Stupid Canadians are still taking shots and wearing masks. There is no cure for this level of stupid. Death will be the only way out. Children are the current target and they are going after them with a vengeance. This control crap is not over. Until millions stand up and back down the politicians and the police you will keep eating s***.
And a huge increase in kids getting RSV plus other respitory infections.
Shortages of child pain killers plus antibotics.

Forgiveness? Last year I was ordered to quarantine for 21 days even though I was without symptoms for almost 2 weeks, and without any supporting policy or reasons, just because some petty tyrant was pissy. I was prevented from seeing my desperately sick wife in hospital. The hospitals where my wife was confined were dysfunctional and dangerous due to the imposition of absurd and dangerous covid rules. My daughter was promised she would be allowed to visit her mother, if only my daughter would agree to be covid tested, regardless of the test results. The public health despot then refused her entry to hospital with no reason given, leaving her grieving in a secured room in the hospital with her mother about to be intubated. The final straw was when a “public health officer” showed up in my driveway and repeated refused to identify herself. When I pulled out of the driveway of my home of 25 years she was screaming at me to identify myself. Enough. These abusive scum need to be stripped of their power and positions, and the public health policies need to be changed so they can never abuse us again. At this point I want justice and vengeance, not amnesty.
As is usual with these pleas for forgiveness the supplicant requires consolation for their error while those appealed to show noblesse oblige. How do I keep from feeling immensely superior to these people ? Once we descend into mob rule and the face mask of a civilized society is torn away can an amnesty and forgiveness suffice ? Canadians have little sense of the fragility of decency for all their supposed concern with ‘Human Rights’. As any student of history knows civilization has a very thin veneer. I must preserver in my integrity in spite of the claims for reconciliation. I think the unstated reason these people have spoken or written is a simple one. They want us to forget how badly they behaved. That way they can still maintain credibility when speaking or writing. I will grant them no such ‘amnesty’.
Your comment has me thinking back to an incident at Canadian Tire, where the guy with the mask-exemption papers IN HIS HAND was beaten to the floor by rent-a-cops and the store manager because he didn’t have a mask.
That incident is the -reality- of what kind of country we live in. Lots of concentration-camp guards and would-be Gestapo goons all patiently waiting for their time to shine. They just need some official cover and an excuse.
Sorry, we all SAW you, camp-guards. We ALL remember what you’re about. We’re not going to forget that, even if we resume pretending along with the polite fiction that everything is okay.
It’s funny how the Karens of this world think we will all forgive and forget… on their schedule. At their convenience.
Maybe if you p1ssy little Health Ministry block captains all step down from your government positions as an apology, then I might feel more forgiving. But continue on as if nothing happened, and you all still keep your iron-rice-bowl jobs and gold-plated retirement package?
Maybe if the Liberal government of Canada admitted they were wrong. apologized like grown men should, and all left politics right then, I might have some respect. But as we see, that is the reverse of what is happening.

Amnesty? Forgiveness? A guarantee that it won’t happen again? Right, I’ll get right on that and crank up my compassion feelings, just tell me what level you’ll be comfortable at! As I’ve said here before, our compassion will be the end of us. Where was their compassion when all of this started? Better question was where was their common sense? When those of us who said, “Wait a minute, this experimental ‘vaccine’ was rolled out too quickly.” and then questioned its effectiveness, where was their compassion? Their level of compassion could be likened to the same level of compassion that was exhibited on November 9, 1938 in Germany and in the months and years that followed.
I’ve had it with extending compassion when it always ends up as a one way street. If the sheep that didn’t have the backbone and stamina to question what was being forced upon them are now asking for amnesty and forgiveness then the place to start is to revisit the Nuremberg Laws and bring every politician and medical official that advocated for the mandated injections to trial. Every scientist and research specialist, every member on the board of directors of the pharmaceutical companies that foisted these injections on us should be arrested and tried. Every radio, TV, and print reporter, every editor, every producer that advocated for these injections should be brought to trial. When that happens I might consider compassion for all of the sheep that allowed themselves to be conned into thinking that a virus that had a 99+% survival rate within the general population was going to wipe out mankind if they didn’t get the ‘magical injection’. The problem, and we all know it, is that before we get these trials, convictions and punishment meted out, there will be roses and orchids growing on the dark side of the moon. Amnesty and forgiveness, cry me a river the size of the Nile and I’ll never forget or forgive!

since 2020 We all learned much more about our institutions, our leaders, our neighbours and even our extended families then we ever knew before. It wasn’t good news. Forgiveness and amnesty? Not from me anyway — and I fully expect all of the worst offenders will skate easily. At least within my own immediate circle I can make changes. I know who will never be welcome in my home again — they know it too.
I think it has just dawned on some people that they may have been the bad guys and amnesty is much easier than owning up to their callousness and cruelty. Others may want to quickly sweep the last 3 years under the rug because they know exactly what they did and are trying to hide the depths of their depravity under amnesty.

Anyway, it’s too soon. Their needs to be full transparency and some people in the medical, pharamaceutical and political class need to go to criminal court. Some journalists need to.be fired. Anyone who signed off on vaccine mandates for work and education needs to be fired. There also needs to be a formal process to prevent this type of human, civil and medical rights violations from ever occurring again. Otherwise it will happen again.
Best response I saw to the call for a covid amnesty was: “You spelled tribunals wrong.”
Is this really what’s meant by Amnesty because I haven’t seen a bit of contrition from anyone in government, public service , the medical profession or the public.
Rather, I think they want to give Amnesty to people like the truckers and those of us who are still staunchly unvaxxed. This would certainly be more in keeping with their odious characters.
