  1. I’m thinking Boris might have received a late night call from either Pelosi, Trudeau, or Merkel before coming down with “COVID-19”. I know I’d be sick after such a call.

    1. You think Trudeau merits inclusion in the list of powerful leaders who could make such a difference? I disagree.

  2. Hmm. So he tested positive on entry, negative on exit? Either the test results were ‘dubious’ or the treatment eradicated the virus?

    1. I suspect ChiCom test kits …

You have to remember … the NHS is ordered … by politicians … to purchase their equipment from “favored sources”. Government medicine. Not the best. But the most politicized.

  3. I also note that even during the 48 hours when his condition was, at least as he reports it, touch and go, they treated him for hypoxia with oxygen and never intubated him.

  4. “Hydroxychloroquine won’t kill you. The media will.”
That, ladies and germs, sums up the press in Canada and the US.
    They have become malevolent.

  5. B. Johnson tests positive March 27
    Hospitalized April 5
    Admitted to ICU April 6
    Out of ICU April 9
    Tests NEGATIVE April 13.
    What a miraculous recovery.

April 7 Trudeau announced a 30,000 ventilator contract. Cost is approx $30,000
3-4 days BEFORE that I read on SDA that ventilators were the Wrong approach and only oxygen was required to stabilize a patient.

I am so glad Health Canada is at the frontlines of Covid 19 research. That “The Science is Settled” on Hydroxychloroquine and ventilators

Dr Tam can you tell us what the WHO has to say about all of this?

    1. Has Boris been tested for the ChiCom-19 antibodies? Wouldn’t he HAVE to have them as a recoveree of ChiCom-19? Couldn’t his plasma be used as a treatment for other sickened Britains? Shouldn’t he donate his blood in a Nationally televised demonstration of compassionate donations?

  6. Surber notes that despite repeated successes around the globe with the Zelenko regimen, that each success is treated as “anecdotal”.

At what point does cumulative success become more than anecdotal? Short term intake of HCL is not going to harm anyone.

Media is absolutely trying to scare the public into being against HCL – as such the inverse would be its very very effective. As shown.

But media continues to pimp the meme that we will only be able deal with Covid with a vaccine. in 18 months – after the economies of the world are destroyed.

But if you look at the success rates of flu vaccines year to year – they are between about 20 – 60 % effective.

Lets take a midpoint – 40%. So lets say a Covid vaccine would successfully eliminate 40% of potential infections – and as such deaths (maybe)

Ill bet that the HCL, Zinc Zpac regimen will beat that by a country mile. So no reason to shut the country down. Hence the media trying to destroy a successful treatment.

Lots of sick sailors on AC carriers. Great place for Trump to do his own testing.

Current studies all seem to be using HCL only – which will not be as successful as Zelenko regimen – which I suspect is the intent.

    1. “Ill bet that the HCL, Zinc Zpac regimen will beat that by a country mile. ”

I’ll bet you have no serious evidence of that whatsoever.

  7. I took a weekly dose of 400mg Hydroxychloroquine (as did millions of others living in malarial areas) for nine months every year for ten years as a prophylactic. I can’t remember anyone complaining of adverse effects. When the malaria parasite became resistant the drugs that replaced it all had unwelcome to nasty side effects.

  8. Yup, it’s an Easter miracle I tells ya. The numbers aren’t adding up folks. Full stop.
Is John Hopkins actually suggesting that China, where this virus originated, and with a population of 1.4 billion had only 2 deceased yesterday and the U.S. had a whopping 772 deceased????? If John Hopkins U have doubts about China’s honesty with respect to deaths at least take the time to put an asterisk beside them and inform the world how damn dubious their claims are.
Further – If the CDC is lumping in everyone who’s put on a ventilator and dies as “Death by Covid”, forget about it…your data is immediately suspect. As for Health Canada…pffffttt, who the hell believes anything that comes from them anymore?
Am I saying the Covid19 is a conspiracy? No, but if it’s the real deal why do they feel it’s necessary to gin up the numbers.

As Crowder says…if flu deaths and pneumonia deaths this year are at 0, which they are, something else is going on.
That said, it’s a teachable moment for all of us as to just how easily our civil Liberties can disappear at the drop of a hat.
Proving yet again how the much vaunted Charter of Rights isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

Oh hey, remember the good ol’ days when the media and others claimed Harper would become a dictator??? Those sure were good times.

