9. Looked up the horse – it’s running faster at 1,000 meters now as a 6 year old than it ever did when younger. Wow!
   It mostly runs 1000 and 1200 meter races. By comparison the Belmont Triple Crown race is 2,400 meters.
   Good breeding as one of its male ancestors was Northern Dancer (Kentucky Derby Winner), arguably the best race horse Canada has ever produced.
