“We’re now facing something new. “

YMMV. But read the whole thread.

Update: The Dayton shooter ruins the media narrative.

  1. Are we looking at TWO “wind-up” toys in these latest attacks? Just like several previous ones, like the New Zealand example, there are anomalies.

It doesn’t take a literary genius to copy and paste a suitably loony “manifesto”. The Kiwi one was supposed to be “forbidden reading” for the peasants. It is utter dross, drawing on several sources to paint a particular picture in “official” minds; basic psy-ops.

    A couple of other observations:

Running FROM a threat like this means you just die tired. The spirit of flight 93 seems to be officially denigrated.

Running and hiding are the procedures preferred by the “experts”. Dying in place, on cue and as officially demanded, is an interesting survival strategy.

The only questions asked by the Lamestream Media and “officialdom” are the usual lightweight rhetorical ones about “motive”. They can’t wait to get to their real agenda which is “gun-control”. This tells me, at least, that such folks are deliberately ignoring the legal and social situations in “foreign” massacres like the Bataclan and those in Russia. They do this because the CAN and they MUST.

The instinctive, lockstep blaming of “right-wing” extremism is also unsurprising.

    1. Yes, if this was another Islamic attack on the west it would be forgotten as yesterdays news already.

What happened to “disaffected youth” or “mental illness” headlines?

  2. Has anyone else noticed the at the perps of these so called trolls are not committing suicide but are sacrificing their promising futures? These are intelligent young men with their entire futures ahead of them. Why would they do that? For lols? hmmmm

      1. Nihilism is the refuge of losers, who spent all their school years on the Internet, killing imaginary people on Fortnight … then suddenly in their early twenties … wake up to the realization that they are going nowhere and have nothing to offer society. Then they join groups that chant … Against All Gods … meaning Total Anarchy! No rules. No authority. No government. Fuck people!

The current anti-Christian culture has degenerated into a total disregard for human life. These people have no conscience. They have no “morality”. They have no NATURAL human restraint. They have rejected their own biology (no rules, remember). They don’t even value their own lives which are becoming more pointless every day.

Yeah … the “destruction of God” is in full swing, and we’re starting to reap the “rewards” of our atheist “freedom”. Whatever rrrrr maaaaaaannn nn

        1. I sort of agree with what you’re saying; I mean in regards to the anti-christ direction of culture. But the rest of it doesn’t fit. If the totally immoral and illegal actions (which I don’t endorse at all) of this latest round of young shooters is the actions of nihilists, why would they throw away a future of self indulgence? After all, isn’t that the aim of modern consumerist free market society? These guys should be happy with all that is offered to them, al the promises of gadgets and commodified sex.

  3. “Before, a person intensely motivated by politics would write a manifesto to explain their reasons for resorting to violence…”

Which would invariably state none of the real reasons why they resorted to violence.

Orgies of mass murder were never an unfortunate side effect of the glorious proletarian revolution. The revolution was an excuse for the elect to indulge their morbid desire to kill everybody who had ever “triggered” them.

By Cates’ standard, Karl Marx was the most successful “troll” in human history.

  4. Cates piece makes perfect sense to me. Three types of mass shooters – nuts, terrorists, and now trolls. The first two die for their cause, the last surrenders to enjoy the sh!tshow.

Two thoughts – do these events and the statist/media call for more gun control spike American gun purchasing again, and do states accelerate executions to minimize the trolls’ enjoyment? It seems to me the efforts to bring down America have a distinct chance of making it stronger.

    I swear God’s a comedian.

    1. God has a sense of humour, you see. The devil doesn’t—and neither do his agents on earth.

    2. Finally, we have Jokers. As in Batman.

They don’t want money. They have no political point to make. They just want to do the ultimate troll, and one-up the last guy.

  5. I can’t help but think this was written by someone other than the suspect. It seems too cogent for the thought processes of a 21 year-old. Much too mature in presentation. Don’t know who, just don’t think it was him.

