  1. Maxime Bernier
    @MaximeBernier

FYI – Info you might find useful:

Andrew Scheer was elected MP at age 25, fifteen years ago. Before that he briefly worked as a waiter and insurance broker.

    = career politician

    Maxime Bernier
    @MaximeBernier

I was 43 when I became an MP in 2006, after almost two decades working in law, banking, insurance, financial sector, advisor to Qc finance minister, and think tank.

I have experience of real life outside Ottawa.

    1. All of Max’s experience is with Quebec elites like the Demarais.
He is an insider in the elites’ house.
They were desperate to win the CPc leadership so Quebec insiders would be in control of the CPC. That’s why I never voted for the another “leader” from Quebec, they are all bought off.
      He didn’t build anything.
Why do you think he’s pulling this PPC stunt at this time???
      To help the Liberals.
      Principles & values my ar$e.

      1. If everything you say is supposedly true then why would the PPC and Max Offer the most Conservative Platforms ever offered to Canadians then? why not just copy the Liberal Platforms as Scheer and the CPC have done the Globalist Elites would never offer us what the PPC and Max are offering us so by this point you are incorrect Bod Daye.

The PPC can win a majority as long as all Conservatives minded people vote for the best conservative platforms and not throwing away their votes against getting rid of Trudeau this time and last time when Canadians voted to get rid of Harper.

That’s how the LibCons Party of one rolls they use your hatred to get you to vote the way they want you to like we have always done for only the LibCons have held the power of our Federal Government and look at the mess we are all in so that’s why it’s imperative we get rid of the LibCons this coming election.

Don’t do what the LibCons want this time and then you win and we all win…

Have Faith for there is hope so please vote for the PPC.

        https://www.peoplespartyofcanada.ca/platform

        1. Why? To bleed off support from the CPC, split the vote, and re-elect PM Troodles McStupid.
Plain as day! That is the end result. End results count.
Fight another day for your purity, like the NeverTrumpers.
I’m with Bob, just another Quebec PUPPET.

          1. K-becers travel the least to other parts of the country compared to all other Canadians. They drink wine from France. K-bec Prime Ministers take care of K-bec first and foremost. Troodles himself stated it for all to hear, “We’re better.” If Max was from anywhere but K-bec, or even had moved away decades ago, he’d get my vote . . . if I didn’t think the federation was doomed.

          2. Bob, Dan, Buddy, agree on all counts. Maxbot wants to talk policy (below). As if policy mattered here. Max can make all the empty promises he wants. I love his policy platform. So what? The easiest things in the world is to make are promises when you know you will never be required to keep any of them. Max is Turdo’s useful idiot. The only question is whether he is driven by a personal vendetta, stupidity, loyalty to Quebec, or (if he is really stupid) promises made by Libranos.

Riddle me this Maxbots: name one thing that Max is doing that Libranos would be prefer him not do? Exactly. You got nothing.

          3. Bob, Dan, Buddy, agree on all counts To elect a CPC party led by Scheer to continue to implement the leftist Globalist UN agendas.

            I don’t believe in that

I love my free speech where does scaredy-cat Scheer stand on that oh yea lookup Cooper and what Scheer did to his own member he couldn’t even standup for Coopers free speech when Cooper was defending all conservatives from a Lying Islamist…

And you three agree to that???

Splitting the vote the PPC is not splitting the conservative vote it’s gathering them for the CPC and Scheer are no longer conservatives they are liberals in a blue suit.

            You three support that???

Canadians have never had a choice until Max was thrown out of the CPC for Scheer would not implement any of his platforms even though Max had 49% of the vote from the CPC leadership convention.

You three are insane as far as I see it.

You would all be voting for Trudeau Platforms since Scheer and the CPC have adopted them all.

You three are in agreement but let me guess neither of you will try to prove what I said wrong all you will do is continue the smear job of fear and hate.

That’s all you are god for…

You all don’t want to save Canada your all out to destroy it worse than what the LibCons have already done.

Sorry I can not in good judgement standby and let that happen.

Remember all those Senate seats Harper left for Trudeau to fill and not defunding the CBC when he had a majority yeah same party same platforms that’s why you LibCons need your power over Canada and Canadians removed permanently and it will happen this October.

Lastly I want immigration reform and the PPC is the only party willing to reduce the numbers and where they come from.

I refuse to have Canada taken over by the LibCons Islamist that they care for more than every Canadian…

      2. Nice drive by smear job. Unlike PC types who worked for Demarais, what is connection between Bernier and Demarais/Power Corp?
Bernier’s father was elected CONSERVATIVE. Max was Conservative from day one. Max did work for Standard Life of the Anglo – Orange persuasion along with the rest of Bay Street.

Liberals don’t need Max to help. Scheer whips the CPC vote to support the Liberals.

