  1. If your name is Bertha, chances are you buy from the big and tall department. If your name is Bad Man, well…eventually, you’re going to have to kill someone. By the way…I’m looking for an old acquaintance. Her name is Gretchen What-Ever-You-Want. I usually try to steer clear of the hyphenated name women…but…

  2. This is so unfair and racist.
Don’t arresting circles have the final say
about who the police are allowed to arrest ?

  3. “June 27, 2015”
    Yup, it’s Stephen Harper’s fault.
“assault in Cardston on January 27, 2017”
Trudeau hasn’t had enough time to run his inquiries that will fix everything.

  4. I worked years ago in Pincher Creek and witnessed first hand local clerks being called racist for not ringing up people’s groceries fast enough, being called racist for not returning items that were purchased two to three years prior, etc. The local ambulance refusing to go out to the reserve due to lack of payment and the local taxi was much the same, guess what?they were racist too.
Local RCMP did an equity hire from the rez and the guy was a total embarrassment, hiding behind the local seed cleaning plant all day with young women in his car doing who knows what. Left the locals with little respect for the po po.
There is a reason that Brocket99 was created from out in that area, many of the locals lack the intellectual ability and or desire to help themselves, it is a travesty.

No need for inquiries, just a new “Healing Circle Tax”, like anyone will argue anymore.

  6. My Indian Guides name (my 8yo son’s group) was … “Swims with Beaver” and my imaginary Squaws name was … “Goes down Easy”. We rarely left the wigwam

  7. This is obviously a WHITE guy! WHITE privilege!
I watched the non-biased APTN tonight and they are calling for the government to conduct another Truth and Reconciliation committee–I agree!

  8. I remember years ago when Svend Robinson was a great friend of the First Nations and one band gave him the honorary title “White Swan” which someone later pointed out was a brand of bathroom tissue.

  9. Brocket99. That takes me back….
“Johnny Shot Both Sides was found shot in the back. Son of a bytch I knew him well”
“Ernie Scar here and Perline Prickly Bush on location. Are you der Perline???”

  10. It’s not his fault!!!! He was given an old white mans name.
His parents were brainwashed by the whites man lies.

  11. A little background here.
Brocket99 is a comedy tape about a ficticious Indian radio station in SW Alberta.
Supposedly made by some media students in Lethbridge. The original tape was comedy gold. Even the local natives laughed their azzs off.

  12. All puerile joking at native names side, I was surprised this particular report on the murder of this poor woman even made it into the media (did it make it to CBC?).
For all the high-minded caterwauling and posturing over the deaths of native women, no one in the media seems much inclined to highlight the elephant in the room: native-men-on-native-women violence, usually the result of drugs and/or alcohol.

  13. And we are spending $60 million to determine it is white man’s fault that most missing and murdered Indian women are killed by other Indians. It’s kind of like saying that less than 1% of Indians being buggered by a priest destroyed their society while a high rate of incest is irrelevant.

  14. The American people spent $ a million or so, on researching WHY lesbians tend to be morbidly obese. This is what happens when government has too damn much $$$ to spend. I have scoured the US Constitution and haven’t found a single word supporting such expenditure