    1. Agreed. This is not the worldview of a 21 year old. It was either ghostwriiten or cut and pasted, with a few edits.

    2. These are nihilists.

They don’t care if they live or die. They don’t care if others live or die. They don’t care who lives or does. To them, existence is meaningless, and nothing really matters.

Maybe they want to feel important or powerful for just a moment. They rebel and lash out, burning with rage for just one moment, against the vast sea of society. They crave some celebrity that they never had in their mediocre lives, but they’ll settle for notoriety.

      There’s nothing worse than nihilists.

    3. what gives it away as written as an after thought by some one else, is the part were the guns are discussed. That has nothing to do with the actual event because they are only tools to carry out the event . The part about the guns is trolling for gun legislation to be enacted, or playing to the gun grabber lefties

      1. Help me understand this part of his “manifesto” …

The natives didn’t take the invasion of Europeans seriously, and now what’s left is just a shadow of what was. My motives for this attack are not at all personal. Actually the Hispanic community was not my target before I read The Great Replacement.

Sorry … I’m not buying it … that this punk ass kid both “read” The Great Replacement and somehow chastises the Native Americans for (apparently) not fighting back against the European invasion of their lands. Whoever wrote this received a very poor education about just how HARD the Natives DID fight … and murder … the European Invaders.

        1. “My motives for this attack are not at all personal.”

I have not read his “manifesto”, because I couldn’t care less about anything this whatever-it-is has to say, in the same fashion that I couldn’t care less about anything “Beto” O’Rourke or any other “Democrat” has to say about anything.

What’s interesting about the section Kenji quotes, however, is that it pretty clearly admits that this thing was going to commit his slaughter even before he had settled on a “justification” for doing so. Didn’t matter what the purported motives were, he was just going to do it.

Aside from smacking of retroactive rationalization (the main event being the decision to commit the act, rather than the act itself), that observation tends to suggest to me that, in this thing’s mind, he didn’t view his own planned actions as providing him with feelings of sufficient adequacy in the absence of a sensation-making “justification”. And the one he selects just happens to coincide with the overweening negative legacy media narrative about the sitting President of the United States? Fake News.

So, yes, he’s certainly trolling us, by any definition. Sort of reminds me of Albert Camus’s “L’Etranger” (The Outsider), wherein the main character in the novel commits a murder which he later claims to have been caused by the oppressive heat and light of the Sun, which made him pull the trigger:

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stranger_(Camus_novel)

          1. Theodore Dalrymple on this very point from today (very good from the forensic psychiatrist):

            https://www.city-journal.org/mass-shootings-el-paso-dayton

His discussion about the almost-always loose connection between the shooter and his victims, despite the perp’s profession of a clear motive was the first of several “gestalt” moments for me in reviewing the commentary, along with Mr. Cates’s tweets.

    1. That’s “Chi-raq”.
      There is also Killadelphia.
Democrat cities all earn nicknames like these.

      1. “Let’s bring our boys home and deploy them on the streets of Baltimore, Chicago, and several other American schitt-holes”

        Posse Comitatus Act
The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 prohibits the use of U.S. military forces to perform the tasks of civilian law enforcement such as arrest, apprehension, interrogation, and detention unless explicitly authorized by Congress.

The Posse Comitatus Act, signed into law by President Rutherford B. Hayes on June 18, 1878, limits the power of the federal government in the use of federal military personnel to enforce U.S. laws and domestic policies within the borders of the United States. The law was passed as an amendment to an army appropriation bill following the end of Reconstruction and was subsequently amended in 1956 and 1981.

As originally enacted in 1878, the Posse Comitatus Act applied only to the U.S. Army but was amended in 1956 to include the Air Force.

        1. Yeah, yeah … I was just attempting to be ironic. No. We do not want a Military police force. We’ve got a whole lot of alphabet Agencies to violate the spirit and intent of the posse comitatas Act as it is.

  6. Any speculation as to if he comes from a family of Democrats? If Democrats unilaterally relinquished their weapons, gun violence in the USA would probably decrease by way more than 50%

  7. The Dayton shooter was an atheist because God has a problem with men screwing their own sisters.

The little pervert wanted to screw his sister. When she refused, he threw a tantrum and murdered her and her boyfriend in broad daylight.

