I guess they couldn’t find a phone booth…
And in a similar vein,Richard Madden from ctv tweeted pic from the HUGE crowd at the RoboRally on Parl Hill today…………… all 12 people!
Looks like 1%.
Kind of sad. All that’s left is for Carol Burnett to come out in her maids outfit, mop and pail and sing a melancholy song.
Packed!
major apathy sets in.
*exactly* what the boyz at the very top wanted and knew would happen.
that’s where defeat starts; chronic widespread apathy. for an example see: ‘USA, economy, future’.
Is that Paige Kezima w-a-y down in the front row?
Too much work for them to occupy that place….
That looked a lot like a meeting of anarchists.
Too funny – those that went were promised free coffee by a Robocall maybe?
NP has just announced that poutine is turning themselves in tomorrow.. sorry about going of topic kate..
They were probably informed they couldn’t set up tents or take a crap in the middle of the floor. The even would then hold very little interest to the OWS types.
“Lonely, I’m Mr Lonely,
I have nobody for my own,
I’m so lonely…”
during the meanwhile , back in Canaduh, CBCpravda reports that 300 people protest robocalls in Winnepeg, all other news agencies estimate 50. and polls are unchanged, CPC 37, dippers 27 and lieberals 23
no change , people are tired of the lies CBC
Mr. Harper Tear down the CBC
CBCpravda reports that 300 people protest robocalls in Winnipeg, all other news agencies estimate 50.
Well yes of course … there were 50 protestors and 250 CBC crew. ☺
Anyway…that SXSW ‘occupy’ session is just pathetic. Just like the actual “occupy” events.
$500/head??? Maybe their mommies said they had to get a job,as they weren’t paying?
Ah, so that’s the 99% …
If it was a FREE event with FREE food and FREE accomodation they would’ve attracted people to come out. But we all know that when it comes to pretty much anything the left does they will not pay their own way. The few that showed up and paid their own way are the minority amongst the left. The majority of them are parasitic filth who resent and envy anyone who has more than them which is pretty much anyone with a job, even a low pay minimum wage gig.
STAMPEEEEEDE!
I keep telling ya, Occupy are conspicuous by their vacancy. Here’s da proof in da proof which is da proof.
Either that or they’re masters of disguise, and all dressed up as empty chairs.
No no no, it’s the spirit of the thing. They’re all there in spirit. Can’t be bothered to show up in person though.
The speakers list is truly inspiring:)
“Why So Many Women Are Doing It”
“In Search of the Muslim Sassy Gay Friend”
“The Future of The New York Times”
“Sex in the Digital Age”
You can learn so much for any future book on comedy about baby’s of the boomers!
Come on, they’re competing (in the 5-6pm slot) with:
On the Internet, Everyone Knows You’re a Dog 5-6pm
Come and attend the Official Gokit Launch Party. Meet the founders. FREE Food, Beverages, and Music. 5-7pm
And about 50 more interesting events.
How not to bath for weeks, crapping on a police car: sweet relief or performance art?
(I made those up) would not be on my agenda either.
Those who actually attended were likely various press agents who were hoping to blend in to the crowd as opposed to ‘be’ the crowd.
You will be amazed to know that *even* the CBC estimated the crowd in Halifax for the “National Day of Action Against Electoral Fraud” as “12 people”. Not sure if that included the reporter and camera-person.
