Meet the Libertarian candidate for President Of The United States — Gary Johnson.
Lmao!
We need some humor… Enjoy Gary Johnson Flipping out yet again in another interview. pic.twitter.com/n2YsdD6Pi5— Keep'n It Real! (@JOMainEvent) November 2, 2016
That video of Johnson was likely the best bit of comedy I will see today.
2016 – Oh, what choices!
He’s buying some high quality stuff from the drug cartels that has affected his thinking…
The USA owes $20 TRILLION, just how are you going to abolish the IRS; notwithstanding the Koskinen/Lerner era? The prospect would financially nuke the country; but maybe that is what some people want…
Cheers

It would help if he didn’t look like a doofus!
Opium is the religion of the libertine masses.
Shorter Gary,
I don’t know tax policy. I don’t care about tax policy. I want FREE WEED!
The guy looks like he’s been smoking too much of his platform. On the other hand, he’s not the first to be arguing the relative merits of income-tax vs consumption-tax.
On the fair and balanced angle, Gary is probably as fed-up with “most of the worlds economists” as many of us are with “most of the worlds climate-scientists”.
Paul Joseph Watson did a great commentary on Gary Johnson….really worth watching:

Johnson should have been able to do better when responding to an edgy (concrete-bound progressive) Guardian “journalist”, especially one throwing out an appeal to authority. All he had to say is no, not all economists agree that progressive taxes are the only way to collect revenue. Johnson knows that this isn’t their time. He and his even more carpet bagging VP ran for the Libertarians because of the worse quality of the other two Party’s candidates. He incorrectly guessed that he could at least get some positive attention. Coming unglued at this stage is irrelevant as he was never going to be POTUS.
Excellent. Thanks for posting that link
I used to have a reasonably good opinion of libertarians but over time I have realized most of them are idiots and their ideology is not very self-consistent.
Give me true conservatism over libertarianism any day.
I’ve been saying for years that conservatives should hijack the libertarian movement. Advocate for legalization of pot, and scarf up all the gnarly votes of the ignorant.
DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN I WANT THIS ALL TO BE OVER. PLEASE TRUMP JUST WIN ALREADY!!!
The stoopid is strong with him… an intellectual giant he is not.
I like libertarianism/objectivism, pity libertarians are almost always useless.
Appears to have own hair…. uh……..ok I’m done.
Libertarianism is the only consistent set of principles worth fighting for. Having been involved in the movement, they do however have their share of “different” people. Being highly principled usually means being far removed from political power, the more principled – the further out. Conservatives occasionally succeed in holding power only to the degree by which they have compromised libertarian principles with socialists and fascists, thus winning the support of the mushy middle. The successful ones try masking the compromise with populism (Ralph Klein, Trump?). They may be temporary winners but in the end, the reprieve is short-lived and we all lose accordingly as leviathan continues to grow.
The only effective battle ground is in the culture not politics.
Justin Trudeau could use a man like that.
“Leadership”More like capitulation & self indulgence.
To experience the full effect, fire up the bong before you watch it.
A walking anti-dope commercial.
What’s most astounding is that this man is polling over 7% of the vote!!!
That’s like urging gullible people to follow their conscience and vote Green to save the world. It always takes votes from the LIB/NDP. I do it often during election times.
conservatives should hijack the libertarian movement.
I agree. There are a lot of votes there which can live compatibly with far right conservatism. Most Libertarians I’ve met were good people, just a bit too idealistic for the real world. Many spent too much time explaining why they weren’t Liberals. Much like Canadians identifying themselves as “NOT American”.
Uh, wanna rethink that? Why that better than rw (C)?
Oops, I see what you’re saying. Thought it was you doing the Green voting. Apologies.
It doesn’t seem much different now, in Canada, since the Dauphin has legalized pot and changed the election system.
Pass the Cheetos and the bong.
Exactly. I vote conservative and urge those who would otherwise vote LIB/NDP to vote GRN. It’s a lot more effective than trying to convince them to vote CNS. In fact the zealots who hate conservatives are the easiest to convince that GRN is the best choice. The LIBs are bankers and the NDP are unionists, and neither really give a shít about the planet.
“Because it’s 2015, that’s why.”
“Moat of the worlds economists”
You know these guys are the astrologists of the scientific world, right?
Its called the dismal science for a reason.
In 2007 “most of the worlds economists” thought everything was rosy.
Today most of the worlds economists think you can have 0 interest rates and grow an economy and not hurt the savers in you society (you know the ones that actually fund growth through investment).
Maybe “most of the worlds economists” should try what Johnson is selling>
Libertarians should avoid politics. They should use their ideas of liberty and the individual to influence small c Conservatives.
Syphoning off votes does nothing to influence policy unless you are operating in the EU where 30 parties run in every election.
AS stupid and shallow as Johnson is, he is is still a quantum leap ahead of PM Zoolander and his perfect bone structure.
…brain on dope!
