Stay safe out there, my friends. #SkStorm
We got off lucky north of Saskatoon. A little finger nail size hail for a minute and then an inch of rain over a period of a couple of hours. Perfect for the crops and gardens.
Something out of The Ten Commandments.
Geez – I thought that was a tribute to the mosquitos!

Those a$$holes never miss a chance to preach their religion.
A local lady, heard from friends in Saskatchewan.
SCHOOL bus got itself stuck ……in hail.
I remember storms like that while I lived in Saskatoon during the early 1980s. The last one brought so much rain that part of the roof of a nearby shopping centre collapsed. As well, the Idylwyld underpass which went under Circle Drive on the north side of the city was flooded.
If I remember correctly, a woman drowned in her car under that overpass at that time. Or maybe it was another time. We got seven inches of rain one afternoon in July 1974 1/2 hour north of Saskatoon and had a foot of water in the basement.
I remember reading about the drowning.
The underpass was completely submerged and that section of Idylwyld was closed for several weeks.
