Why waste time with an inquiry? They were Liberals. Everyone already knows they’re Crooks. The upside is that the PQ were certainly just as crooked when they governed.
Wasting my tax bucks, just to say what everybody all ready knows? They are/were leftard croocks, but we’ll let them off anyways? They’re from the Left,so the feelings where good.
Is it a coincident that the most socialist of provinces is also the most corrupt?
Just asking.
I had heard of corruption in the Quebec construction industry since the 1950’s,and accepted it as part of that Nation’s “culture”.
In the 1990’s,I had the pleasure of working with some tradesmen from Quebec. They not only confirmed what the Papers were saying all those years, but expanded on their stories to the point I got the impression that corruption was the norm, not the exception.
Unless this trial is just a showcase, like “Gomery”, there should be some Liberal “names” going to their own trial in the very near future.
IF,and it’s a big “IF” the Crown is really determined to get to the truth.
Somehow I doubt it.
Quebec.
Shrug.
Make it a gallic shrug.
The mob influence in Quebec doesn’t stop at the construction industry, I hope his testamony isn’t wasted on a Mob “fixer” running the court – winK wink nudge nudge
My comment sleeps with the fishes, er, um, filter.
Quebec might be the source of mob rule across Canada but make no mistake it is everywhere. In the most obvious case where the Libels were actually caught there was no real consequences.
Canadians simply ignore that reality.
Corruption is not unique to Quebec. Government workers, unions and yes even business have people on the take. It will eventually pull us down to the level that exists through most of the world.
