Good job.
This careless government has careened from one bungle and self-manufactured crisis to another. From India, to Saudi Arabia, to Washington this week, it’s either catch-up, incompetence or peacock risibility. And as Ms. Freeland and her team pulled sophomore “all-nighters” to save free trade and appease the angry god in the White House, dear Alberta learned there was no way they will be able to trade their oil whatever way NAFTA goes.
So, the organization that threw Faith Goldy under the bus calls themselves the only conservative voice in Canada…
With friends like The Rebel, and Brian Lilley, do we really need enemies?
Robert Stacey McCain stands strong in the face of attacks. Mark Stein does; in fact I do not believe there is a breaking point for Stein. That is what we conservatives need; people who would rather die than live on their knees. Jordan Peterson may be one. If Toronto takes Goldy up on her mayor offer, they will have one.
People like that are few and far between. White women who would go to South Africa to cover a story, or actually go into an islamic no-go neighbourhood… Those types.
I suppose having a line that you will not cross is worth something, but sacrificing principle and friends for something else tends to become a habit.
Kevin;
We need more independent coverage that is not openly against classical liberal ideas (Many of which we now call conservative ideas — odd eh!).
Your criticism of the Rebel is important. I must say they suffered a great setback after the Goldy ditch. They lost in rapid succession: Lauren Southern, Gavin McGinnis, and Jay Fayza. Rebel Media is a business and they have to look after their interest which may not always intersect with the interest of their contributors.
That said, they have done good work on things like the Danforth coverage. The Menzoid’s encounter with one of the ever so plentiful and delusional “Hayter of the Hayters” at the Danforth memorial was one of his best moments. I have started watching their free stuff again because of reports like that. They are an important voice and should be more widely disseminated.
We need a SUN News TV outlet: A Fox News North that is equally distributed with the likes of CTV, Global and CBC. The way to do this would be to get rid of subsidies to those other entities. We need a Canadian Greg Gutfeld type: Someone to play the fool. The Court Jester traditionally played the role of speaking truth to the powerful and usually did it without losing his head. Mark Steyn would be a wonderful choice for that role. So much better than Rick Mercer who I stopped watching after the 2006 Federal election because I couldn’t stand to see my Canadian tax dollars go to constantly and almost exclusively mocking Stephen Harper.
If Trump negotiates an end to the protection, read subsidization of Liberally approved elite, of our ‘cultural’ industries through a new improved NAFTA we could perhaps re-balance the news industry in Canada. We need hope, humour of the people, the great unwashed, not the 22 minute-esque humour of the elite.
By getting rid of supply management and ‘cultural protections’ Trump could do more for Canadians in a few short weeks than any of our elite has done in decades.
Great comment. I wish we had a Trump. We need a leader to vote for instead the Libs have a leader we vote against. Sun News was great I loved it and was sad to see it go. Harper should have taken the subsidies from CBC and gave them to Sun. for a year or two. that would have done a lot of good for Canada.
“With friends like The Rebel, and Brian Lilley, do we really need enemies?”
Ask Tommy Robinson that.
“So, the organization that threw Faith Goldy under the bus calls themselves the only conservative voice in Canada…”
That is because they are. Name one more. No you do not count, name one that caounts and actually has recognition.
Crickets chirping.
Exactly.
Faith got fired fair and square. She got nothing to bitch about and in fact haven’t heard her bitch. She worked for Rebel, was told not to hang out whit Nazis so she went and gave and interview at Daily Stormer. Bad move and justly got shitcanned for it.
P.S. I like her, I would love for her to win (although she clearly is a Potiemkin candidate).
“White women who would go to South Africa to cover a story,…”
Oh you mean like Katie Hopkins who actually is working for … drumroll … the Rebel.
Maybe you could finally STFU with your endless bullshit purity tests?
Just wondering; would Energy East pipeline have saved Lac Megantic?
I have never heard of a pipeline failure that burned a town down.
Useful idiots take to the streets for a big game of LETS PLAY POLITICS just like they do every earth day and they leave a big mess behind them
I don’t go to these rallies. I don’t want to get arrested for beating the crap out of these idiots.
It would be jap-slapping time for sure and the first would be the A-HOLES with the bandanas over their faces, male or female I don’t care.
A gay Métis in favour of the pipelines. I guess the protesters are homophobic or anti-native bigots.
Andy 2% should base his campaign on pipelines PIPE! BABY PIPE!