  2. I’m working on settling my father’s estate so you’re not the only one who won’t have much of a holiday weekend, Kate.

I was reminded of how this “carbon footprint” poppycock has infested everyday thinking. Before exiting the plane I took to the house I inherited, the flight attendant announced that the airline is concerned about the aforementioned balderdash, so the shades on the windows facing the sun should be pulled down.

Why couldn’t she have said “pull down the shades so that it doesn’t get too hot in here”? I remember when we were advised to do that during the phony-baloney oil shortage of the early to mid-1970s and that was the language that was used. Nothing about carbon footprints. Had anyone started talking like that back then, they would have been laughed at and deservedly so.

    I guess I’m guilty of wrongthink, aren’t I?

    1. Long holidays for the self employed are looong holidays…..
No elfs to magically do the work when you’re not there to do it, unfortunately.

    2. Yep BA. “Infested everyday thinking” is bang on.
Couple days ago my neighbour was complaining about how poor his raspberries were producing this year compared to last year. LAST year!
“I guess that’s Climate change for ya”, he said. That brought a smile to my face thinking he was playing with me but NOPE. He was dead serious. You can’t reason with people like that so I just slowly walked away.

  3. The People’s Party of Canada’s Platform Compared to Conservatives, Liberals and NDP

To all of you Scheer LibCons supporters who can’t and or refuse to have a meaningful dialogue on the Platforms offering for the 2019 October election.

You have no balls just like your leader Scheer!

    1. I’m 65 and after all these years I have come to one conclusion regarding politicians. They all lie. It doesn’t matter which party, the politicians are in it for themselves. They talk a good game. Tell me how I am supposed to believe Max more than any other politician. I’m not overly impressed with Scheer. Tell me that Max has a chance of forming government. About the same chance of me buying a winning Lotto max ticket. We collectively as Canadians are getting what we’ve deserved by electing the lying politicians over many decades. How do we fix it. Short of something drastic and violent I don’t see better days ahead.
And this is the optimist in me speaking.

      1. I am 70 and agree wholeheartidely with you. I was a liberal until the first Trudeau screwed us over royally. And a conservative until Harper wimped us out. there is no one I can vote for but many I will vote against.

    2. So Max is going to balance the budget without cutting services, AND at the same time reduce business taxes, eliminate capital gains tax, AND reduce income taxes?

        1. Present some numbers.

Massive tax cuts, and no cuts to services? Show clearly what you plan to cut.

          1. Joe you know better than anyone else here the amount money spent on all the Leftist Programs will be defunded including all money sent to other countries the PPC will devote all of the Federal Power and budgets towards Canadians only no more spacial interest groups.

Well use the constitution to build all the pipelines Alberta and Saskatchewan need all the way to Irving door step so we can finally stop Canada from buying billions of Islamist Oil who send back their profits to support the Islamist Agenda in Canada.

Only a Canada first Part like the PPC is giving us all this in their platforms.

That’s why it’s critical to vote for the PPC in and do you want Scheer to let in another million plus Islamist in Canada before the next election after this one in October…

    3. Sorry to hear Max and PPC believe in climate change mitigation.

If Canada gets warmer, how is this a problem?

      1. Max doesn’t support blowing taxpayer $$$s on a fake problem like the CPC does.
Did Scheer whip that vote to support Liberals on the Paris accord?

        1. The PPC comparison says Max will focus on climate change strategies. Why have a strategy for what we both agree is a fake problem?

          1. Climate change isn’t the fake problem. Blaming it on humans emitting CO2 and using fossil fuels is the problem. Climate changes all the time, so if there is a problem with more floods in some areas, etc, governments can address that. On balance, however, Canada should be a net beneficiary of increased warming. My concern is that it may start getting cold again.

        1. …It is an undisputed fact that the world’s climate has always changed and will continue to change. Until twelve thousand years ago, much of Canada was under ice, and it is thanks to natural climate change that we can live here today.”
          —————————————————————–
That single sentence expounding a scientific fact about our geological history is not only true, but shockingly, only one party, the PPC acknowledges this.

The others, fed. and prov. suffer from a “folie a deux” as the psychologists call it.

The moribund MSM desperate desperate for survival, outperformed daily by digital citizen journalists/interviewers, pander to an increasingly totalitarian government.

          Their price, in today’s currency, $1.6 Billion (CBC) + $600 million(priv. MSM = 30 pieces of silver,

The Cultural Marxist’s are dragging us back before the Age of Science, the Age of Reason, before the Reformation, before the rise of Judeo/Christianity, back into the Age of Paganism(nature worship).

How long before the rocks of Stonehenge fall and crush them?

They’d be too blind to notice some gophers digging/undermining them?

    4. And what happened to ending equalization? Oh Max won’t.

Then how about reducing equalization? Looks like that disappeared too?

