4. I just drove thru some HARD streets of Oakland this afternoon – down and around West MacArthur. Yeah … take your mess and leave it in your blue “progressive” hole. There aren’t just homeless tents everywhere … and half-dead humans shuffling on their feet. But the streets are FILLED (as in no on-street parking spaces vacant) with RV’s and bombed-out busses serving as housing. Yes … busses … full size busses at the curb … peeling paint, sheets hung for curtains … worse than any image I’ve seen of The Great Depression. I turned another corner and there were FOUR bombed-out busses … two on each side of the street, with trash and “found objects” (to be polite) strewn around them.

   Yes, CA is in a new Depression. The divide between the haves and the have-nots is widening … and is on stark display for all to see. My advice? Roll up your windows, and lock the doors … and keep moving. Do NOT stop … for any reason.
