  4. I remember back in the very early 90’s before I learned how to drive when my father told me to get in the car and start it up. I had a very irrational fear and sense of dread that I was going to somehow use up the rest of the oil.

The camps are already built and populated in China and they can build them here, too. A special “camp tax” can be assessed to pay for it at the pump, just like a carbon tax. Location isn’t a problem in this country.

    And ultimately, why doesn’t somebody speak truth to power and tell Al Gore, David Suzuki, the U.N. IPCC, George Soros, the CBC and our own Liberal government that:
    1) – we’re on to them,
    2) -using kids to parrot their message is sick, underhanded and steadily more ineffective; indeed, it’s becoming harmful as people find themselves asking who’s teaching their kids to parrot this bull$hit, and why?, and why are their kids coming home from school die-hard proto-communists who can’t write a coherent sentence, read a clock or answer what 2+2 is,
    3) – we’re NOT giving them any more money, and
    4) – why don’t they all just shut the fvck up and go soak their heads?

If I was the provincial education minister…I’d screw their summer up. “Due to the number of instructional days missed during the school year because of inclement weather and walkouts, summer holidays have been cancelled this year. All teachers and students will report to their respective schools. All exams for high school and grade school students will be written no earlier than 26 August 2019. For those students whose post-secondary school entrance requires final marks from the aforementioned exams–YOU SHOULD’VE STAYED IN CLASS”

    1. Why? That class is part of the problem. Will a few days less in that class be any worse than the indoctrination they get? Home-school.

  14. Maybe powerful teachers unions are the problem. I mean indoctrinators should NOT be in a union. Maybe if they hired TEACHERS instead of social justice warriors, we wouldn’t have so many stupid people walking around waiting to vote for the Communists. Curriculum should not be set by politicos or union leadership. Standardized testing should be incorporated for teacher evaluation, and incorporate that into teacher renumeration. This might give indoctrinators a little bit of incentive to hone their TEACHING skills, as opposed to building good little Communists that will vote to raise teacher salaries. History is a major problem area, as those who do not know their history, are doomed to repeat it. The 20th Century was among the bloodiest in world history, and if none of the Millennials know about it, the 21st Century will be even more bloody. I foresee a future with forced euthanasia at a certain age, when you no longer produce for the glory of Kanaduh. The future is does not bode well.

    1. Teachers believe they’re doing a good job. That’s a big part of the problem. The other part is that they think socialism is just “valuing human lives over corporate profit”, which is utter bollocks. It’s almost impossible to fight against that.

    3. I agree completely … despite my own wife being a public school teacher. However my wife is a GOOD teacher. Dedicated to actually teaching the things her elementary school children NEED to know at their age and grade level. She even starts every morning with the pledge of allegiance… in Oakland. A city run by a Communist woman who hides illegals from the Federal government. I am actually shocked that she hasn’t been STOPPED or at least SHAMED for having her children recite the pledge of allegiance. Yes, she is different from her peers. Her peers are all militant UNIONISTA’s who are more interested in themselves than their students. Yes … we need to develop a MERIT pay system for teachers which punishes incompetency and rewards competency

    It was recently reported via SDA that kids as young as 8 are given hormone blockers by PhD level “professionals” because they are old enough to realize what gender they wish to be the rest of their lives. The same progressive media that gives children credit for being able to make such life-limiting decisions tell us that 15 year-old Omar Khadr was only a child who didn’t really know what he was doing when he killed a family man trying to defend our freedom. If only they had gotten to him before the Islamists, he could have been shooting hormone blockers to save the planet (sterilization reduces CO2 through preventive action) instead of shooting guns to save the Afghan patriarchy…

That being said, I do not want to hear the political opinions of anyone under the age of thirty (which should be the minimum voting age, BTW), because most of them don’t know what they don’t know and under the right conditions end up being Mao and Pol Pot’s genocidal red guards.

    Someone once asked me what was the one thing that would make our planet a better place to live and I replied ridding it of socialism. Poor fellow got that deer in the headlights look…

  21. Look at the thousands of students out protesting about Doug Ford’s education changes. You know, like having teachers that actually can do the required math, English and grammar. Could you imagine in our old school days in the 50’s walking out of class under instruction from the Teachers Unions? Wynne added thousands of new “teachers, indoctrinators, socialists and early educators to her all-day kindergarten, like 7,000 early educators, as promised to the Teachers Unions. Of course the number of students enrolled has dropped as the number of teachers soared. Less than half of the kids can pass the math standard test.

    Another 19,000 public employees were added to the Sunshine List this year.

    1. Back in the 50s there were no teachers unions. They were professionals and they used behave that way. My male teachers wore suits and ties or sport jacket and ties. The women teachers wore dresses or skirts. They were called ‘Sir’ or ‘Miss’. They had ‘slap-you-upside-the-head’ power as well. They didn’t take shit from bad students while there were good students waiting to learn something.

