  1. Beautiful. God bless you Francis Scott Key.
    I’m sure Michelle Obama was disgusted by the whole display.

  2. I think most Americans are patriotic – they do want the best for their country, their state, their city and their families – they are not “takers”. It is definitely “time to take out the trash”.

  3. Agreed, with both sentences. God bless America and may she return to her free market and liberal democratic roots. I don’t know that I have ever heard so much passion in a crowd for their national anthem.
    Big Momma, “time to take out the ‘radical lefty’ trash”. Hopefully you do not mind revising your quote a little.
    I wish we could have that sort of passion. For twenty-five years, as the local senior hockey score announcer, I was razzed for wanting Oh Canada played before the games. Finally someone stole the tape from the sound booth.

  4. Ken;
    I think there is more patriotism in Canadians than you. If Canadians were a little less insecure you might see more demonstrations of it. The left was shocked at the support for the Canadian effort in Afganistan. The leftards that control the education system have pretty much erased Canada’s WW II history from the books.
    I watched a history of the Doolittle Raid the other day. The carrier force was spotted by the Japanese 200 miles short of their launch distance. Realizing that there would not be enough fuel to reach China, after the bombing runs, the crews were offered the opportunity to stand down. Not one crew member did. Americans should never forget that!

  5. Ken;
    That didn’t come out right. Supposed to say, ‘I think there is more patriotism in Canadians than you think’.
    I always respect your input.

  6. Canadians are quiet patriots. We know that you don’t have to shout your beliefs from the rooftops to know what is in your heart.

  7. You can never defeat America even with a fellow traveler in the white house.

  8. OutStanding ! God Bless America ! KMA Obama, Reid, Pelosi and Axelrod.
    Don’t worry CT, I will never forget.

  9. Yeah I agree with that assessment of Moochelle’s reaction.
    And I have seen this phenomina before….the crowd DEFIANTLY belting out the anthem….that’s the accurate word.
    Lefties…deeming themselve citizens of the world…fear patriotism.
    I had an associate, recently retired, displeased with things stateside who came north to witness the “Highway of Heros” phenomina…..his flight was delayed and he headed for the cab-stand…told the cabbie what he wanted and the cabbie promptly wisked him to the eastend….found an appropriate overpass, lead him up and stood with him. My buddy was very moved….
    That scares the wits outa the left.
