Organ harvesting is becoming ugly… Once the Doc declares that your heart has stopped and that you are undeserving of resuscitation, they will quickly clamp off the blood supplies to your brain (ensuring brain death), then restart the heart. The “deceased” can remain in this not-quite-alive state for rather a long while, and the organ harvesters can take their sweet time gleaning the highly valuable tissues that are in high demand. I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t able to clear the MAiD drugs from a pseudo-corpse before they began harvesting.

    1. Thanks for pointing that out. I too bristled when I read that. The nonchalance of the explanation screams volumes about the lack of respect for life especially for that of another.

      The sad thing is that these death merchants feel so self righteous.

Haven’t we been told that lethal injection executions have been put on hold … because the manufacturer of those medications are withholding them because they can now be considered “cruel and unusual” punishment? But now … the same drugs and procedures can be happily used to kill depressed people who have committed no crimes? Who haven’t raped and murdered an 8yo girl?

    I’m impressed that they managed to work out the kinks in the death penalty application for MAID. Or is this just the same way they worked the kinks out of the covid vaccine in months?

  14. Early 2021my neighbour gave himself a drug overdose of 5 different street drugs (including Fentanyl) because his life was a mess, covid lockdown cost him everything, he refused to get vaccinated and was living in constant fear of where the world was going. Roommate found him called 911…
    Hospital brings him back to life, pumps his stomach, medications to counter the OD etc, he was in coma for several days and when he woke up he was hella pissed off. He clearly wanted to die but they brought him back and with permanent injuries. He wasn’t allowed to die because doctors have an oath to preserve life.
    Now same neighbour is doing ok but clearly depressed and struggling day to day, however not suicidal right now. Did therapy now is happy to be able to get through each day best he can but they are offering him MAID… Huh so he wasn’t allowed to kill himself and when he did successfully they brought him back against his will only to then offer to kill him. The logic there is just overwhelming (with great sarcasm). You can’t kill yourself silly, we have to do it for you.

  15. So I bet those companies which provide these 3 drugs are OK with selling it to the Canadian Governments for the purposes of MAiD, but are unwilling to sell it to states with capitol punishment for their lethal injection process.

    There aren’t words or thoughts to help me wrap my head around all of this except that I truly believe this country has lost its soul.

      This is exactly where the Nazis started in Sept 1939. Then the “government authorities” have the gall to talk about “Canadian values”, when in fact they have no values.

    How come MAID is promulgated as this warm, kind and almost religious experience but lethal injection is cold, excruciatingly painful and therefore ‘cruel and unusual’ punishment?
    How do we have sufficient ‘medicines’ to eradicate over 10,000/year (and counting) while these ‘medicines’ are always reported to be in short supply to eliminate a handful of monsters a year in the USA?

    1. Because the companies that produce these medications (Pfizer and Spectrum Chemical, being 2) are more than willing to sell it to the canadian government for MAiD, while denying it to states who are using it for lethal injection.

      An enterprising journalist could ask them why, but that would likely result in them losing their government approved cheques from the media subsidy funds

    The definitions i found all mention prevention or treatment of a disease… In this context, is “life” the disease?

    1. Exterminating the patient is not the treatment of disease, it is simple murder.

      This is why the SCC had to eliminate euthanasia from the criminal code.

      It is the simple work of assassins, dressed up as “compassion”…

      Of course they don’t know the meaning of the word compassion, which is “to suffer with” the patient.

      The “governmental authorities” have corruptly conflated this with eliminating the patient.

      In short, they had to corrupt the medical profession to act as assassins, similar to Nazi Germany.

    1. So where are all the upstanding citizens that were vehemently opposed to capital punishment not so many years ago. I guess if its government approved then its OK, we can authorize putting Grampa on the fast track to the happy hunting ground but the murderers and rapists are now protected by law. As far as I m concerned I will take your three shots but in my case make them all double Crown Royal with a Bud Light for a chaser. Then you can all go home or slither back into your tax payer funded office while lamenting how selfish us old people can be.

  26. Bizarro world! It’s illegal to commit suicide, and if you fail, you are considered to have become mentally compromised.
    Therefore I presume that if you are deemed mentally compromised, they will now offer you MAiD! Whereby you can legally be put to death. How can anyone in the medical profession see this as normal. Even if it’s now legal in this country, how can it be considered morally or ethically acceptable???

    Who would of thought that Pandora’s box would be found in Canada! There again, when you have a country being run by a narcissistic psychopathic drama queen, I guess anything is possible. We are indeed fast approaching the final days of the decline and fall of our western “civilization”, but did we ever think it would be done to us deliberately?

  29. I don’t know if anyone has had experience of watching a pet put down with barbiturates and sedatives, but even with the sedatives, it’s pretty horrible to watch. Watching the animal experience panic and struggle against the sedative as it fights for life against the barbiturates – sometimes writhing in pain if the sedative is insufficient.

    I can absolutely guarantee that no matter what the cutesy propaganda says, many MAID terminations will be horrible: both to experience and to watch.

    1. I’ve experienced it done well and have also experienced it done badly… The worst ones were in Europe, where the vets used Alpha 2 agonists as the initial drug for euthanasia. While the drug acts so quickly that the animal never really knows what is happening, the initial effects are sudden nausea and evacuation of stomach contents… not a pleasant thing to watch. The drug then seriously sedates the animal, greatly lowers blood pressure, and greatly slows the heart rate (the magnitude of the effect dependent upon the dose). Finally, another injection of some other drug is given directly to the heart to ensure that death has occurred.

      Here in the States, the Vets I have dealt with have done a much better job of managing euthanasia. With the first injection, the animal quickly is calm, then asleep, and then fully anesthesized. A second injection of (usually) a strong barbiturate then stops both heart and pulmonary action. If the Vet you use won’t explain the details of their euthanasia protocol, and the likely effect (and side effects) that may be observed during the process, you need to find a different Vet.

    1. Because leftists are EVIL, and completely bereft of any sort of decency, morality, or common sense.

  33. “Insisted Dying” is here now as well, though the real spruiking has yet to start (unless I’ve missed seeing it).

    What I’m waiting for is the expansion of qualifying ‘mental health issues’ to include things like ‘vaccine denial’, gender ‘confusion or hostility, climate change and not supporting the government… Clearly, having these ailments makes you a burden on your loved ones and the state, and you should be put down accordingly.

    I used to think the only thing government did very effectively was get larger and more oppressive.
