    1. He makes a good point about ‘Conservative’ Party being the PC’s.
I remember when there was no difference between Mulroney’s PC Party and the Libs. Hence the Reform Party emerged.
      History repeats itself.

    1. Net zero is a physical impossibility even if every human on planet is dead. Of course if we were all dead there would be no one to worry about things that just don’t matter.

  1. The final serial in the Flash Gordon trilogy, Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe:

The plot’s hokey, the sets are cheap, and the special effects are cheesy. It has its usual twists, turns, and side stories and Ming is still plotting his dastardly deeds. Still, it’s a bit of fun to watch.

By the way, long-time viewers of Turner Classic Movies might have seen this one as it was broadcast in its entirety a few years ago.

    1. Closing the pubs for Christmas and New Years…so people won’t suffer 2 or 3 days of non-life threatening illness. This just gets better and better.

The Irish finally get their chance to rule the world.

    2. People have become walking talking zombie morons. Covid was is and continues to be a lie. Time to stand up and tell the truth. It isn’t killing anymore people than the seasonal flu and like the flu it is, it is not going away, get over it.

        1. Interesting. Couple months back I dropped down into an internet rabbit hole searching for evidence that the virus had ever been isolated. After an hour or so and dozens of links, no dice. Now I know why.

          Thx for the link.

  2. All you covid warriors… keep on keeping on…
thumbs up…good job, this song is for you:
    https://youtu.be/I52eefwAKDE

    P.S.
At a bookstore yesterday I ordered a copy of R.F.K. Jr’s book, business completed, my phone rang so I answered it in the corner of the store where I was easily 20 ft away from anyone. I half slid off my useless surgical mask so I could talk and breathe. So, well, ‘Karen’ found me and from 6 ft away, ordered me to put on a mask. Instinct took over and I said…”I’m on the phone!” She left me alone! Wow! I think they’re even getting weary of this fussy nonsense. Right, of course, it would have been different if I was eating!

    Enjoy the song.

    1. Earlier this week, I walked over to a pet supply store to buy a present for my canine step-brother. On one part of the sidewalk, an elderly lady–unmasked–came towards me on the opposite side.

As I was about to pass by her, she stopped and turned to face away from me, even though we would have been at least the Holy Distance apart. Never mind that the probability that any bug could have been transmitted was asymptotically approaching zero.

The phrase “You can’t fix stupid” was on my mind as I continued on my way.

    2. C M and B A:
      Guys…the World has gone mad…
…what VOWG and Steakdude and others dutifully share with us.

      1. The world hasn’t gone mad as much as stupidity has become a public virtue. Don’t think. Don’t speculate. Don’t take personal responsibility for anything.

Above all, when the proverbial hits the fan, whine that the earlier nay-sayers didn’t try hard enough to convince the sheeple.

        1. “Don’t think. Don’t speculate. Don’t take personal responsibility for anything.”

Well said. In hierarchical systems anyone who thinks for themself often and quickly gets shunned.

        2. In my job…closing in on retirement, I’m the guy who stands at the door of the store asking for proof of vaccination. I’ve been introducing myself as being with ‘Trudeau’s KGB’.

          1. Not surprised. People have been earning their thirty pieces for millennia.
            Just a note.
When it hits the fan, it won’t matter if you were a reluctant nazi, just the fact that you were, will be sufficient.

    3. Nancy, We have to resist this nonsense. You did good!
Leonard and Friends is my favorite group. Great music, nice people.

  3. I keep telling BAD that progress is being made…

Finally, a Fusion Reaction Has Generated More Energy Than Absorbed by The Fuel
For the first time, a fusion reaction has achieved a record 1.3 megajoule energy output – and for the first time, exceeding energy absorbed by the fuel used to trigger it.
These X-rays implode the fuel capsule, heating and compressing it to conditions comparable to those in the center of a star – temperatures in excess of 100 million degrees Celsius (180 million Fahrenheit) and pressures greater than 100 billion Earth atmospheres – turning the fuel capsule into a tiny blob of plasma. The whole process takes place in just a few billionths of a second.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/finally-a-fusion-reaction-has-generated-more-energy-than-absorbed-by-the-fuel/ar-AARplrv?ocid=uxbndlbing

    1. A concept has been proven, at least on a small scale. Fine, but can someone now build a machine that not only sustains that reaction but do so economically and actually be useful? Until that happens, fusion will remain a laboratory experiment.

In my time in R & D, I’ve often seen that sort of thing only to have it completely disappear or gather dust in some warehouse. The practical aspect is usually what kills such ideas.