He shot a few black bystanders to make sure everybody would blame it on Donald Trump before blowing his own brains out.

    Everybody was not born yesterday.

Has his father been reached for comment yet? Because a candid world should be informed what his mother did wrong here.

    1. BTW … I have been SUPREMELY IMPRESSED by the Dayton, OH police, DA, and elected city officials. It starts with their proactive police presence at this night-life section of town, then the actual (1-minute) response time and take down of the shooter. And now … they have been releasing gobs of information to the public … in multiple press conferences per day … as fast as they process it. THIS is what government transparency is supposed to look like! NOT like the obfuscation and RESISTANCE of our Federal Agencies regarding HER crimes, and conspiracy against Trump.

I am greatly impressed with the city of Dayton. Meanwhile … all I hear from the El Paso officials are clips of Beto (Robert) crying and blaming Trump. What about the shooter’s dysfunctional whacko Family … including his long-time addict father who rubs tunes from Tibetan singing bells ? Yeah … not the prototypical MAGA Family. This incident stinks to high heaven.

And in thinking about the depth and breadth of the international-government conspiracy to Destroy Trump … I now believe our “17 Intelligence Agencies” are capable of engineering all manner of deception and … “tragedies” like a nutjob shooting up a WalMart.

      1. Well said. The Dayton police are doing a good job. It should be like that everywhere.

Funny how these mass shootings just happen and suddenly it changes the narrative of the topic du jour, which is usually just about the time when the Democrats are fighting amongst themselves.

Gotta love those homemade signs the protesters are holding and waving,”ban guns”. Of course the opposite always happens and sales go up. America wouldnt be where it is today if it weren’t for the Revolution. You’d be a backwater like Canada.

      2. Yes, Dayton’s finest are being as transparent and professional as possible.

Dayton’s ghetto trash don’t care. All they know is that a “cracker” shot six of their tribe, and they want white blood. The CBC this morning are eating it up like candy.

This is one of the many reasons why white people refuse to give up their guns, boys and girls. They know better than to expect blacks to listen to anything but gunfire.

  8. so which high ranking Democrats got charged on the weekend?
I too am noticing a trend, criminal charges against a Clintonite and boom another mass killing to distract the media.
The usual suspects are all accusing Trump, for “inciting hateful state of mind”,yet these are the creatures who have thrown a nonstop temper tantrum since President Trump’s election.

    The mass shootings are a case of ;
Just cause you can, does not mean you should.
Young men are particularly prone to violent madness, a society that keeps telling their boys that they have no present,no future, are the cause of everyones problems and “Toxic mascalinity”…
Might not like the conclusions these boys come too.
Banishment of our Progressive comrades would go a long way toward reducing outbreaks of madness.

  9. Due to the death of the baby boomers, the increasingly anti-immigrant rhetoric of the right and the ever increasing Hispanic population, America will soon become a one party-state. The Democrat party will own America and they know it. They have already begun the transition by pandering heavily to the Hispanic voting bloc in the 1st Democratic Debate. They intend to use open borders, free healthcare for illegals, citizenship and more to enact a political coup by importing and then legalizing millions of new voters.

Effing gee! He was triggered by Democrat hopefuls..

My death is likely inevitable. If I’m not killed by the police, then I’ll probably be gunned down by one of the invaders. Capture in this case if far worse than dying during the shooting because I’ll get the death penalty anyway.

I find it ironic is he implemented a cold blood massacre in Texas — and was captured. All the open carry activists were left outside, letting the shooter kill freely.

    1. Can’t say if the manifesto is real, but it looks less trolly and more just unabomberish than the Christchurch one.

Conspiracy theories are evident, every time. Witnesses see things, because people make mistakes.

  10. Insanity requires incarceration not tolerance. My rights should never be diminished because of the actions of idiots, morons and killers. Mass killers need to be executed after a very quick trial.

  11. Trying to wrap my head around this fact: dozens dead and dozens more injured in two mass shootings inside 24 hours. This level of violence just doesn’t happen anywhere else (outside war zones and narco-states).