I would be in favor of the police (who are attending the rally anyway as part of security) confiscating anything and everything that is made or derived from oil from the counter protestors. That would include some of the signage, the drums, and lots of items of clothing. Perhaps when the protestors understand their own dependence on items made from petroleum distillates, then they might shut up. Further, if they are found to be unemployed and without means of financial survival except government handouts, their social benefits are cut off immediately (since there is evidence that they are able bodied, just mentally defective). They don’t seem to understand that a resource based economy, like Canada’s, depends on the resources that we can sell (which even the Trudeau regime can’t seem to grasp), and that if those items don’t go to market, we can’t export protestors (or politicians) – nobody would buy them.
Opposing the Canada East pipeline is a political loser for the lib leftitsts and various moderate extremists like Elizabeth May et al.
It only makes sense to exploit our own resources, for our own good, under our environmental control. The idea is a winner.
Like these loons, the establishment will have to resort to repressing support somehow.
The courts are big help but are they enough? Probably not, black ops will be required.
They succeeded with regulation, how will they do it with public opinion? Can’t wait.
Watching Grits walk the tightrope between pretending support & engineering inaction will be fun.
My takeaway from this video is that … evidently … Canada’s energy future has been crippled by a gaggle of white womyn. Where are the First Peoples? Still in In bed? I thought the Chiefs were the ones preventing the pipelines from being built … but all I see are white womyn.
White womyn and papier-mâché puppets (depicting … something??). Sad.
If I had been there, I would have had an attack of clumsiness and fallen onto that young gal’s drum.
Schadenfruede anyone!
Imagine! Karma Perfecto!
The Liberal Party of Canada giving the Big Shaft to Ontariowe and its Auto Industry in order to save hometown Quebec’s Great Dairy Industry Ripoff!
As if Ontarioweans don’t deserve to be repaid for their Liberalosity. Good and hard.
Or Quebec. As if. Doesn’t matter.
CBC and The Star and the Cognitive Dissonance? Behold the beauty.
The Liberal Party to Justin Trudeau on meeting Trump and saving NAFTA and more importantly the Liberal Party(paraphrasing Cousin Eddie to Mr. Shirley):
“Are you about ready to do some blowing?”
Ford won & the provincial LPOC are virtually, gone in Ontariowe. Now Trump is going to gore their ox courtesy of S4B, suck holing for votes in Quebec. The War That Never Ends is on, again. Upper Canadauh vs Lower Canaduh. Everybody else gets to watch as your kid’s future is decided in two dysfunctional parts of Canaduh.
Sick of it yet?
Far as this person is concerned the country “Canada” died when PET the First ran the place. It’s been a slow slide, but I sense the speed at which it collapses is picking up with S4B, Son of PET. Full circle, I guess. The money taps are slowly being turned off.
Place your bets.
So….downtown Edmonton isn’t plugged up, is it?
No blockades on the Trans-Canada, right?
Any oil-field tractor-trailers or pickup trucks or farm tractors or placards or bullhorns on the Legislature grounds?
Any of this stuff planned?
No, eh?
Geez, and you wonder why the bastards think they can get away with this stuff, eh?
I agree. Though I have always believed it is best to quietly move life forward by being a good example, people need to start speaking up. Organise a riot and show up for it. When somebody at a dinner party talks about what a wonderful job young Justin is doing, talks about what a boor Premier Ford is or how President Trump is evil incarnate stop biting the inside of your cheek. Engage them. Argue. I have sat quietly while people praise what we are against. No more. Don’t STFU, speak up and show your convictions.
Poor guy. Couldn’t speak without constantly getting interrupted. He should have started to whisper into the mike…perhaps they would have craned their necks to hear what he was trying to say. Then he could have tried to get the message out. His message.
His business in Fort Mac is probably suffering to boot. I feel sorry for him. Wonder how much the puppet master is paying these loud mouthed useful idiots. Wherever there’s Liberals, there’s tits-up.
I still can’t get the sound out of my head of that other useful idiot screaming out loud : ” MADAME, MADAME, MADAME, MADAME,
MADAME, MADAME, MADAME, MADAMEMADAMEMADAMEMADAMEMADAMEMADAMEMADAME, MADAME, MADAME.” I have nightmares…..ekkck toowee. SPLAT!
…pip, pip …
But, if we don’t buy the foreigners oil, the foreigners won’t buy our military equipment.

I have to hand a big round of applause to the fellow and his audience for standing up to these anarchist scum, and for not taking boots to them like they deserve. It is these foreign controlled and paid for scum that control our country now. Oh to be sure, some of them wear suits and are in control of our federal government.
Did anyone wonder how these anarchists happened to have all their paraphernalia ready to take to this rally and try to disrupt it and take it over?
“We come to our world expecting to see light and so we see light. But it is not light at all. It is, rather, twilight. If we look closer, we see that the shadows have already begun growing longer.
And there, off in the distance, we dimly apprehend a darkness, gathering, and it is coming our way.”
