It’s Not Wiretapping When The Democrats Do It

Those names were leaked by a hateful internet video;

After the revelations these last couple of days about the “incidental” unmaskings, Rice made another television appearance, this time in an interview with Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC. Asked about allegations that she had been been involved in disseminating the names of people swept up by the intelligence investigations, she insisted that they were “absolutely false.”

Did the Obama Administration’s Abuse of Foreign-Intelligence Collection Start Before Trump?

In a December 31, 2016, Tablet article on the controversy, “Why the White House Wanted Congress to Think It Was Being Spied on By the NSA,” I argued that the Obama administration had merely used the appearance of spying on American lawmakers to corner opponents of the Iran Deal. Spying on U.S. citizens would be a clear abuse of the foreign-intelligence surveillance system. It would be a felony offense to leak the names of U.S. citizens to the press.
Increasingly, I believe that my conclusion in that piece was wrong. I believe the spying was real and that it was done not in an effort to keep the country safe from threats–but in order to help the White House fight their domestic political opponents.
“At some point, the administration weaponized the NSA’s legitimate monitoring of communications of foreign officials to stay one step ahead of domestic political opponents,” says a pro-Israel political operative who was deeply involved in the day-to-day fight over the Iran Deal. “The NSA’s collections of foreigners became a means of gathering real-time intelligence on Americans engaged in perfectly legitimate political activism–activism, due to the nature of the issue, that naturally involved conversations with foreigners. We began to notice the White House was responding immediately, sometimes within 24 hours, to specific conversations we were having. At first, we thought it was a coincidence being amplified by our own paranoia. After a while, it simply became our working assumption that we were being spied on.”

And…“President Obama, of course, got his start in national politics when sealed divorce records became public.”

  1. And this is how totalitarian regimes are brought to fruition…police state surveillance for no reason other than political manipulation.
Luciferian Saul Alinsky move over, you’re redundant!
The best political weapon is the weapon of terror. Cruelty commands respect. Men may hate us. But, we don’t ask for their love; only for their fear.

  2. I’m refering to the ‘Dementocrats” now as they have become completely demented.

Bachelor had this guy on last night. This is so disturbing but of course totally unsurprising coming from the Obama who I’ve called a despot for years now and this just adds more proof. I’m sure CNN will get right on this.

  5. Journo Sarah Carter on FOX the other night reports unmasking began as early as 2011 which is just prior to the previous 2012 election and the Romney campaign.

  6. This is exactly what is going. A combination Himmler/Dzerzhinsky clone gig.
The next stage? “We stand for organized terror – this should be frankly admitted. Terror is an absolute necessity” Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky nicknamed Iron Felix.

  7. You’re missing the big one…
Did the Obama team spy on members of the Supreme Court prior to hearings for ACA and gay marriage (to name a couple)? Did they have some dirt on Chief Justice Roberts which caused his totally unexpected votes since he was sworn in?

  8. Democrats don’t apologize for relentlessly driving the statist agenda, corrupting the leviathan agencies when in power and when in opposition, stalling, monkey-wrenching, and obstructing any and all attempts at reform or investigation, all under the cover of their propaganda arm of the mainstream media. Meanwhile the fatally compromised libertarians calling themselves conservatives, defend the honour of those corrupted agencies, continue reaching across the aisle, acting as if the media will somehow start giving them a “fair” shake, believers in benign management of the over-reaching security state but neutered when it comes to addressing the political weaponizing that has ensued under the Magic Negro. The Magic Negro must be enjoying this.

  9. I still can’t figure out whether Trump’s Twitter activity is a deliberate, carefully-controlled media operation or just “Donald being Donald”; I suspect the latter i.e., the best defence is a good offence.
Whatever it is, it’s very effective. With one quick tweet to the world, the Donald transforms a raging “Prove-you’re-not-in-bed-with-the-Russians” rumour campaign into a hasty “How-do-we-prove-Obama-wasn’t wiretapping-Trump” defensive withdrawal.

  10. And now the compulsive LIAR Rice has issued a non-denial denial.
“I won’t dignify that with a response, etc”
Special Prosecutor POTUS Trump, and step on it, before she emigrated to Lower Slobovia!

  11. I would bet that the mighty Kenyan made fine use of FISA, NSA, CIA, DIA, FBI, etc. apparatus from the start, and that Bush, Clinton and Bush I did the same. FISA is the starchamber, the intel apparatus is immune from oversight and knowing where the paychecks come from, does the master’s bidding w/o question.
This is not about ‘who revealed the names’, it’s about ‘who the hell ordered the surveillance’? But that question will not be answered in my lifetime. Hell, the JFK files are still largely sealed.
