  1. And this differs from which government announced 1955 exactly? The liberals do this! The liberals do that!
    Exactly where in the last 40 years has the line been drawn between a good and bad government in this country?

    1. That’s easy! In the last 40 years there hasn’t been a good gov’t. Only various shades of the same colour: calf scours yellow. For the uninitiated, that’s bovine diarrhea.

  2. In Trudeauland, hypocrites run free in how our politicians avoid real issues creating new ones that we didn’t have before.
    Thanks to our broken judiciary, Trudeau uses the press for his own private propaganda machine with no consequences to his decisions as our other politicians join in on the same destructive country destroying path.

  3. Another boliviating piece by Rex documenting the same old things that ought not to be in this moribund country of malaise and mediocrity.
    In my younger years I thought these articles would incite change, but as the years tick by it becomes obvious that writing lamentations like this just amounts to a conservative hobby.
    Old man punches at the wind.

  4. I went into a public-‘ouse to get a pint o’ beer,
    The publican ‘e up an’ sez, “We serve no red-coats here.”
    The girls be’ind the bar they laughed an’ giggled fit to die,
    I outs into the street again an’ to myself sez I:
    O it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Tommy, go away”;
    But it’s “Thank you, Mister Atkins”, when the band begins to play,
    The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play,
    O it’s “Thank you, Mister Atkins”, when the band begins to play.

    I went into a theatre as sober as could be,
    They gave a drunk civilian room, but ‘adn’t none for me;
    They sent me to the gallery or round the music-‘alls,
    But when it comes to fightin’, Lord! they’ll shove me in the stalls!
    For it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Tommy, wait outside”;
    But it’s “Special train for Atkins” when the trooper’s on the tide,
    The troopship’s on the tide, my boys, the troopship’s on the tide,
    O it’s “Special train for Atkins” when the trooper’s on the tide.

    Yes, makin’ mock o’ uniforms that guard you while you sleep
    Is cheaper than them uniforms, an’ they’re starvation cheap;
    An’ hustlin’ drunken soldiers when they’re goin’ large a bit
    Is five times better business than paradin’ in full kit.
    Then it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Tommy, ‘ow’s yer soul?”
    But it’s “Thin red line of ‘eroes” when the drums begin to roll,
    The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll,
    O it’s “Thin red line of ‘eroes” when the drums begin to roll.

    We aren’t no thin red ‘eroes, nor we aren’t no blackguards too,
    But single men in barricks, most remarkable like you;
    An’ if sometimes our conduck isn’t all your fancy paints,
    Why, single men in barricks don’t grow into plaster saints;
    While it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Tommy, fall be’ind”,
    But it’s “Please to walk in front, sir”, when there’s trouble in the wind,
    There’s trouble in the wind, my boys, there’s trouble in the wind,
    O it’s “Please to walk in front, sir”, when there’s trouble in the wind.

    You talk o’ better food for us, an’ schools, an’ fires, an’ all:
    We’ll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational.
    Don’t mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face
    The Widow’s Uniform is not the soldier-man’s disgrace.
    For it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Chuck him out, the brute!”
    But it’s “Saviour of ‘is country” when the guns begin to shoot;
    An’ it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ anything you please;
    An’ Tommy ain’t a bloomin’ fool — you bet that Tommy sees!

  5. Any veteran who believed what Juthtin said/promised is a f*cking idiot.
    I mean, you’re a walking retard if you believed this phony phuck.
    Frankly, any soldier or veteran who thinks politicians give a sh!t about them is an imbecile.

    1. I can tell by the language……”Buddy” most likely spent time in Uniform.

      probably the Navy….

      Ready Aye Ready…..

  6. Canadians just aren’t worth it, no point for kids to sign up unless it’s for the uniformed civil service part of the military, which is probably most of them, thousands work in Ottawa.

    1. Those who are capable of fighting anything are a very small number, the rest are paper pushing bureaucrats. There is more military power in Fort Drum NY than all of the Canadian military.

  7. I responded to that column by Rex, and my comment was “moderated” into nothingness. I followed all of the rules, but apparently criticism of the great dear Leader….is not allowed.

    On another note, Trudeau and his crowd made a big deal of getting rid of the lump sum payments for wounded veterans; and instead gave them a “pension for Life.”
    How did that work out? Well…here is one example.

    A fellow wounded vet I know, lost his potential $360,000 lump sum payment for traumatic head injury and spinal damage….and instead, was given the “pension for life” in the sum of $53 a month.

    Yep….lost a potential sum that could have made a big difference in his life, and instead got enough to buy himself a timmies for almost every day of the month.

    For any veteran reading this. You DO NOT go to veterans affairs if you are having trouble making ends meet, or having your medical needs or claims addressed. YOU GO TO THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION…..these are the only people who actually care about your condition. Remember, Veterans affairs is just a professional bureaucracy; they don’t actually give a damn about you. They are just filling a spot long enough to get promoted out of Veterans affairs to some cushy job in Ottawa. Most of the senior people in VA…..look down upon those they are supposed to serve.

    If you need help. Go to the Legion. They go to bat for you. They approach the job differently than the Veterans affairs people. They are there to help you, whereas VA is just there to run interference so you don’t say anything bad about the Government.

    1. jamesHalifax – the Legion, are you fucking kidding. The Legion is only good for their Poppy-Nazis. I have looked and have not found a Legion that is welcoming or helpful, unless you serviced in Korea or earlier conflicts. I would trust DVA (and that is saying something) than the Legion. Them ass-wipes are sucking up good air and should be shot, if it wasn’t a waist of a bullet.

      1. Apparently, my Legion reps are more concerned than were yours.

        The Legion can put you in touch with the right people…….but it depends upon the region to get you the right rep.

  8. Canadians gladly voted for a man who threatened to sue a veteran and his false leg.

    We know what kind of parasites Justin and his family are.

    What does it say when people know and don’t care?
