1. Hmmmm ? Why doesn’t the Barbie movie depict women “becoming men” … like Chaz Bono? I’ll bet they could create quite a narrative about THAT … which goes far beyond hairy Barbie armpits and Birkenstocks.

2. Making this comment may belie the fact that I don’t care about the Barbie movie or any review of it. The fact that grown men care one way or another about it is mystifying.

      I’m reminded of an old MAD magazine satire of Barbie from the Sixties. Ken is depicted in women’s clothing. The tagline goes:

      “Why is Ken wearing Barbie’s clothes? Because he doesn’t want to become a G.I. Joe doll.”

   1. Barbie’s been mercilessly crucified. The woke now “own” Barbie. They’ve claimed her in the name of depravity and stupidity … i.e. third wave feminism.