        1. The high temperatures are one way of providing the energy required for the atoms to collide.

      1. BAD – Did you know it was the Russians who invented the Tokamak reactor concept?

In a mostly unrelated note, I hope:

US intelligence finds Russia planning Ukraine offensive

From the Canadian Press no less… https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/us-intelligence-finds-russia-planning-ukraine-offensive/ar-AARrMDx?ocid=msedgntp

What could possibly go wrong? “President Joe Biden pledged Friday to make it “very, very difficult” for Russia’s Vladimir Putin to take military action in Ukraine as U.S. intelligence officials determined that Russian planning is underway for a possible military offensive that could begin as soon as early 2022”

        1. Did you know it was the Russians who invented the Tokamak reactor concept?

Yes, I did. I first heard about tokamaks in the 1970s. News about them slowly made its way to the west a number of years earlier, partly because Soviet journals weren’t readily available.

          1. BAD – You are a wealth of knowledge.

Re Fusion: with breakthroughs happening every month something has to give:
            – Korea’s Cutting-Edge Fusion Reactor Just Broke Its Own Record For Containing Plasma
Barely a year after the Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) broke one record for fusion, it’s smashed it again, this time holding onto a churning whirlpool of 100 million degree plasma for a whole 30 seconds.
            – China’s Advanced ‘Artificial Sun’ Fusion Reactor Just Broke a New World Record
On Friday, the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ fusion machine reached 120 million degrees Celsius (216 million degrees Fahrenheit) and clung onto this for 101 seconds.

This could be great news for “people”kind, or we could end up looking like this: https://www.wired.com/images_blogs/threatlevel/2012/12/death-star.jpg

          2. One of the problems with these experiments is whether they can be scaled to be commercially viable. The test you cited used nearly 200 lasers, something that a power utility may not want to consider.

I’ve often referred to the polywell, one example of inertial confinement fusion. It’s a much simpler design and, presumably, could be scaled to a size that might make it practical.

Yes, proving the concept is important, but then what? The general public would take fusion seriously if it saw a power station built and operating using one of those methods. Until then, it’s simply the plaything of academics and the occasional backroom boffin.

    2. 100 million degrees Celsius – 100 billion atmospheres pressure!
Do Earth-borne materials exist which can withstand such conditions?

      1. HarryR. Re: Do Earth-borne materials exist which can withstand such conditions? No, that’s why the recent breakthroughs in super- conductive magnet technology are so important.

  5. The object of the “vaccine” is to weaken the immune system so people will die without it being blamed on the vaccine.
And covid-19 was developed to have a reason to administer the vaccine.
That is why there is the effort to get everyone vaccinated. That’s also why the “vaccine” does NOT prevent getting or transmitting the disease. And its also why there was a big push to declare ANY treatments(i,e, chloroquine, ivermectin) to be dangerous and ineffective. Its also why they keep coming up with new variants-to scare people into getting the vaccine.
However, there may still be hope as there is an effort to come up with a way to detoxify your body after receiving the vaccine.

      1. “Maybe if we set up a punch-card system we can get a free coffee and doughnut after the tenth shot.”

Too funny, Chris. I am warning you now that I will be using that line.

    1. I have been using Black Seed Oil and Quercetin successfully to counteract crippling inflammation in my knee joint, suspected to be a vaccine reaction. I have gone from limited mobility to playing golf and riding my bicycle and plan to ski over Christmas. It had an immediate effect and I suspect that I will need to continue this detox regime indefinitely.

  6. A favourite, Leonid and Friends do a terrific job with this Chicago cover:

    “When I’m with you,
it doesn’t matter where we are,
    or what we’re doing,
    I’m here,
    that’s all that matters”…

    1. Read some of the comments and their accompanying replies, quite informative. A lot of discussion on statistics, but as I have always said there is a difference between theory and reality. There’s numbers (theory) and the dead (reality) and the funeral homes would have the validation of the theory.

  7. Question: I’ve been wondering why Israel would vaccinate their population if the vaccination is some type of killer. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Can someone out there explain?

    1. Question: I’ve been wondering why Canada/US/Europe would vaccinate their population if the vaccination is some type of killer. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Can someone out there explain?

      1. Rusty; you know the old maxim, “Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.”
Going from the Wuhan fiasco to deliberately trying to wipe out humans is a huge leap.
What would be the point? Seriously; no markets and no products.
Makes absolutely no sense from any viewpoint.
The above does NOT discount the possible intent of deliberately trying to economically weaken the West. If THAT was the objective it seems to be working rather well.

