  2. They think they’re righting wrongs, but they’re only creating more division and stigmatizing those receiving the privilege. Every person excluded by discrimination today will hold a grudge against those receiving privileges, and every person receiving privilege today will hold the stigma that they only got where they’re at because they’re black (or female, or whatever). As recently said, you end discrimination by ending discrimination.

  3. The article notes that this was the kangaroo “human rights” court, but the tagline above shows the problem. Right now the family’s choices are to lube up and take it, or to go to real court. When the real court is stacked with Liberal appointed socialists all that would be expected from opting to get a lawyer is that it will bankrupt you and point you out as someone of whom an example must be made.

    1. The kangaroo court ruled according to Canadian law. Canadians make the mistake of thinking they live in a free country where everyone is equal before the law. They don’t. I have posted here the section of the Canadian Charter of Rights that lays out the fact that white men have no rights. A real court would make exactly the same ruling.

Since the only people in the workforce who entered prior to the charter are nearing retirement, and those who entered the workforce prior to the ‘exclude white males’ policies are nearing the grave… we are now at the point that we can argue that white males are a historically disadvantaged group and it is okay to implement policies to ameliorate that condition. My old commercial law professor from the late 80’s agreed with this in classroom discussion that after a generation of these policies that would be a valid case, and he did not like the argument being made in the first place.

Years ago when I first read that piece of sh*t I made two comments, one it ain’t worth the paper it was written on, and two, it was by lawyers, of lawyers and for lawyers. Not one canadian is in anyway free as a result of Trudeau senior and his bullsh*t constitution.

    That’s always been the case. There were female-only scholarships and bursaries in engineering when I was an undergrad thirty years ago.

  5. 30+ years ago I was denied a job in the City of Ottawa because I was not of a special group. Told straight out I was highly qualified but not getting it due to white/male/anglo/healthy/educated. The fact I was doing the same job in private industry, and the company I was with was doing the same work for the end user, I was not getting past the first step.

    At about the same time my brother who was well up there in CRA was told he was not being considered for a position because it was designated for a female. At the time they did not fill the position due to lack of “qualified” candidates (and a “I’ll see what the Union says about that” from my brother). He left CRA shortly after. Not surprisingly, his boss use to steal his credit and his work on a regular basis.

    I’ve managed to do quite well in my industry despite the disadvantage of being White/Healthy/Anglo/Male/Educate WHAME.

    Thank the Fates that I’m now retired.

    1. I was not only rejected after applying for a City of Ottawa job, I was flat out told NOT to apply to the city of Ottawa for employment ever again! (Can you guess what my skin color is? My application had to include a profile photo of myself.)

      That was an eye-opener to be sure, and one of the MANY reasons I need to get out. (I may have some news to report on the progress of that initiative by next week. [Crossing fingers and toes])

  7. Stop idolizing jobs. Strive to ensure every moment of labour produces only goods and services for your family and paying friends.

    Then, stand back and make sure all politicians are women and all employees are not white.

    You’ve already left the city, right?

    Enjoy your fruits and let the others try to figure out how to make their fancypants fit when they have lollipops up their asses. Or get the toilet to make the poo go away.

    1. That court challenge will probably bankrupt him. And in challenging the case through the court, he will be identified in the new regime as a social mal-content. The process is the punishment.

  11. I wear corrective lenses for my eyes.

    I’ve checked the handicapped (but functioning) box while looking for work, and I continue to do so.
    I haven’t identified as a woman in order to have less expensive auto insurance, but I’m not above that.

    My ancestory is Polish, if pressed, I’ll plainly state that I’m of a minority, and maybe ask for “special payments” for all the crappy polish jokes I was subjected to in the 70’s – 80’s.

    1. Trace your family tree back far enough and you can check most boxes. Being descended from Vikings I can check off virtually all of them except north american native, pacific islander, and australian aborigine… after all the vandals were from North Africa for a time, the city of Troy was in Asia, the Huns came from Asia… You get the idea. I assume we are using the one drop rule.

    I mean, he was our champion during almost 2 years of repression and government agression! Remember how he and all his buddies stood up for us?

  13. Original sin.. Modern law dictates the debt and guilt can not be passed onto your children.. Diversity or affirmative action is like living under dictators or gangsters.. Its as unfair as you can get.. But the people in charge want their votes.. Errr money.. Same / same..