        1. Unnecessary & useless.
          #DisbandTheFederalGovernment
DND doesn’t protect us so after that, what good are the feds to anyone not employed by them? Nothing but a weight upon everyone’s ability to live free and prosper.

          1. Sad state of affairs when Feds declare climate emergency to ban drinking straws.
Wouldn’t be talking about minimum wage for working poor if Feds didn’t tax them into poverty and redistribute their earnings to progressive trough feeders.

        1. Angel, a word of advice. If you are running for office, or advocating for someone who is running (like Max), don’t insult voters.

The only people who will approve of such a tactic, are the ones, who would vote for your candidates anyway. The undecided, and those wavering, will be turned off by such a tactic.

          1. Thanks Joe

Your a kind man so thanks for that…

I will take your advice in but I shall defend the PPC from outright lies.

            No ifs ands or buts…

        2. Nutty Buddy

You spread lies and I will stand up and call you on them.

Don’t care if anyone here doesn’t like it.

You get what you you give no Nutty’s at all.

You have never stated a single CPC Platform just lies and bull.

I dare you Buddy to state one Platform that the CPC has that you think is better that the PPC?

          I double dare you…

      1. “It doesn’t matter what the PPC platform is.”

Precisely. Empty promises, one will never be required to keep, are very easy to make.

        1. So is that why Scheer CPC Platforms are so vague that way he can weasel his way in any way the Globalist want him to.

          Like no immigration numbers

Yeah I trust Scheer as much as I trust Trudeau

You LibCons are I for the surprise of your life come October 21

Those conservative platforms from the PPC will be all implemented as is…

          1. And again you’re glitching. Why are you coming back to Scheer? Can you notify your programmers to update coding? I don’t much care for Scheer. I know he is weak. You don’t need to convince me about it. Is this so hard for your coders to understand? Every time you start with all the “LibCon” bullshit you only prove how limited your range or pre-programmed responses is.

As for Scheer: he will reverse some of Librano polices like section 13 and C-71 and few others. They have done it in the past, promised to do it again, and can be reliably counted on doing it again. Those are actually important. Plus there will be few other minor to modest gains. So be it. I am playing the card that is dealt to me not the card I wish I had.

When you cannot win at least make sure the enemy does not win either.

There will be no surprises on October 21. You’re either delusional or purposefully disingenuous. PPC will not get a single seat. But that is not their objective. Their objective is to maintain Turdo in power. They might just pull it off.

          2. Harper made those changes and Scheer is no Harper at all.

So go ahead and vote in Trudeau Platforms that Scheer copied.

There is no difference in between the Libs and Cons.

We need a complete about face in Canada only the PPC is offering it and I disagree that PPC can’t form government Canadians have lived long enough to know the LibCons don’t solve problems all they do is cause them and then grow the government larger and larger and yep Scheer sure stands up for free speech see Cooper and you will lose your free speech if he wins.

Guaranteed Scheer keeps the media on the Payroll just like the Libs are now I wouldn’t expect anything different from the LibCons Party of one.

          3. Small improvements but not good enough, try updating the code once again.

Max has no support even with a massive army of online trolls clicking PPC on every poll he can’t top 5%. He is going nowhere. My prediction: not a single seat. He may cost CPC some seats and that is his only consequence. He knows it very well. Unlike his bots he is neither stupid nor naive. The only thing left for debate is his motivation. is it vendetta, loyalty to Quebec, or maybe I am overestimating him and he is stupid. Maybe a little bit of each combined with some form of payout from Libranos? Hard to say. Either way he is going nowhere and while doing it he is helping Libranos a great deal. Welcome to the real life where intentions do excuse results.

  4. Working…just finished the article.

But also outside on what was, here on southern Vancouver Island, the most beautiful summer day you could imagine. Walk, planted the last little lavender plant, sat on the patio talking the politics of shootings with my Guardian reading 18 year old.

    Perfect.

    1. Here’s the bad news for the people of Hong Kong:

      1. Hong Kong is a part of the People’s Republic of China, notwithstanding its “special region” status.

      2. The People’s Republic of China will not tolerate any form of secessionism; it’s a “One China” policy for a reason.

      3. The People’s Republic of China is not a democracy.

        1. “the long game” – That’s a good one.

Best line I heard on the Trump-China trade war so far, was:

          “Trump has elections, China doesn’t.”

        1. Why doesn’t the US claim the islands in the South China Sea on the basis that they were never granted to the Philippines on independence plus the fact that they liberated them from previous claimant, Japan. If nothing else it would piss off the Filipinos enough to advance their claim. Saipan is US territory. Send in the FBI to straighten out political interference. Start requiring visas to visit and give the Chinese none. If the Micronesians think they can get a better deal from China, all the more power to them. They might want to check first with the Tibetans and Uighurs.

