Funny that they have nothing to say about Blackface, at least as it pertains to the Canadian PM Jr. Trudeau.
Funny that the School District is claiming POC are “marginalized” because they don’t celebrate Halloween. Bullshit. My wife has taught 1st grade in an “urban” school district for 30years. Yes, she has had some children most every year who do not participate in Halloween. Yes, those were all black kids. But their “blackness” was NEVER the REASON they didn’t celebrate or participate in Halloween.
The reason? They were ALL Jehovahs Witnesses !!!! .
In the name of DEI … the Seattle school has conveniently left out the ONLY reason POC don’t celebrate Halloween … they’re Jehovah’s Witnesses … you know … Michael Jackson’s Religion. So the DEI liars are LYING about POC not celebrating Halloween … they’re hiding the RELIGIOUS reason for it. Guess separation of church and state ENDS when it’s a (mostly) black sect.
And BTW … the (black) JW’s also do not celebrate; birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Valentines, Thanksgiving … any and all festivals not directly sanctioned by the JW Church. So … if you believe this will stop at Halloween … just wait.
And they don’t participate in the Pledge of Allegiance, nor do they sing the National Anthem (say … was Kaepernick a JW?).

What bemused me when I read about this earlier today was that the claim was that black boys were being picked on because black boys didn’t celebrate Halloween.
Strong implication here is that if black BOYS were being identified then black GIRLS must be all over International Pumpkin Day like a rash.
Which, based on the latest patch of the Rules of Wokeness, means that cancelling this event is sexist against girls and also probably makes you a Vax Denier and deliberate user of single use plastics.
