Diversity administrators. I have a flashback to an old movie about a Nazi invasion of Canada during WWII. 49th Parallel. On board the invading German U-boat I seem to recall there being a Nazi party official whose only duty amongst the working crew was to ensure the purity of Nazi political doctrine and compliance thereto. In other words, he was essentially ballast, but baleful ballast. The idea of ivory tower diversity administrators seems redolent of this Nazi party job, but I doubt the Nazis paid as well as American universities.