  5. During the weekend of mass shootings in the United States, Groper was ranting about the intolerance of Hitler Scheer. Yes Global News reports that little Justin spoke to his loyal media about how Scheer refuses to march in homosexual parades. Nice photos of our great leader wearing pretty beads and walking with his children in the parade.

    1. The media never provides any extensive coverage (photo or otherwise) of all the gruesome shenanigans that occur at these parades.

    2. Yes Global News reports that little Justin spoke to his loyal media about how Scheer refuses to march in homosexual parades.

And, yes, that will become part of Prinz Dummkopf’s election platform and it will help him win another landslide. Then again, since he hasn’t done anything useful since he took office, what else is he going to run on?

But actually talk to western Canadian working people who’ve been affected by his war on Alberta, let alone do anything in their favour? “Eeeeewww! That’th dithguthting!”

  6. We are about to be inundated with more BS propaganda from the media. Que up the sentiments and condolences with the balloons and teddy bears and the ever incessant call for more gun control and…Oh! Yes also the blame Trump campaign. The very people that espouse all of the above are beyond rational thinking. Firstly Trump, as much as the left want to demonize him has SBA to do with these tragedies. In fact the cause of these tragedies can more appropriately be laid at the feet of the people that are blaming Trump. The “Diversity is our Strength” advocates that don’t believe in borders or walls, firmly avow that all people have the universal right to move to any country that they want to. And therein lies the rub. Why should a society that has developed, over hundreds of years of hardships and sacrifices, a country that is the envy of every other society and country in the world accept into it’s bosom anyone that is determined to destroy it. Yet that is what is happening in our Western society today and we are beginning to see the raw, visceral, emotional result of people being forced to accept an enforced ideal that runs counter to human nature. Many politicians today in their zeal to retain power are willing to sacrifice the very society that granted them that power. If we keep voting for politicians that demand our compassion and force us on a road that defies human nature we are going to see more of these tragedies and it will not end well no matter who or what they try and transfer the blame to!

    1. In reality, it was never about left versus right–conservative vs liberal.

That narrative served to distract us. It prevented us from seeing that it has always been about good versus evil. Dark versus light.

Evil philosophies have flown under the cover of and have been accepted as part of popular political ideologies.

It’s difficult to convincingly argue that political ideologies are morally evil. People tend to associate evil with religious ideologies (like Satanism) and not political ones.

A political (left versus right) narrative was contrived and popularized to hide the question of morality–of good verus evil.

“My political views aren’t evil, they’re just different from yours.”

That same false narrative is being used today in the MAGA community.

People attempt to justify evil behavior with a political viewpoint: “But I support Trump.”

There is a deceptive inference here which says that only good people support Trump. If you accept this premise, any behavior is acceptable because supporting Trump is the only thing that matters.

Evil behavior flies under the cover of political ideology and is accepted by many despite the fact that the behavior itself is obviously evil.

Despite deflection, obfuscation and excuses, the evaluation of human behavior always comes down to the question of good versus evil.

        Said no one ever.
Quite the opposite, our progressive comrades and RINOs both preface their hatred with “Orange Man Bad” and then claim the contempt and hatred they spew upon voters who support trump, is civil discourse.
Trump gets grudging support and respect because of the “quality” of his enemies.
Who,you might have noticed, are still throwing a Temper Tantrum cause”Trump”.
After near 3 years, you might think a new tactic is called for.

  7. Maxime Bernier
    @MaximeBernier

Hey @CBCNews, your leftist activist masquerading as a journalist
@JonGatehouse made a series of fundamental statistical and logical mistakes when he “fact checked” my speech on immigration.

    Will you publish an erratum?

    Patrick Grady
    @Patrick_M_Grady
Our “fact check” of the #CBC “Fact Check” of @MaximeBernier on the high cost of immigration found the CBC’s claim false, not Bernier’s. For the CBC’s specific mistakes , see

  8. Little Justin just can’t stop sticking his nose into matters that are a provincial responsibility. The Toronto Star reports that the Liberals may come up with a plan for a nation wide minimum wage. That will show that evil Doug Ford for freezing the minimum wage in Ontario.

  9. Over a dozen people have been shot in diverse Toronto so far this weekend. Obviously Nazis are running rampant in the city. Where is Ralphie?

    1. At the cottage, as far away from his “diverse” pets as possible, sipping a fine vintage, and having a good laugh at our expense.

  10. National Post website reports that Justin is rewarding his friends at Irving Shipyards again. Groper gave a 67 million dollar contract to Irving for emergency towing services on the west coast. However ship towing firms in B.C. are challenging the contract stating that Irving’s ships don’t have the power to tow. Geeze, don’t these guys in B.C. realize there is an election coming. Justin attended your homosexual parade, what more do you want.
