    1. OPEC+ even madder and, I have to imagine, starting to freak out. This is a disaster for Saudi, even if the price of oil hadn’t declined they’d be in the hole just from cuts.

I remember when OPEC cranked in 2014-15 to defend their market share from American frack oil everyone pretended like this was some kind of blunder. What a bunch of idiots. They had no choice! Now they have ceded market share with nothing to show for it. The cartel will probably crack and when it does watch out! No more money for Russia for one thing.

      1. rd – I thought it was Chinese communist party rally at first. US army Pogo dancing? I feel safer already lol.

  1. From a thread below…’My Name Is Earl’ was a really funny politically incorrect show about a southern dirtbag who made a list to right the wrongs he ever did. It would never air now.

Hey! Is that Ukraine war still going on?
    And that thing in Israel?

Because I don’t check the comments every day…

  2. Hey remember that Tucker Carlson segment on Gonzalo Lira? That he’s an American citizen?

    False.

He’s Mexican and has been found guilty of (in the US): 2nd degree arson, possession of forgery tools, and illegal re-entry after deportation (twice). Here’s the proof:

It pays off when you know where to look for court documents. What else is he lying about? Probably everything.

(then he proceeds to post something about a Mexican guy named Gonzalo LIra-Zaragoza. NOT the well known journalist Gonzalo Lira who was born in Burbank California in 1968 according to *every other source*)

Hey, Allan? Maybe lay off the drinking before you post?

  3. Curling goes woke.

    “There’s a need for the curling community, across the country, to reach out to new communities — Indo-Canadians, Filipinos, Ukrainians, First Nations, LGBTQ and others …}
““It’s awful … It’s horribly white,” Epping said of curling in general.”

You want “Ukrainians,” aren’t they “horribly white” too?
    Make up your mind!

    1. Funny that amongst the commentary, no actual mention that said altercation was caused by a BLACK PUNK.

Picture is good mind you, but do ya really think they woulda mentioned that if no body cam shot a avail..??

      Not happening.

Toronto’s like pretty much every big city in this country, fully gone Progressive WOKE DEI Pro Hamas Anti White BS. And to me, every one of those useless teats in the mayors seat, were installed.

Don’t think for a moment that rigged elections don’t happen in Canada, they do ..and could easily happen in 2025 as well.

    1. Liz Cheney defines delusional. That small contingent of wealthy, but delusional NeverTrumpers never ceases to amaze, with their fever dreams of defeating the Great Orange Demon.

        1. “The ‘fever dream’ became reality in 2020. We won.”

You lied and cheated. You support electoral fraud.

        1. Sure, just ignore the demand side of the equation [waves hand] these aren’t the reasons you’re looking for.

          1. Indeed they’re not. Canada had more immigration about 100 years ago and it was fine because we could build stuff. See also ‘Calgary’, city of people who are rarely from Calgary and homes that cost half or less as much as those in Ontario.

          2. “Sure, just ignore the demand side of the equation [waves hand] these aren’t the reasons you’re looking for.”

Yeah, it’s funny how your average hardcore leftist fails to understand such a simple concept.

        2. So f**king wrong. It’s demand – primarily, that caused by allowing 1.2 million+ people into the country every year.

    1. What it takes is a bank vault with about 1000 Gold Bars.

3 Battery packs eh…$ 25,000+ USD bare Minimum
      Rear Drive motors… $ 10-15k ea…X 13..??

      And this is an “Accomplishment”.??
IT’S a freaking joke & 100% endorsement as to why one SHOULD NEVER buy an EV.

    2. It doesn’t add up at all. If the Motor Trend Fanboy asked hard questions, instead of fawning (as usual with anything EV), challenging these exaggerations, the awkward truth would come out.

All that downtime for repairs further compresses the remaining time to cover all those alleged miles driven. Smells like Bullshit.

      1. DanBC. Yup. Seems a bit fishy.

Back of the envelop calculation is 130,000 miles divided by 365 days per year equals 350 miles per day. At an average speed of 50 mph, that’s 7 hours of nonstop driving per day, every day.

To get to 50 mph average I assume mostly freeway driving with very little in-town stop-and-go and hardly any time spent hunting for an available, working charger. Every pee-stop and charging stop means either faster or longer driving times to maintain that 50 mph average.

If the chap is a sales rep (they put on a LOT of miles), that is 7 hours of driving and then… how many sales calls for how long? That makes for 12 to 16-hour days. Well, I’ve known a few sales reps and some of those reps do put in insane hours and miles.

But wait! That 350 miles per day is based on 365 days and I can’t see that he can make sales calls on weekends and holidays. So, we need to subtract 104 days for weekends, and let’s make it 9 days for holidays. Now we’re talking 252 days and that works out to be 130.000/252 or about 515 miles per day.

Oh? He’s a courier and not in sales? And it’s mostly freeway driving? Let’s say this lucky dog can average 60 mph, then. That works out to about 8.5 hours of drive time per day, and then you must add in charging time and stops.

So, the way I’m seeing it, this guy is driving about the same as long haul truckers but in a BEV, not a truck. I am having trouble figuring how he puts those mileage numbers on a BEV without also racking up insane hours before tucking it in for the night.

It’s doable. It seems he’s in a unique situation. And he’s gotta be nuts NOT to be using a high mpg vehicle with added extended range tanks.

It seems not to be so much a fishy tale as it is the story of a virtue signaling masochist.

  5. Gonzalo Lira is an American citizen who’s been tortured in a Ukrainian prison since July, for the crime of criticizing Zelensky. Biden officials approve of this, because they’d like to apply the same standard here. The media agree.
00:00) American Zelensky critic jailed in Ukraine
(05:14) Where is our State Department?

No, no…Allan S swears that guy is really a Mexican criminal and con man named Gonzalo Lira-Zaragoza.

  6. Wah.

Naked outrage from the left over surrendered Hamas terrorists in their underwear

    https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2023/12/naked_outrage_from_the_left_over_surrendered_hamas_terrorists_in_their_underwear.html

But the hand-wringing doesn’t stop. The clowns howling said nothing about Israeli women being raped, or Israeli men being raped, or women and children tied together and burned to death. They said nothing about a mass spray shooting at a concert that left more than 200 dead in that place alone. They said nothing about the taking and torturing, raping and beating of hostages. They were silent when a young Israeli woman was dragged through the streets of Gaza, nearly naked, spat on, danced around, and then beheaded and some of her remains left in some road where people could find it. They said nothing when Hamas baked a baby in an oven.

    Yeppers.

    1. I am sure Justine, Fraulein Freeland and Dr. Tam think there is no such thing as “excess mortality” as long at applies to Old Stock Canadians.