What’s unique about America — what specific combination of social factors — that adequate explains why the frequency of mass shootings is so much higher here than in any other comparable nation? Let’s here your theories, everyone.

    1. Liberal Drug culture, Liberal ghettos’, Liberal Open Border policies, Liberal early release programs, Liberal culture of entertainment & news propaganda vilifying traditional American values and glorifying self indulgence……………….to name a few.

      1. Hi Paul. If anything, Canada is even more liberal than the US, but mass gun violence here is still far less frequent. So that doesn’t adequately explain the mass shooting problem in the US.

        1. So lets put it another way, it’s not the guns. If it were gun violence in gun ban Mexico or Venezuela would be non existent and western nations through the roof.

Western countries like Canada and within Europe have indeed had their share of gun, bomb, truck violence per capita to be sure. As we devolve our western civilization to third world status though our Progressive Liberal agendas, we will see more and more violence in the future.

Any bets that’s not the case?

Singling out the US with it’s huge populations of “diversity” and social issues as a gun issue, is falling prey to the Progressive agenda.

    2. It’s called sociopathy with 3-5% prevalence. Some are hard hired. Some are programmed, lacking positive male role models growing up or raised by male-hating females. Some are medicated. They smoke dope day long, play violent video games and watch porn in mom’s basement. In Canada they also use vans.

see David Southam @ at 4:42 am

        1. Hi Paul. Antidepressant use is pretty high in other countries too, but they don’t experience the same level of mass shootings. Plus, the vast vast majority of people on SSRIs and other meds don’t end up as violent mass murderers. So that doesn’t adequately explain the mass shooting problem in the US either.

          1. Lori~”but they don’t experience the same level of mass shootings.”

Yes, they do. You see, Lori, your repeated restatement that the U.S. has more mass shootings than any other place is false.
Continually repeating a false premise does not make it true.
What you are doing here is hoping that people will respond to your straw man argument as though it were a true premise.

          2. Hi Oz, I never claimed that the U.S. has more mass shootings than “any other place.” I’m asking why it has more than in other comparable nations? No one’s interested in a US-versus-Iraq comparison, but a US-versus-Canada/UK/Germany is entirely reasonable.

          3. How about a U.S. versus Switzerland comparison.
Yes, I know, nearly every Swiss home has at least one fully automatic assault rifle so it would be a bad comparison.
What is it that makes the Swiss have so few mass shootings compared to America then? Is it the cheese or the watches?

          4. Hi Oz.

You ask, “What is it that makes the Swiss have so few mass shootings compared to America then? Is it the cheese or the watches?”

Maybe. Or maybe it’s the compulsory firearms training. Or maybe it’s their strict firearms regulations, like local gun registries, extensive background checks prior to weapons and ammunition sales, and restrictive concealed carry laws. Or maybe it’s their societal attitude toward the “right to bear arms”, which is central to Swiss identity not so ideologically rigid that they’re not open to policy changes based on evolving societal attitudes and norms (ex. the 2019 referendum approving, by a nearly 2:1 margin, increased restrictions on semi-automatic and automatic weapons, high capacity magazines, etc.).

By the way, “nearly every Swiss home has at least one fully automatic assault rifle“ is incorrect. The Swiss indeed have a high gun ownership rate, but the number of households who’ve opted to keep their FULL AUTO rifles from their military days at home is much lower (less than 50%, maybe closer to 33%). The rest are hunting rifles, sport rifles and handguns, etc.

          5. Lori~”The rest are hunting rifles, sport rifles and handguns, etc.”

Oh, well touché. Those don’t count as possible murder tools then./
I think it’s the chocolate. Makes the Swiss happier people…
Tell you what, Lori. Why don’t you tell us why you think America is so trigger happy and we’ll debunk you. M’kay?

      1. Hi Raymond, “sociopathy” prevalence isn’t appreciably higher in the US compared to other places like Canada, Europe, etc., and pot-smoking, video game playing young men are hardly unique to America. So those doesn’t adequately explain the mass shooting problem in the US.

