    1. That’s what I was going to point out – SOS.
Democrats use taxpayer money to fund “green” projects. ($535 million for Solyndra). They almost immediately go bankrupt. No one goes to jail.
Democrats don’t care because they got their money out of the deal.

  1. Money Laundering and Ponzi schemes. Those that get in at the beginning and get out before the collapse make off like bandits. Everyone else is hosed like the raccoon that opens your trash bag overnight.

  2. Electric buses a bad idea? Look who raved about how good an idea it was! As a friend of mine was fond of saying, “These people couldn’t run a two hole sh*tter.”

    1. How much did the city of Ottawa commit to investing in electric busses again? Over a billion dollars, I think?

    1. Missing from the article is who they were going to buy it from, and which former liberal MP was getting a consulting gig

  3. It’s a religion, and as emotionally constructed as any and ALL religions.
    Take that to the bank!

    1. A religion made possible and likely necessary by the attempt of communists to do away with “all religions”.

      1. No sense arguing about semanitcs. Cults are only religions that religions find wanting or darn upstarts. It’s all about the same impulse.

  4. Alternative statement from our “Government Experts”..
“We,being serial failures, screw ups and incompetent ,are eminently qualified to rule and regulate how you,who house and feed us,shall live and what you shall drive..”
Of course it is a scam..Monorail for all..
When finally called to account all the Klpetocrats involved, will explain that they were doing the tax payers a great service..
By directly stealing those public funds, they were preventing a legacy of toxic waste and smouldering batteries..
Just ask any Liberal..They know all.
We will revert to the old ways of ‘rewarding’ vicious parasites..
It is only a function of time and mass poverty.
Fence the cities in now, prevent more massive destruction later.

  5. So, how many hours do these things get before a recharge, compared to a diesel 10 minute refuel?

  6. Nothing wrong with ‘electric busses’, just not battery powered. Vancouver has had trolley busses since the ’50s. Work just fine.
A few issues of course,; they can only go where the overhead wires go, ie they can’t detour. Winter salt on the street has occasionally been a problem when it gets into the onboard wiring. But yeh, trolley busses are great.

    1. Trolley busses are great, rode them as a kid in the ’70’s.
100% efficient, or as close as possible, take the power directly from the grid, no wasteful depleting and recharging of batteries.

  7. Once the spider has sucked all of the good juice from the big bug, it has to move on to the next victim(scam). There are bigger and better green possibilities down the crooked road. Also, they must spend the winters someplace warm, so time is limited. That’s why I continue to say there should be a socialist minion hanging from every light pole between the White House and the US Capitol. “So let it be written, so let it be done.” Extra points for who said that.

  8. Victoria’s moonbeam mayor bought a few of these along with electric firetrucks. Absolutely insane. The firetrucks in particular are very concerning.

  9. Count the new swimming pools among the top executives … Solyndra execs had lots of ‘em.

  10. one word…Solyndra. and what happened there? 750 million tax payer dollars down the rat hole. and all of Blowbama’s cronies were laughing at us…seems they still are and pretty much nothing short of a revolution is going to solve this problem

  11. I have seen a few electric busses on Edmonton streets. I also saw the charging stations inside the bus barns. I am not so sure that is a good idea given the batteries propensity to self combust uncontrollably. If one of them turned into fireworks as it is being charged how many other busses would be lost should the bus barn begin to burn. I am sure they thought about it as they put the charging station as far away from the doors as possible….
