  1. Sorry Walter, only Canadian terrorists are eligible.
A WMD, eh? What a shame that no one told Bush all he needed to find in Iraq to redeem himself was a pipe bomb.

  2. I would take the expertise of a county sheriff on the issue of WMDs (or anything else for that matter) with a huge grain of salt. I really doubt this guy was the next 24 villain.

  3. Yeah … and it’s preposterous that Islamic murderers would use trucks to intentionally kill infidels. Who knows whether the good Muslim man with the scraggly beard just lost control of his rent-a-murder-weapon. How DARE the local police have an opinion.
Oh … and by the photos, I would say that every substance found was carefully identified and catalogued … so … I doubt there is much room for “opinion” on the matter. Plus, it seems illogical that the BATF would get involved if all he had collected were bottles of mouthwash. But then, logic isn’t your strong suit … is it ?

  4. I’m agreeing with UnMe again. Ugh.
A fertilizer bomb, even a big one, is not a weapon of mass destruction. That’s a term reserved for large-scale NBCR weaponry. This is silly grandstanding by the sheriff’s office.
The urine bottles were almost certainly an attempt at making urea nitrate for explosives.

  5. The people killed in the bombing of the Federal building in Oklahoma City might disagree with you, but they can’t. Dead, you know.

unme claims… I really doubt this guy was the next 24 villain.”
and unme… you have villain expertise, right?
The only outrage here is the continued persecution of people for
committing non-crime such as drug dealing and owning guns
    .”

so, if i’m following your logic, maisum ansari is just providing a much
needed service to canadian youth. the fact that there have been so
many deaths (apparently over a thousand in british columbia alone
    this year
) has nothing to do with the guy selling the poison. and if you
have millions of dollars worth of carfentanil, of course you need illegally
acquired handguns to protect your investment.

  7. Bottles of piss are not part of WMD’s. Hell, even fertilizer bombs themselves aren’t WMD’s. Even packing trucks full of them.
And just because the stuff was laid out on a table doesn’t mean it was ‘catalogued’ or ‘identified’.
Its just another moron spouting off about about a moron criminal he caught doing . . . something. Forget it Jake, its Florida Man.

  8. “Weapon of mass destruction” is term of art, not a rigorous definition, but it never refers to conventional explosives. Sorry.