    2. It’s one thing to question the efficacy and safety of a novel technology, and/or oppose mandates — it’s quite another to fling oneself head first over a cliff of “it’s programmed to kill everyone”.

      1. That’s my point.
I question its effectiveness. I can’t comment on safety but I’m not dead after being forced to get shot.
My point is that more than a few here think its a poison dart.
I think the Israelis of all people, would be the last to administer it to their people as opposed to other nations.
        But I could be wrong.

        1. So you think that the push to get everyone in the world vaccinated, including children and even babies — who have no possibility of dying or even getting serious Covid symptoms (unless they have previous serious conditions) — is about health?

I suggest you read or reread Reiner Fuel knight’s interview with Dr. David Martin. And subsequent stuff from Martin. The patents are the key?

          1. “So you think that the push to get everyone in the world vaccinated, … — is about health?”

Can you try not being disingenuous when framing a question? Is it possible that this is not a binary world, and that the only two possible options aren’t “they want o kill us all” and “is about health”?

Wuhan Flu is unlikely to kill you. Vaccines are unlikely to kill you. Both can have lasting negative effects. But most of the time they probably don’t. Is vaccine safer? Possibly at the mean, possibly not. There are certainly segments of population for whom I have seen no evidence of need to vaccinate. The decision should always be individual and no restrictions should be imposed on those who decline. I think we at least agree on the last part.

Let me propose an alternative. It is about conditioning. It is about getting people used to having a boot on their neck. Give any government an excuse and opportunity to exercise their power and they will.

And that is the real crime the governments are committing, they are forcing a risk on people who are safe in order to appease those they have scarred and in order to condition to submission. They are enforcing collectivism. You have surely heard the resident subhumans xiplaining that children should be vaccinated because they transfer disease. They are willing to put your child at risk (however small) to fell safe. This is collectivism, and it is vile and is another step in the decline of the Western Civilization. Every time one of them speaks about “social responsibility” they deserve a blade in their eye socket.

          2. I think the “passport” works in an Israeli setting because they are a collective sort of state.
They have many real enemies that are close and deadly.
There is some logic and reality behind a passport/tracking citizens.

In Canada, Frozen Sheepleland, the state acts as if its people are the enemy.

Maybe the goal in the west is a Great Leap Forward for its “Children”.
Suddenly the state monitors your every move and exhalation but for those who don’t know better, its the New Normal.

Conditioning children from the get-go that Big Brother is actually Big Mommy seems more realistic than a deadly virus that isn’t, or a deadly vaccine that isn’t.

  8. Anyone else watch part 4 of “Covid Revealed” last night?

From about 1:22 into it the explanation for the excess deaths in the US are explained; the official NIH protocol of remdesivir causes fatal liver failure.

What is more shocking is that the use of remdesivir was personally directed by Fauci who, in 2019, had sponsored a trial of this drug and three others in Africa against Ebola. In that trial remdesivir killed 64% of the people it was given to and had to be pulled from the trial. The other treatments, one of which was created my the NIH, one of which came from DARPA, didn’t do much better; they killed around 30% of those they were administered to.

There’s more to the story but remdesivir used in combination with dexamethzone basically causes the liver to fail and the patient to drown from fluid build up in the lungs.

Anyway it’s better if you watch it yourself. The video is only available till tonight when they put up part five of the series.

Part four start at 1:22 in.

  10. Is Alec Baldwin’s Stephanopoulos Interview INCRIMINATING? Vive Frei Vlawg

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKPyjoByi50

Vive does his usual quality analyzing, here.

I am fascinated to watch this all unfold and to witness Baldwin try to wield his woke, white liberal privilege in order to cheat the justice system and his victims. So far, I estimate he is doing only slightly better than Jussie Smollett was at this point in his post-crime PR tour.

Baldwin just can’t keep his big mouth shut. I haven’t actually checked this, but I am pretty sure that if you look up the definition of the word “narcissist” in the dictionary, there is simply a photo of Alec Baldwin there.

    1. What no one has mentioned, is that the woman he killed was not an actress and was not in the scene. I suspect Alec was being a jackass as is his persona and pointed the gun at her in jest and accidently pulled the trigger. In any event he has to be charged or the whole justice system is in the toilet

      1. The whole thing defines involuntary manslaughter. No intent at any harm of any sort, just reckless stupidity that caused her death. How could you ever charge anyone with this crime after ignoring Baldwin? He has to spend at least 6 months to 2 years in jail or the justice system is nothing but bullshit.
