We, We, We…all the way Home

Sometimes they(CBC) do some decent work

CBC- WE Charity misled donors about building schools in Kenya, records show

“They’re relying on the good grace of donors to just not ask too many questions? That’s just wrong. It’s a breach of trust,” she said.

The documents show that schoolhouses were routinely double-, triple- and quadruple-matched to large donors, a practice confirmed to The Fifth Estate by former WE employees. In one example, eight major donors are stated to have funded the same schoolhouse.

Then again they seem to have missed some well known, key details.

And why is it they always have friends?

  1. And to be clear, don’t think that schools in Kenya built in villages are anything like schools here. They are extremely basic and cost very little to build.

    1. Leads one to wonder who is paying to re-name schools in Canada, and who is selling them that opportunity.

  2. Oh, this again. All of it has been brought to light already.
Will anything resembling justice be done this time?
And it looks like David Stillman is cut from the same cloth as the brothers K.

Exactly. Long before MotherCorpse “discovered” it. I read about this elsewhere, weeks ago.

Once again, Fransisco, why give them the clicks? They are the enemy. If you find that they’ve accidently committed an act of journalism, look elsewhere. It’s already been covered.

  3. the keilburgers.
dontcha wanna just severely punch them out? especially the curly haired one.
wipe those smug expressions off for good.

  4. Old news.

The WEasel brothers are facing legal troubles in the US. One can only hope they fall afoul of an ambitious prosecutor.
Their criminal actions won’t draw a lick of attention in Canada.

  5. Interesting how, in your world, the CBC all of a sudden is credible, fair and balanced when they’re helping your narrative.
So which is it? Is the CBC a sinkhole of money, a giant teet for lefties and agenda-pushers? Or does it do a fair and balanced job? Because judging from SDA’s postings, it apparently can be both, as needed.

    1. The CBC is a sinkhole of money, a giant teet for lefties and agenda-pushers. Once every 3 years someone at the CBC gets so frustrated they publish a fair and balanced piece of journalism. A billion per story seems like a lot of money for quality journalism.

      1. There`s a principle of “declaration against interest” which tells you that a claim, even from someone with little credibility, can be treated as credible if it actually harms the interests of the person making it. People make shit up to suit their interests, not to harm them.

I’d say one can apply that principle here without in any way endorsing or approving the CBC. They’re not credible, fair or balanced, they just happen to be telling the truth this time. Not because they want to; because they can’t conceal it any longer.

    2. “ Is the CBC a sinkhole of money, a giant teet for lefties and agenda-pushers? Or does it do a fair and balanced job?”

      Approximately 90%/10%.
