Power struggle

So your main political party spent decades promoting plans to “nationalize the mines, banks and monopoly industry”? How’s that working out for you these days?

South Africa has reached an unprecedented level of rotational power cuts.

According to Mantshantsha, South Africa’s total demand at 19:25 on Tuesday evening was 30,480MW, while the available generation capacity was 23,289MW.

Virtual Energy and Power director Clyde Mallinson noted that only 40% of Eskom’s coal fleet is currently operational. Based on current performance, he said there could be stage 7 power cuts in February and stage 11 by June or July.

A nation run by “comrades” whose main concern seems to be the fate of the Lumpenproletariat.

  1. Since Feb. 2020 (the month before the Wuhan Flu lockdowns began), the public sector in Canada has increased by 500,000 individuals, an increase of 14% from 3.7 million. They now represent 25% of those counted as employed. And yet, the quality of services provided by governments are at their lowest levels ever. What are they all doing? The only think that is certain is that they will all vote for left-wing parties promising even bigger governments.

Add to this the Dear Leader’s “Just Transition” that will eliminate millions of private sector jobs in the oil & gas & related industries (without eliminating even one public sector job), and you have the same foundations for an economic collapse that will follow the trajectory of countries like South Africa and Venezuela.

    Long live Comrade Justin!

  2. That’s what happens when you leave black communists in control. You get all the joys of Africa mixed with all the joys of the former Warsaw Pact. In other words black incompetence multiplied by a hundred.

  3. The president’s daughter has been awarded an honorary degree in Power Engineering so expect this to get fixed ASAP.

    1. No one. The whites remaining in SA are the kumbaya sort who think Apartheid was wrong. The Saffers who figured the schwarztes would drive the country into the ground emigrated long ago.

      1. Thuc
The “whites” are descendants of the Dutch and English who took over SA, and then fought each other for control. Now look at how the Netherlands and England are fairing today, they are both commy shittholes.

  4. Kinda like if Canada let everything go back to “first Canadians”. There would be no power, water or food in short order.

    1. Plus a bunch more dead eagles, smoke, empty lakes and streams, and only one song.

Everybody, HI ya hi ya hi ya…..

      1. And only one drum beat. I’ve said it before, but for a culture so centered around the drum, you’d think every young buck aspiring to bang on a deerskin would have a poster of Moon, Bonham or Peart hanging in their bedroom, but instead it’s boom boom, boom in 4/4 time since the beginning of time.

    2. if Canada let everything go back to “first Canadians” there would be no power, water or food

And the Lord said unto the Indian: “Don’t do anything until I come back.

  5. De Ruyter said there is a connection between theft, sabotage, procurement irregularities, and local and national politics. “There is very little explanation for the very vociferous opposition to starting the just energy transition,” he said. Decarbonising the South African economy is essential to protecting the environment, growing the economy, and addressing energy security. “Why else [except for vested interests] would you so absolutely resist even the commencement of the transition,” he asked. De Ruyter raised the issue with one of his colleagues, which he describes as a wise woman, and her response was telling. “But Andre, you are naïve. You are not showing the comrades a way to eat,” she said.

De Ruyter, the Decarbonizing Missionary and Green Fanatic is shocked that the corrupt ANC Communists just want to show their fellow comrades a way to “eat.”

Just wait until De Ruyter get rid of all the coal plants on HIS Schedule. At least they have a chance to repair them now.

  6. Nations are like ships of old at sea.. Its all down to the crew and the Captain when a storm brews up.. Yes you can do a communist mutiny and reman/woman your vessel based on things that don’t matter.. Then you run aground and sink..

Unfortunately nations don’t sink they just become eyesores.. Get out while you still can..

So you’re saying Rob Anders was right all along.

  8. When everything has been destroyed and man sits in the dirt waiting for god to do something, maybe just maybe, man will open his eyes and with that his mind. A world full of incompetent ideologues is taking us down that road.

    1. If it wasn’t for the sinful nature of mankind, the world we live in would be much different.
