have decamped to Jordan. Hamas leaders have close relations with the Qataris – who remain major funders – as well as with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and the Sudanese regime.
In addition to these state supporters, through its relations with Turkey and Fatah, Hamas has Washington as well. To understand how Washington acts as Hamas’s protector, it is necessary to consider not only the corrosive impact of Washington’s relations with Turkey, but also the nature of the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.

Say, what’s AliBama’s middle name, again? Funny, that.
Heads I win, tails you lose!!
In either case, the policy is to sink Israel’s boat.
The choice for Israel is approximately the following:
1. Open up the seacocks and scuttle your own ship.
2. We will provide your aggressors with torpedos to ensure your demise.
With ‘friends’ like these who needs enemies?
Or as is said, “Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.”

“In a recent interview with Time magazine, Obama listed Erdogan as one of the key foreign leaders with whom he has formed a friendship based on trust.”
You have got to be joking. If Obama dreams that anyone in the Middle East ,except Israel,is our ally,or can be trusted,he must be abysmally ignorant of history.
Or maybe he’s never forgotten that his original religion was Islam.
Americas bringing a heavy judgment to itself.
No wonder They are stuck with Obama.
Not pointing fingers because we are next if we don’t throw out the Idols of progressivism. With its fetish for child sacrifice. A church that stands for nothing. A political class living in a glass bubble.
Mean while getting rid of false prophets like David Suzuki & his ilk.
We have to make this Nation decent again. The only reason we have a pause, is because we side with Israel.
That covers a lot of sin.
I’ve seen whiter folks than “Gentleman” Jim – but not many.

Gallup state numbers predict huge Obama loss
With foreign policy being such a ‘resounding success’ the Obama-Nation(tm) should have some fun chewing these numbers over….
Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidential approval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue very worried. If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215.
Gallup adds:
Overall, Obama averaged 44% job approval in his third year in office, down from 47% in his second year. His approval rating declined from 2010 to 2011 in most states, with Wyoming, Connecticut, and Maine showing a marginal increase, and Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Jersey, Arizona, West Virginia, Michigan, and Georgia showing declines of less than a full percentage point. The greatest declines were in Hawaii, South Dakota, Nebraska, and New Mexico.
Look like Obambi will need another billion in his re-election bid…
Cheers

Obama is no friend to Israel. The second he declared he would meet Iran without pre-conditions should have been a dreadful premonition of things to come and should have been a reason not to vote him into office.

Today Iran sent him a nice little pink model spy-drone, bet he didn’t see that coming in 2009.

Simple logic would indicate that even removing the left/right thing and racism…..rising fuel/energy prices, blocking resource/jobs, deficit spending off the scale, crashed housing prices, and high unemployment makes reelection of an incumbent unlikely.
Given the “american idol” mentality of a sizable portion of the voters, nothing is certain but there are signs that voter apathy favours “anybody but Maobama”. Record “black” and youth vote showed a record turnout in 2008 but had evaporated for 2010…..
Oz, I saw that article.
Who would attempt that with a president who had a spine?
others don’t think so…
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/obamas-nobel-peace-prize-win-leads-to-formal-investigation-of-award/
STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) — Nobel Peace Prize officials were facing a formal inquiry over accusations they have drifted away from the prize’s original selection criteria by choosing such winners as President Barack Obama, as the nomination deadline for the 2012 awards closed Wednesday.
The investigation comes after persistent complaints by a Norwegian peace researcher that the original purpose of the prize was to diminish the role of military power in international relations.
If the Stockholm County Administrative Board, which supervises foundations in Sweden’s capital, finds that prize founder Alfred Nobel’s will is not being honored, it has the authority to suspend award decisions going back three years – though that would be unlikely and unprecedented, said Mikael Wiman, a legal expert working for the county.
Obama won in 2009, Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo won in 2010, and last year the award was split between Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Liberian activist Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman of Yemen.
Aside from the Obama issue, it’s not Hamas that’s been hampered by the Syrian ‘civil war’ but rather Hezbollah, who are almost entirely dependant on Syria’s support.
wow heres something obama did: he made the candian military the bitch of america:Canada, U.S. agree to use each other’s troops in civil emergencies
Canada and the U.S. have signed an agreement that paves the way for the militaries from either nation to send troops across each other’s borders during an emergency, but some are questioning why the Harper government has kept silent on the deal.
I think the way you really describe this is “harper made the US govenemnt the commander of canadian land force onm the north american continent….to go along with our current control of your navy
