  1. Glowball News’ cut of the 600 million can only go so far.
(Cue the Sarah McLaughlin sappy song)
Won’t you help? Poor unfortunates like little David is achin’ for a handout, not a hand up and your contribution to his Pay For My Blue Checkmark Or I’m Leaving Fund will help put little David back on Easy Street.
He’d do the same for you, right David? Right…?

  2. He’s going to be the Terry Milewski of the next election. I just hope he’s allowed on the leaders tour and is tasked with following Pierre Poliviere. Do it for the lulz.

  3. Could he be the biggest horse’s ass in Canadian media? There’s a lot to choose from so take your time answering.

  4. I can write his opinion on anything. For free, although I may reward myself with a muffin.
He thinks people will pay for the same endless liberal opinion. The legacy types are just not getting it.

  5. Thanks Kate! Love your sense of mischief!!
    This is hilarious!
Looking forward to his (arrogant) response.

  6. “There’s no business case to be made to pay for a blue check.”
“There’s no business case to be made to export LNG.” (Trudeau)

Neither one knows anything about business nor much about anything else.

  7. How did David make out in front of the Trudeau Media Licensing Board when he was called before it for his unprofessional behaviour and breach of their media standards.
He was called before them to justify his unprofessional behaviour, wasn’t he?

If not, what is the point of having a media licensing board that hands out credentials?

Has CBC been called in to explain their lies about the Freedom convoy?

  8. Kate, somebody didn’t understand Satire and donated $5. Haha. It was probably David’s Mom. She’s a Character. FILTHY LIBERALS

  9. He’s not wrong, though. Twitter, Facebook et al represent the tragedy of the commons: they’re only ubiquitous because they’re free. “Ad-supported” hasn’t been a viable Internet business model for a very long time, and subscription fees only work if you have a service people are willing to pay for and that number of people is large enough to pay your operating costs. Neither is true for Twitter (or Facebook et al). How many of you pay for Blacklocks? Steyn? Anyone’s substack? And those are outlets with real, intelligently written news coverage at a reasonable price.

If Twitter Blue actually settles at $20USD/month the feature will either go moribund or be adopted en masse by spammers.

  10. David I am sending all my phantom compassion (it is like phantom honking) your way.
    Hope it helps.

  11. I am completely supportive of David Akin, in the same way that the Freedom Convoy was violent. You know how there was no violence, but it amused certain lying dickheads to talk about violence. Well, I’m offering no support, but it may amuse some lying dickhead to pretend I support him. So, pretend away, little dickhead!