    3. Young Americans have an overblown sense of entitlement. The new phenomena of taking selfies and living on social media has burgeoned into mass narcissism on a scale never seen before.
The first mass shooting of this kind that I recall was the Columbine High School massacre in 1999 with 2 Leftists who liked to dress in black and hated Christians.

      1. Hi Oz. Teenagers all over the world take selfies and live on social media, so that doesn’t adequately explain the mass shooting problem in the US.

          1. Hi Oz. I’m interested in comparable nations: i.e., Western, developed, relatively wealthy, etc. Like the other G7 countries, for example.

Lott’s arguments are interesting, but even looking at his analyses (e.g., https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3238736), the US is clearly an outlier compared to Canada, the UK, etc.

For example, see Table 1, Attacks per 100K people, by country. The US is #58, ahead of Iraq, Somalia, the DRC, Columbia, etc., but France is #71 even with their terrorism problem, Canada is #81, Germany is #83, and the UK is #87.

In Figure 1D, Attacks per million residents by geographic region, the US is ahead of Africa, Asian, and the Middle East, but has triple the rate of per-capita mass shooting attacks of Northern and Western Europe and 5x the rate of Canada.

            Etc etc.

So the US clearly has a problem relative to its comparable Western allies. The question is why.

      2. The Dayton murderer was a radical atheist who viscerally hated Christians … and was another socially awkward incel … who was suspended from HS for creating both a HIT list of classmates to kill … and … a RAPE list of HS girls who “needed” to be raped by him.

A weirdo who found it all too easy to gear-up and go play a video game with live ammo. Where he was able to buy a drum magazine needs to be revealed, and that operation be shut down. Same with every seller and internet broadcaster of how to convert your semi-auto into a fully automatic weapon. It appears as though this LOSER had lots of free time to research automatic weapons on the web (and dark web). When I was his age, I was working my first REAL job, was married, and had just purchased my first home. THAT is the difference between ME and the shooter … I was BUILDING a life … not TEARING-DOWN others lives to make my own “meaningful”.

    4. America is the only Western country whose people have not been effectively disarmed and left unable to resist being ethnically cleansed. Our masters don’t like their slaves having the option of fighting back.

Problem: there’s too many guns in circulation to make confiscation practical. Any disarmament would have to be voluntary.

In reality, most killings carried out with guns are criminals killing other criminals. To convince honest people that guns are a problem, the Deep State have to create a problem.

Most of the mass shootings you read about in the newspapers are staged by teams of professional killers, in the pay of the Deep State. The single man always picked up afterwards is a fall guy chosen for his poverty and naivete, making it unlikely he will be able to convince a jury of his innocence, much less of what really happened.

Real lone nuts (like Marc Lépine, Adam Lanza and Connor Betts) are blessedly rare. These are invariably motivated by mental illness or a personal grudge, not by politics, patriotic or otherwise.

    5. https://www.indexmundi.com/factbook/compare/canada.united-states/demographics

326 million … 35 million. America has 10x the number of people + 22M uncounted Illegal Border jumpers than Canada. That is a very simple explanation as to why Canada has fewer of these shocking events. I assure you, America was a far more peaceful place about 300M pop. ago (except for the murderous Native people’s).

One of the truisms of competitive sports is that the larger the pool of people you have to draw from … the higher quality your team will be. It is simple statistics and probability. In America’s case … we have far more people … hence far more loons than Canada.

      And my own personal belief?
Dysfunctional American families caused by the two-working parent model of economic survival.
Dysfunctional American families caused by the welfare state replacing fathers.
Dysfunctional American families due to divorce on demand and resultant single parent households.
Dysfunctional American families due to a video game culture of social detachment.
Dysfunctional American families due to a social media sewage culture of hate and destruction.
Dysfunctional American families due to the LIE – that ‘anything you want’ defines a family

Healthy families are at the core of a healthy culture … and American families are a mess. It appears as though both these lunatic murderers came from broken families. Again … back to statistics and probability … Not EVERY offspring of dysfunctional families commits mass murder, but the MORE dysfunctional families … the MORE raging lunatics will be created.

