Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Glad Sk is there or otherwise all that would be heard is the wonders of wee Justin’s green plan to ruin Canada. Still don’t understand why the Mayor of Regina is going.
Everyone who goes, goes to enjoy the weather, the parties and the all around good times. And maybe, just maybe show the world there is a Saskatchewan and people actually try and live there in spite of draconian governments.
My eye was drawn to the University of Guelph along for the ride. They say they’re known as Canada’s Food University, maybe they want to pass along what they know about growing insects to feed the masses.
But they do have an Engineering school. A real DEI group, could be that for them, COP28 would be not just weather and parties, but also a free trip home to visit family in the area.
Serious Question > How will SK know which portion of any electric bill is for heating versus for cooking, lighting, entertainment, etc,?
Maybe Roy Romanow or Grant Devine will decide.
Smart meters.
The amount of draw and for certain periods of time, correlated with outdoor temperatures etc.
I know a fellow that had a smart water meter installed in his house, it can detect flooding, not just with flood sensors but for the volume of water being passed, over time. It will shut the water off to the house if it detects an abnormality. It also ‘learns’ like how much of that use is using the toilet, the usage and duration of a toilet is fixed, so the system can learn that it’s a toilet and count said toilet flushes..
The gentleman was just over in Europe and said that households can monitor all thier energy usage through an app on thier phones, to see their usage of power, water and gas. His hosts were showing him the effect of hosting the 4 of them for their stay. He said it was surreal…
Simple, you warm the food, you warm the house.
Why is it that only electrical users need a break? Why no outlaw carbon tax?
I’m glad Brian’s here, to give us the nitty-gritty of the energy sector, at least in AB and SK.
See the flat green line hovering about the zero axis? That’s our wind generation fleet’s production for the past 6 days. https://transmission.bpa.gov/Business/Operations/Wind/baltwg.aspx
2800 MW installed capacity * zero when wind not blowing = zero.
I guess we need to keep building more wind turbines to compensate for when the wind doesn’t blow.
Brian what do you feel is Saskatchewan’s idea in attending this ?
Why would you want decarbonize of the oil patch when there is no harm in carbon/ carbon dioxide! As soon as you talk this way you are supporting the fraud of Anthropogenic Climate Change!
I’m thinking to support COP 28 you are supporting a fraud Premier Moe!