      It was a more respectful time. Everyone was smarter than kids of to-day and wanted to be seen as smart. We had pride back then … and more integrity than the over-weight little screen-tranced automatons of today. I am glad those kids are living in mortal fear … they are ingrates .. they deserve to be unhappy. Miserable kids will punish their idiot parents as well.

      Their teacher are punished by being the perpetually miserable, unionized system drones that they are.

        You underestimate today’s kids and misremember your own generation. There’s good kids today. There were bad kids yesterday.

        Society has to adapt to the fact the internet makes school obsolete. Of course, printing kind of made churches obsolete, where the one guy in town who could read would go learn the bible, come home and preach to the illiterates. 4 centuries later, people still go sit and have a book read to them

        The public sector unions need to be remade. New hire teachers should be older, accomplished. Now, they’re hired out of college and spend their lives doing one job, counting the days till pension. The other extreme, road work should be done by nobody over the age of 25. Make some money young, move on, not spend their lives waiting out the pension clock

        Since i’m rambling….not just the public unions, the professional associations are like medieval trade guilds. Why is there always a shortage of doctors? Why are existing doctors in charge of the supply of new doctors? They intern for a year and it’s like some great ordeal. How about they spend 10 or 15 years nursing or on an ambulance? Interning assures that the wealthy keep their positions. Poor people can’t go a year with no pay. Lawyers are even worse closed shop. Engineers better, but their self policing seems to be rotting too.

    Very first spring break came along the kids asked, “Do we get Spring Break off?” My wife said, “Sure. Do you want it this week while it is raining (coastal B.C.) or do you want to take it when the weather is nice?” They took the sane option – days off in nice weather.

    My comment was that “you realize we are not training them to be mindless employees don’t you?”

    They had a set amount of work to be done each day. When it was done they were on their own. Usually out with the horses by 1:30 p.m.

    A friend mentioned that his college professor son said he could tell the home schooled students on day one. They took their assignment list and went off to start working on it. The public schooled kids hung around and tried to negotiation a better deal.

  28. I just watched a sickening documentary about Muslim extremist men indoctrinating their kids with extremist beliefs. It was shocking and also heartbreaking because you felt the kids who would go on to become terrorists were completely trapped. This is child abuse and now the same abuse is happening in our country. This is not the first time the CBC is capitalizing on this exploitation of children. Both the brainwashing by teachers, media, government and CBC using the situation to further manipulate people is unacceptable. It is very damaging to democracy.

        The other day I was reading an offering from the Berenstain Bears to my little grand-daughter. In the book I was reading to her, the furry scolds were going after Papa Bear because he wasn’t 100% on-board with the green religion. In fact he was termed shudder ‘a skeptic’ .
        It all turned out good. By the last page in the book Papa Bear had mended his evil ways and was no longer a skeptic; he was just like the other bears, happily fanatical about every piece of garbage he came across.
        The book made fine starter material to light the burn barrel.

These are what I call “the things we’re told since Kindergarten.” I can still remember to this day the “stop littering” campaign that I was subject to over the course of years, going through school. Now, I am just incapable of throwing garbage anywhere except a garbage can. I know, this isn’t a bad thing. But it goes to show you the power of repetition.

    How can we simply stop dirty diesel trucks from restocking the grocery store shelves in a 200 Mile radius around Toronto city center?
    How can he get the price of any and all units of fuel to be @$200 per litre/cubic foot, etc. within a 200 mile radius of Toronto city center?

    It is pretty simple, that truck convoy? ALL THEY HAVE TO DO, EVERY SINGLE DRIVER IN THE COUNTRY, is stop any and all pickups and deliveries in all cities in the country. No more fuel trucks restocking their gas stations. No more coal trains keeping their power plants going. No more pipelines keeping their natural gas coming. No more jet A keeping their airports going.

    IF THEY WANT CARBON FREE, FORCE IT DOWN THEIR THROATS TILL HALF OF THEM ARE DEAD. MAKE SURE THEY GET EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT, GOOD AND HARD.

    If you want it to burn down, then you have to light a match.

    This is why I do not believe that oil companies want it to stop; if they did, there would have been no gasoline or diesel sold in the cities of Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, … for at least 10 years now. They would have been dried out long ago; IF OIL COMPANIES WERW SERIOUS.

    All they would have to do, is give them exactly what they want. GOOD AND HARD.

      1. Well I went to my Grandson’s school events, and parents can go on parent/teacher and so can grandparents. The propaganda covers the walls it is very public. The posters and lectures even have UN logo’s and UN printed on them along with your favorite enviro groups. Your tax dollars at work. You can also read the text books. No excuses.