All manner of ‘other’ causes spring from this root cause: emotional cripples, mental illness, incels, rageaholics, racists, communists, drugs, gangsta culture, … white supremacists …

And what really drives home the point is that it is now called ‘privilege’ to come from an intact two-parent Family. A “privilege” !?!! So the same type of people who mock the 1950’s model of the ‘nuclear’ Family … now call it a “privilege” if you were raised in one. Talk about confused. So nowwwwww they understand the VALUE of that family. Too bad they worked so hard to destroy it.

      1. Hi Kenji.

All of the social factors you listed—two-working parent households, the welfare state, no-fault divorce laws, video games, social media use, and permissive parenting—are all at least as prevalence if not more so in other Western nations as well.

So they’re inadequate, separately and together, as explanatory variables for the uniquely high rate of mass shootings in the US.

        1. Instead of questions, why don’t you spit out why you think mass shootings are higher in the US than other countries?

Here is a Wiki list of private gun ownership by country.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimated_number_of_civilian_guns_per_capita_by_country

The US is #1 by 120/100,000 people. Canada is #7 by 37/ 100,000 people.

The last I checked the US has 10 times more millionaires than Canada as well, including cars, boats, Nobel prize winners, and allot of other things.

The issue with Gun Violence is SOCIAL period. Anyone who thinks otherwise has deluded themselves into thinking planes fly themselves into buildings, and trucks drive themselves through crowds.

  12. Lori~”What’s unique about America — what specific combination of social factors — that adequate explains why the frequency of mass shootings is so much higher here than in any other comparable nation?”

Fact Checker Snopes.com’s big mistakes in comparing mass public shootings in the US and Europe
    https://crimeresearch.org/2018/03/fact-checker-snopes-com-big-mistake-comparing-mass-public-shootings-us-europe/

Since Europe as a whole has a population roughly equal to the United States as a whole, the statement that “the frequency of mass shootings is so much higher” in the U.S. is FACTUALLY false.

    1. Take out the big Democrat cities and Canada’s murder rate isn’t all that different from the US.
Austin Texas and Edmonton, Alberta are pretty much both smack on a million people. They both have a very similar proportion of white population.

      Edmonton, Alberta 2016 – 41 murders; 2017 – 42 murders; 2018 – 27 murders mean 37
      Austin, Texas 2016 – 39 murders; 2017 – 29 murders; 2018 – 34 murders; mean 34

Edmonton, a place where legal carry of firearms doesn’t exist, has a higher murder rate than Austin where any non-felon can legally carry open or concealed (with permit from any of 40 or so states). Murder in the US is a product of ethnic subcultures in the dying industrial S-hole cities. The two things remarkable about mass shootings is how many are white and how few people they kill in the grand scheme of things. The body count in Chicago alone likely surpasses all mass murderers in the US, but the victims are black, therefore not front page news.

    2. Hi Oz. I also responded above, but for others reading these comments, I’d say that Lott’s arguments and critiques of Snopes are interesting, but even looking at his own analyses (e.g., https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3238736), the US is clearly an outlier compared to Canada, the UK, and other (socially, economically, politically) comparable G7-type nations.

For example, in the linked 2018 paper, above, see Table 1, Attacks per 100K people, by country. The US is #58, ahead of Iraq, Somalia, the DRC, Columbia, etc., but France is #71 even with their terrorism problem, Canada is #81, Germany is #83, and the UK is #87.

          1. “Or maybe it’s their strict firearms regulations, like local gun registries”, – Lori

Hitler, Stalin, Moussalini, Mao, Chavez, Idi Amin, Pol Pot – already tried that. Didn’t work out very well.

  13. DeMarxists yell fire in a crowded theatre then blame Trump for the violence that ensues.
The “manifesto” real or otherwise, is a meandering hatred filled diatribe of everything and anything.
Unfortunately some must read the nonsense to gain predictive knowledge of killers’ intent.
As for DeMarxists bottom tier candidates taking cheap shots, nothing new here, the abuser blaming the abused.
Seb Gorka does provide cogent details, if for no other reason than to show reasonable people the Dem poison cherry picking.

