That is deep, deep in the uncanny valley.
Can they get one to look like Kathleen Wynne? 😉
Well, that was underwhelming.
Creepy … because “she” is evidence that I have already had multiple interactions with her kind. Same kind of fake expressions, same lack of genuine emotions … I believe they are referred to as: psychopaths.
Androgyne. Spirit of the age, I guess.
Ah, well.
I can hardly wait. My Wayne Gretzky inflatable doll is nearly worn out.
Kathleen Wynne looks like Kathleen Wynne. That’s one too many already.
I like the part about “serious interview” then asks what kind of tree would (wood?) you be.
It is amazing how creepy those things are. The more human they look, the creepier they get.
It’s called the “Uncanny Valley” effect. The cute, cartoon-like faces we see on robots for the consumer/public interaction market are deliberately designed to stop well short of that.
Ex Machina….
Ex Machina….mankinds hubris will ultimately lead to the oft referred to “Judgement Day”
Cyber Police, it’s what they really want.