    1. The Canadian Charter of Rights?

The one that left out a quarter of the population?
The one that delineates different classes of Canadians?
The one that irrevocably(realistically) puts the millstone of phony bilingualism around the neck of Canada and poor little New Brunswick but not Quebec?
The one made by lawyers and politicians for lawyers and politicians?
The one where Trudeau told complaining Quebecois, ” I gave you keys to the country, use them?
      The one without property rights?
The one with minimal rights determined by Liberal appointed, Liberal approved, Liberal anointed, Liberal bought Judges?

Canadians have gotten the government they deserve for the last 52 years.
      Lousy but deserved.
It’s going to get a lot worse.
      That too will be deserved.

Canadians, collectively, are a pretty pathetic bunch.
      It’s gonna hurt.

      1. The ONLY thing the Canadian “Charter of Rights and sundry BS” is good for is alleviating the current toilet paper shortage.

  9. Herd immunity is the only thing that will prevent a second economic shutdown, likely within months. Effective heard immunity requires 60-70+ percent of the population being immune, to prevent overloading the medical system that happens with a high infection rate.

There are two ways to get there: 1. vaccine- not predicted to be developed for 18 months or longer. 2. The 60-70 percent of the population to have developed immunity from having been infected and recovered. Otherwise the economy will be shut down a 2nd and even a 3rd time. Natural progress to that level will take up to 2 years. The other way to get it done faster and in a controlled manner is… _*_____________________________ (fill in the blank)
and with the treatment protocol as back up. No provincial or our federal government is adult enough to approve that, so I predict another 1-2 mass quarantines, with economic consequences that will have a higher morbidity and mortality than the Wuhan virus.

*(you’d start with emergency/health service staff)

  10. Thanks to Quicksilver above for laying out the timeline of Boris’ infection and recovery. Very glad he is doing well.

There is a study being done by the University of Calgary on the efficacy of Hydroxychloroquine. Have not looked at it too closely to see if they are doing the complete Zelenko protocol. The target study is for 1600 patients to be treated. I imagine they will be using a placebo as well as I recall that it was supposed to be a double-blind study. Alberta has had a total of 1651 cases as of yesterday. 823 recovered. (Unfortunately, 44 have passed) This provides plenty of wiggle room for EVERY SINGLE ALBERTAN to be treated with the Zelenko protocol. I believe that is how they are getting around the bullsh!t at Health Canada

  11. If only we knew about Chloroquine before! Oh, wait, we had a clue, we just forgot to follow up and do more testing, just in case.

    “Conclusion
Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.”

  12. Going forward it will be fashionable to be able to claim you are a covid 19 survivor, and there will be no shortage of “celebrities” claiming they had it. Half the population of the world are hypochondriacs. All I would have to do is go to work and sneeze and I’d get a paid two week vacation. I haven’t, and wouldn’t do that, but I suspect there are no shortage of people who would, even prime ministers.

  13. Taken from the more recent post. Huh?

    6) Every single ICU patient (barring QTc issues) got hydroxychloroquine and it doesn’t seem to have helped. Maybe it helps for prophylaxis or in mild disease, but doesn’t appear to do anything once in ICU. It is NOT a pancea and should not be given indiscriminately.

    1. Read that too. Perhaps it is better in the early stages or as a prophylaxis. Was it used by itself or as Zelenko recommends? Once a person hits the ICU is something like Remdesivir the only (or better) route to go? Even read in other “anecdotal” evidence that some patient in ICU are actually “free” or almost “free” of the virus itself but, for whatever reason, they get hit by this Cytokine Storm that actually kills them. If that is indeed the case, no anti-viral will do anything against a virus that is no longer there. There are, however, other medications that are supposed to be applied against the cytokine storm. Yet another immuno-suppresant!

  14. Just think if Obama had of touted this drug. In an election year. Gawwwwwd! Another Nobel Peace/Science/Medicine /Chemistry/Literature (why not) prize would be only the START of the accolades.

  15. “Related?”

In the sense that it’s part of a theme of the NuRight going totally insane, then yes it’s related.

    1. yes unDork, you are smarter and better informed than all those doctors who say hydroxychloroquine does the job in a lot of cases. You know those French doctors, Chinese doctors, and all those american doctors. I go with the damn stuff has been tried and works.