“First, the shooter expresses his disdain for both major parties; he decries the Democrats’ open-borders policies while also declaring that “the Republican Party is also terrible,” since the GOP, he says, is “pro-corporation,” and “pro-corporation = pro-immigration.”

The section of his manifesto entitled “Economic Reasons” is by far the most shocking part, in terms of directly contradicting the media spin that this shooter was somehow far-right. He explicitly expresses his support for “a basic universal income,” which he says is the only thing that can “prevent widespread poverty and civil unrest.” He then goes on to support “ambitious social projects like universal healthcare.” Later, he claims that the American lifestyle “is destroying the environment of our country,” and that “the decimation of the environment is creating a massive burden for future generations.”

So clearly this killer supports some of the most openly socialist policies in American political discourse today, including universal income, socialized medicine, and a belief in “global warming.” Yet, according to the media, he is somehow just another “far-right” shooter who has been motivated by President Trump.”

Most interestingly, the shooter does mention President Trump…but not in the way the Democrats would hope. Towards the end of his “manifesto,” this Leftist murderer admits that his “ideology has not changed for several years,” and that his “opinions on automation, immigration, and the rest predate Trump and his campaign for president.”

That’s as much exposure as the killer deserves. Now he can anonymously be executed. Ban it all. Dems like bans.

“Again, the only reason that we even need to actually read the killer’s “manifesto” in the first place is to confirm the truth about why he did what he did, and to dispel the utter fiction that the media began spinning almost instantly after the shooting took place. Their determination to promote a one-sided narrative, which runs directly contrary to the truth and the facts, is playing into his hands and fulfilling his sick predictions. That is the Truth, and the Truth is what matters above all else.”

The NYT has their manifesto too, blame Trump for their incitements. When that fails, disinformation and lying will do.

“The New York Times even deliberately misattributed some of his words to certain causes. As the article says, “The manifesto that may be linked to [him] described an imminent attack and railed against immigrants, saying, ‘if we can get rid of enough people, then our way of life can be more sustainable.’” However, that particular line about “getting rid of enough people” was not in reference to immigration; it was in reference to global warming, as he wrote right before that sentence that “the next logical step is to decrease the number of people in America using resources.”

  14. I would like to ask a hypothetical and admittedly simplistic question, not for factual reference, but for perspective.
A mass shooter goes into an stereotypical western town with the townsfolk sporting six shooters and rifles. What does he do?
The Beta Pajama Boys with their gun control mantra, TDS and do nothing blame games should be careful what they wish for.
By offering power plays and grievances without solutions they are inviting Americans to arm themselves en masse as deterrence.

    1. “A mass shooter goes into an stereotypical western town with the townsfolk sporting six shooters and rifles. What does he do?”

He buys some dynamite and a timed detonator.

      1. So, if we deter an gunman, that is not good enough, because he might get some explosives?
Maybe he’ll knife the entire town instead? Or bore them to death with insipid remarks?

    1. Are you writing about what they media is accusing Trump of, what SDA commenters are assessing the lying media is telling them, or your own opinion about anything in general?
Lets look at what the media is telling us on it’s face here: Did Dan Rather fake the TANG memos to influence the 2000 election or not?
Does the media and the people who feed it their talking points lie to us on a daily basis?

SDA commenters come here to explore the angles of each issue. It’s why Kate built this place in the net. To ask the questions and explore the issues in a way that traditional media would permit even if it were technically possible. Many minds trained and experience in many disciplines get at the truth of issues in a way that has never been possible before in history. See Dan Rather’s TANG memo for reference.

That said, you’re a contrary POS. You are so often so wrong on so many issues you really should just move out of your mother’s basement and get a life. When you give an opinion such as the one above at 7:34, who exactly do you imagine respects you enough to be influenced by it? You certainly haven’t been here at SDA long enough and gotten enough positive feedback to think that your opinion matters on any issue of any kind.
