   I remember some friends on an oilfield trade mission in Russia . late 80s . they noticed every time they pined for something between each other that it would arrive at the door a few minutes later , compliments of the house. they used it as a free room service but certainly limited everthing else they said . He said the Germans would play loud german band music and talk into each others ear with their hands cupped to hide their lips. and the russians would toast with vodka all the time , he took to pouring it into the plant by their table. couldnt keep up

   1. It’s common knowledge that the Canadian embassy in Moscow is heavily bugged. Sensitive information is off limits there.
