  1. Now that the Chinese are going to the moon, it’ll be interesting to see what else may have been embellished or ‘disappeared’.
Once a liar always a liar.

  2. Yeah well, James Hansen, Director of the Goddard Space div of NASA, has long been noted as the one “adjusting” temp records….according to WUWT……

  3. About ten years ago the Environment Canada began “disappearing” all the high altitude and high latitude observation stations.

  4. Selective editing of the data, for fun and most importantly TAXATION!

  5. No no they are just reworking the numbers to ensure the money keeps flowing into their pockets.. Thats they way science works right? Tell the government what they want to hear.. Kiss the agendas rear end..
Raises and promotions all around 🙂

  6. Gee, it’s not like there aren’t independent lines of evidence that it was warm in the forties:
“The most recent studies by researchers at ETH Zurich show that in the 1940s Swiss glaciers were melting at an even-faster pace than at present. This is despite the fact that the temperatures in the 20th century were lower than in this century.”
How do they know temps were lower in the 40s? Why, they looked at the consensus temperature data for the 1940s, of course.

What is in the climategate emails regarding the concoction of this consensus temperature data:

“Here are some speculations on correcting SSTs to partly explain the 1940s warming blip. If you look at the attached plot you will see that the land also shows the 1940s blip (as I’m sure you know). So, if we could reduce the ocean blip by, say, 0.15 degC,then this would be significant for the global mean — but we’d still have to explain the land blip.I’ve chosen 0.15 here deliberately. This still leaves an ocean blip, and i think one needs to have some form of ocean blip to explain the land blip ”
I think there has been a malfunction in the memory hole.

  7. Well occasionally people get things wrong and corrections have to be made, that is perfectly understandable.
Pay no attention to the fact that all the corrections are made in the direction of ‘more grant money’.

  8. are the people of middle earth (AKA tarawnna) gonna stop
    a) heating their homes
    b) driving to work
    c) riding diesel buses
    d) flying in planes
    cause the glaciers/arctic/antarctic are melting?
    no frickin’ way.

  9. Once again demonstrating the only real skill libtards have.
Rewriting history to suit their delusion of the moment, otherwise known as lying, except people with this mental disorder, liberalism, may well be ignorant of what they do.
